Above The Sky-Chapter 1887 - 389: Pioneer Platform
From long ago, he possessed the Rites of the Star Gods and had the assistance of the Dragon Kings. Ian even had a True Dragon friend like Sio to research with day and night. He had long understood the essence of the True Dragon’s Dragon Soul and Aetheric Body, and after comprehending from the Crystal Dragon the essence of the True Dragon’s ’Divine Body’ that simultaneously influences the material world and the Domain of Void as a ’super-dimensional body,’ he had been pondering how to transform his own body.
And now, he had found the path: although creating a Divine Body that naturally impacts both worlds like those made by the Star Gods for the progenitor and mentor True Dragons is difficult to achieve in one step, he could fuse it!
As long as he crafted a soul that can resonate with the body and penetrate the Domain of Void for a body that meets all the conditions, then once the Dragon Soul is created, the Dragon Body could possess a portion of the ’Divine Body’s’ great power!
This represented the pinnacle of Ian’s skills in Spirit Energy, Dragon Soul, and the Rites of the Star Gods. It was the [ultimate power] he realized through the True Dragon’s Body; the Glass Emperor Dragon’s body naturally met the conditions for the two Domains of Extremes: [Body] and [Origin Quality], while an artificial Dragon Soul could equip him with the [Soul] Domain of Extremes.
And lastly.
Holy Mountain.
Holy Mountain Depths.
Ian’s ’true form,’ his original body, the Unyielding Fortress, the body where the Pioneer of Iron resided, stood hovering over the endless black sea of the Thousand-Star Beast that was gradually boiling, restless, and constantly writhing.
Unlike the clearly flawed Fairy Body and Glass Emperor Dragon, Ian’s true form had no defects. He possessed a complete soul, a powerful body, intricate memories, and an overwhelming Origin Quality.
The Ancient Dragon Star Core and the Blazing Light Divine Marrow, two Fifth Energy Level organs, were operating within him. The Aether Crystal, the core of the Aether Furnace, was already prepared, becoming part of Ian’s body.
Among the Five Grand Extremes Realm, he had already achieved four, lacking only the elusive [Willpower].
Ian was already one of the movers and shakers of this world. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
He didn’t even need to deliberately pursue advancement or perfection; he just had to wait for his other bodies to perfect their flaws, reach a state of completeness, and unite with him to form the true [Aether True Body].
"Don’t worry, Ian."
Yisen Gard followed behind Ian, with the Sunbird Sigil wrapped in black veins floating weightlessly at his forehead, hovering behind Ian.
He and Ian both watched the Thousand-Star Beast, speaking lightly: "When the critical moment comes, if you really need me, I’ll lend a hand."
"No need."
In response, Ian’s gaze was deep, and his tone calm: "Although it’s been provoked by the Calamity of Light, it’s merely a forewarning. Most of the energy is being deflected by various shields and Fifth Energy Level powerhouses; the awakening of the Thousand-Star Beast is still far off. Don’t keep thinking about offering yourself to it. As long as I’m here, it won’t be your turn to sacrifice."
"Then what do you intend to do?" Yisen Gard raised an eyebrow: "Planning to seal it completely while the Thousand-Star Beast is currently quiet?"
"No. Quite the opposite."
At this moment, Ian’s expression was indifferent: "I’m considering whether to activate the Thousand-Star Beast now, before the Calamity of Light truly arrives."
Yisen Gard was taken aback, while Ian continued: "Currently, the Thousand-Star Beast evidently lacks the energy to fully awaken. If I provoke it to awaken now, then join forces with Embrace Light, the Crystalline Dragon King, and other Fifth Energy Level powerhouses to suppress it, it wouldn’t be difficult. No one would even die; at most, the continent would experience frequent earthquakes, a dozen more volcanoes, and grand canyons."
"If it revives prematurely and is severely damaged then returns to slumber, even the real Calamity of Light wouldn’t awaken it easily, nor would it be summoned by Axel to devour half the life on Terra."
"...Good idea!"
After a moment of stunned silence, Yisen Gard didn’t deny Ian’s thought at all but instead opened his eyes wide with amazement: "Hitting it half-dead before it truly loses control, to prevent the Thousand-Star Beast from recovering its full activity. The only problem is that with the Calamity of Light, powerhouses of various nations are protecting their own lands. Even if the Thousand-Star Beast causes chaos, not many can come in time."
"That’s indeed an issue. So I’m thinking."
Ian said slowly: "I’m considering whether to activate the Thousand-Star Beast after my battle with Michael and Axel, forcing the nations to shift their focus to the Thousand-Star Beast."
"This way, if Michael and I win, the Empire can gain time to breathe and recover. And if Axel wins, I can at least eliminate one of his world-destroying contingencies and then proceed to the next steps gradually."
"Of course, the best outcome is for us to defeat Axel as swiftly as possible, preventing the true Calamity of Light from descending, so the Thousand-Star Beast naturally wouldn’t awaken."
Defeat Axel.
Yisen Gard repeated this phrase in his heart. He originally thought it was something that would happen much later, a matter that needed to wait for a ’special occasion’ to be addressed—but now, suddenly, that occasion had arrived, and the war with the King of Divine Birds had begun.
This grandfather of his could even say he had ’finally obtained’ Michael’s rebellion.
"So."
Yisen Gard instinctively asked himself: "If he really intends to brainwash everyone in the world, when would he initiate the brainwashing?"
