Chapter 50: Chapter 50: Ni Nang

Terry then began to burn through her restraints. It looked like a blazing inferno had covered her entire body. Suddenly, from a dark corner, a female, with a body like the night sky, stepped forward.

...

’Perfect timing.’ I thought to myself.

Humanoid droids, quickly surrounded us from every corner. They twitched with every movment they made. Their internal hardware gave off a bright blue glow.

"We are going to have to take care of this and quickly meet up with Terry." I said out loud as I conjured a 7-foot scythe onto my arms.

"Don’t think I have forgotten that you just lost our game." Azrael said to me as he conjured a long sword.

"Azrael, stay focused on the matter at hand." I said to him, changing the subject.

’Shit, he won’t let this go anytime soon.’ I thought to myself as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

I then linked my connection with Azrael, which he quickly accepted. If he wasn’t willing to do so, the connection would not have been established.

’Still, Azrael did not run or try to kill himself. He was even willing to fight just now without me needing to tell him. He is genuinely here of his own accord!’ I thought to myself.

"Haa, I can’t believe you actually lost to your own shadow." The tailed Lilith said to me with a chuckle.

"Shut up." I said to her.

I then quickly grabbed one of the droids by the neck and studied its body as it struggled desperately to set itself free.

"What the fuck!" I exclaimed as I noticed something strange within the droid’s body.

’Organs, this droid has body parts that are covered with bright blue and black machinery. A heart, liver, brain, spinal cord, and more. Could this be a living being...are they all alive?’ I began to think.

I could sense life within them all, it was just so weak I barely noticed at first.

I then examined the machinery even deeper and saw small, microscopic diamond shaped machines crawling about. The machinery was made of them.

’Nanites...these nanites have altered the body of whatever this creature used to be.’ I thought to myself.

"Grayson! Quickly, put the manga back into your cloud before these things destroy them." Livia shouted in a panic.

"I assure you, they won’t get anywhere near you or your manga...they’re all so weak." I said to her as I crashed the neck of the droid. Azrael, the tailed Lilith, and Armando then surround Kitsune and Livia with their backs facing them.

I then swung my scythe towards the droids, killing hundreds of them with one swing. Azrael then left Armando and the tailed Lilith and joined me as we went on a rampage, killing the droids.

"Be sure to leave one alive." I say out loud.

Armando and the tailed Lilith then backed us up as they fired long range attacks all around. Half a minute later, thousands of droid corpses could be seen all around us, burnt, in pieces, or both.

Amongst all the broken pieces, one droid could be seen hovering, as it was left whole. It then began to charge towards me with its fist in the air as I slowly approached it. It launched its fist at me, but I easily caught it then grabbed the top of its head.

"Can you speak?" I asked the droid.

"Ni Nang Ni Nang Ni Nang Ni Nang...!" the droid said.

"What language is this? I can’t make anything of it." I said out loud.

Some of the broken droids around were still saying the same thing.

"Ni Nang"

"Ni Nang"

I then took a piece of its metallic like body then absorbed it into my dark cloud. I studied its properties and noticed that apart from the miniscule traces of flesh, there were no elements that I knew of within the piece. The metal itself was unknown to me.

Suddenly, the nanites that made up the piece began to spread all around my dark cloud.

"What the...they are trying to take control of my cloud!" I said out loud.

’How do I stop this?’ I thought to myself.

"Tailed Lilith, these nanites are trying to take control of my cloud. How do I stop it?" I asked her.

"I don’t know, but you better figure it out." She said to me as she crossed her arms.

’Useless!’ I thought to myself then restrained the droid with my dark cloud.

’Okay, I specialize in poisons. These things are like machines, can I even poison them?’ I began to think.

I then circulated the black poison of the ancient 3 headed serpent I had acquired from the Herb Haven in Asími. I directed the poison to attack the nanites.

This poison is supposed to rot the flesh and eat away the soul, but against living machines, it proved to be useless. I then circulated the red poison around the nanites. The red poison stopped the flow of one’s blood immediately, then solidified it within seconds. However, this too proved to be useless as these things didn’t have any blood.

"Shit!" I exclaimed to myself.

I then had one last option, the purple poison. I never found out exactly what this poison did per se, as it was a mystery even to the owner of the Herb Haven. So it was probably going to be useless as well.

"What do I have to lose?" I said to myself then began to circulate the purple poison.

Immediately after doing so, I began to understand the workings of the nanites. Endless streams of information began to flood my brain as my understanding of them grew more and more, causing a tremendous amount of pain in my head. The pain only lasted for a little longer than a moment. A few minutes later, I was able to understand the data and take full control of the nanites within my cloud.

’This doesn’t feel like a poison, but whatever it is, it saved me. According to the owner of the Herb Haven, the serpent head that secreted this poison was able to absorb even Armando’s purple tribulation lightning.’ I thought to myself.

"Did you figure it out?" The tailed Lilith asked as she tightly gripped her arm.

"Yeah, no thanks to you." I said to her.

She then quietly let out a sigh as she loosened the grip on her arm.

"Ni Nang Ni Nang Ni Nang..." the droid kept on saying, sounding more frustrated now. Somehow, my brain immediately translated what he was saying and I could finally understand.

(Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me...)

The droid kept saying in repeat.

"You want me...to kill you?" I asked the droid.

The droid then looked at me with surprise, clearly not expecting me to have understood it.

"Yes... PLEASE... kill me... kill me, KILL ME...!" It began to say as its voice grew louder and louder. I then grabbed its head with my right hand and crushed it.

"Let’s go." I said to everyone, letting go of the now severed head.

I attempted to open a gate, but for some reason something was stopping me from doing so. "What’s wrong?" The tailed Lilith asked.

"For some reason, I can’t open a gate to Terry’s location." I answered her.

"Is it Theós?" She asked.

"No, this feels different." I said to her.

I then open a gate next to Livia and Kitsune and tell them to keep their manga inside the dark cloud.

"Let’s hurry, Terry might be in danger." I said to them then flew off.

The tailed Lilith quickly caught up with me as we rushed to Terry’s location.

Luckily, I could still sense Terry through the link that I share with her. I could tell she was still alive. We then flew straight to Terry’s location. We suddenly smashed through some sort of invisible shield. The shield collapsed and in front of us, we saw a large, mechanical like planet. Before hitting the shield, it just looked like empty space.

"What the hell was that?" The tailed Lilith asked staring at the massive hole we made on the shield.

"I don’t know, but more importantly...where did this planet come from?" I raised a question of my own.

I then spread my senses throughout the entire planet. I sensed Terry was here, at the very core. We then quickly flew into the planet’s core, breaking countless machinery along the way. We finally stopped before a massive tower that seemed to be connected to the rest of the planet.

We went into the tower and found Terry in a heated battle against a feminine, human like figure covered in full black and had a 6-foot black tail floating behind her. It followed wherever she went as if it were connected to her body. Her eyes were bright blue and her irses looked like the inside of a mechanical watch.

(Rings of Fire)

Terry said in a commanding voice. The three words then echoed all around, carried with power. Hot, scorching, rings of fire then began to form, with Terry’s body as the center. The rings rose up to 20 feet and covered all directions. Everything that they touched turned to ash.

The female figure covered in black looked unmoved. She casually approached Terry as she avoided each ring as if she was in control of them. She then got close to Terry and launched her fist towards her.

I then appeared in front of Terry and caught the fist before it could strike her. A shockwave, accompanied by gusts of wind exploded in all directions upon impact.

"Strong punch." I said to the female human like figure then shook my wrist up and down to ease the pain from her strike.
