A Journey That Changed The World.-Chapter 1404: No Way I’d Let It Touch You
Suddenly, Morena surged forward, wrapping her arms around Archer's shoulders and shoving his head into her ample cleavage, her voice a seductive whisper. ''You read our minds, handsome. I was planning to ask for these after the children were returned.''
He didn't resist the older woman peppered his face with kisses as Demacia appeared in the room. The younger sister beamed when seeing the generators and Manaheart Crystals. ''Oh shit! That's a lot, but the mana radiating off them is so pure,'' she mumbled while going through the crate.
Archer pulled away from the beaming Morena as he replied. ''I have plenty of them inside my Item Box and in the horde. If you both need something, just tell me and I'll do my best to bring it.''
The two women smiled at his words as Demacia revealed. ''We need more prisoners; they will be gone within a few months.''
''Okay,'' he responded. ''I can deal with that, I'll just kidnap the prison population of Earth. Well the scumbags and murderers anyway, maybe the gang members as well.''
Morena couldn't help but giggle as he continued talking. ''Let me drop the kids back at their home, then I'll refill your prison. Go organize the cells to free up as much space as possible.''
Following that, he grabbed the children with Mana Manipulation and teleported to the walled settlement he built for Avidia's homeless population. A few seconds later, he appeared in the middle of the tent city.
Archer instantly sensed the panic thanks to the Mana Storm, but none of them were dead, as the wall was also damaged thanks to the wave that washed through the Domain, prompting him to repair it with a thought.
Once he finished that, the four children woke up while letting out yawns, as the blonde boy jumped up shouting. ''We're home!''
The others did the same thing, only to go silent when spotting him there. He chuckled before introducing himself. ''Hello, little ones. I'm Archer Wyldheart, Emperor of the newly formed Draconia Empire.''
Following that, the oldest of the four stepped forward and bowed his head. ''I'm Asta, my lord. Thank you for bringing us back, we didn't mean to cause trouble in your Domain.''
He waved him away as the others introduced themselves. A blonde girl with green eyes was the next to speak. ''I'm Asha, Asta is my big brother.''
''It's nice to meet you,'' he replied.
The other two children's names were Rev and Lev, prompting him to think. 'What is it with these names?'
Moments later, four adults rushed up to them with furious expressions, but when they saw him, they quickly knelt. One of the men spoke. ''My lord. Did you bring these troublemakers back?''
''They were fine, honestly,'' he replied. ''My wife fed them tea and biscuits only to fall asleep, but I want all four to join the explorer school I'll open in the next few months.''
When the parents heard this, they were shocked, prompting one of the moms to question with a confused look. ''Why?''
''The four of them survived in the wild where there are plenty of monsters that would have eaten them, but Asta here helped them get found,'' he commented. ''Also, once the war is over, loads of soldiers will become explorers, teaching at these schools.''
''Oh wow, that sounds interesting,'' another parent mumbled.
Archer agreed with a nod before saying his farewells. ''I'll get going now as I have something to do for my wife.''
Following that, he teleported to a mountain top in Avidia, where he got comfortable. Minutes later, he sent a army of Shadow Creatures to Earth ordering them to kidnap all the scumbags in every prison.
A seething tide of thousands of dark monsters surged into the shadows, their forms dissolving as they poured through the Gate he had opened. The portal pulsed with powerful mana, a bridge back to his old world.
As the last of the creatures vanished, his gaze settled on the distant skyline of New York, its towering buildings piercing the sky. A faint nostalgia tugged at him, and he murmured under his breath. ''I should visit the women there again. But it'll have to be before the babies arrive.''
An hour later, another portal flared to life. Teuila stepped through. She tilted her head, and a beautiful smile appeared, which stole his breath. He couldn't tear his eyes away from the lively bounce of her ponytail or the way her eyes glowed with affection as they met his.
A sudden prickle of instinct jolted him into action. Without hesitation, he yanked Teuila behind him, shielding her with his body. In that instant, a sharp projectile pierced his chest, sending a spray of blood arcing through the air.
Pain flared, but he gritted his teeth, his eyes locking onto the source, a Terravian, its reptilian features frozen in shock at the edge of the clearing. He lunged, his hand closing around the creature's face.
Without thinking, he crushed its skull as the rage built up, the sickening crack echoing in the stillness. Teuila stifled a yelp, her eyes wide as he gripped the weapon embedded in his chest.
He wrenched it free with a grimace, blood oozing from the wound. The pain was sharp but bearable, not deep enough to slow him down. When the young woman saw this, her eyes widened in shock.
''Arch! What the hell was that!'' she exclaimed.
Archer turned to Teuila, blood streaking his lips as he flashed a strained smile. His knees buckled, but she caught him, her arms steadying his weight. He met her worried gaze with a reassuring grin.
''I sensed that creature aiming for you, Teu. No way I'd let it touch you. I'll heal from this,'' he muttered.
As he spoke, the gaping wound in his chest began to knit itself closed, flesh and muscle weaving together with unnatural speed. He grimaced, a low hiss escaping his lips as the healing process burned through him.
The blue-haired woman looked troubled but sighed in relief as it was healed, allowing him to create a chair to sit down. Archer felt the pain shooting through his chest as it finally faded as Teuila climbed into his lap.
He drew the blue-haired beauty closer, her face nestling into his neck. ''Thanks for taking that hit for me, handsome. It must've stung.''
''Anytime, my love,'' Archer responded with a charming smile. ''And you're right, it hurt, but it's fine now.''
Moments later, the Shadow Creatures started filling up the Shadow Realm with prisoners from Earth but that's when he ordered them to kidnap gangsters, criminals and other scumbags from there.
As soon as those words reached the monsters, the numbers quadrupled and soon enough the realm was becoming to fall. Archer looked at Teuila before speaking. ''Do you mind coming to Morena and Demacia's place? I need to unload some prisoners into their prison?''
''Of course not,'' she answered cheerfully. ''I came here to spend some time with you.''
Following that, Archer teleported to the necromancer's home where he appeared in the living room surprising the white-haired beauty who was busy reading a Death Tomb causing her to look up.
''Hello husband, Teuila,'' she greeted. ''Already gathered the new test subjects?''
He nodded, a sly grin spreading across his face. ''More than I expected. Might need to expand the prison.''
The older woman's eyes widened at his words, her steps quickening as she led them toward the cells, where Tyrants and Blood Crawlers prowled the walkways. When Archer saw this, he closed his eyes.
A few moments later, the prison began to transform. The ground rumbled beneath their feet as the walls groaned, stretching deeper and wider with an eerie precision. The blue-haired beauty and the older woman froze, their eyes wide with astonishment.
Stone and iron warped and extended, carving out new cells in the shadows, the air thick with the scent of damp earth and rusted metal. Prisoners, roused by the sudden upheaval, let out panicked screams that echoed through the cavernous halls.
Their cries drew the attention of the Tyrants and Blood Crawlers. The monstrous creatures snarled as they loomed over the captives, silencing them with guttural threats and the clatter of claws against iron bars.
Archer noticed the noise fade into an uneasy stillness, broken only by the distant drip of water and the low growls of the guards. Minutes later, he stepped back, dusting his hands with a satisfied smirk.
As the expansion was complete, the prison was now a maze of despair, ready to house the growing number of captives. He turned toward the two women with a knowing smile. ''Now watch how many gifts I bring you and Demacia.''
Following that, Archer ordered the monsters to make sure none of the humans could run, forcing him to summon the Burrowfields that joined the Tyrants and Bloodcrawlers as the first prisoners appeared from the shadows.
A towering Black man, built like a fortress with muscles rippling under his skin, locked eyes on Archer. With a thunderous roar, he charged forward, his massive frame shaking the ground.
