Abyss Summoner-Chapter 364 - 354: Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish (2)
The creatures lurking in the Abyss aren’t just Demons and some dark beings; these mutated species are also residents of the Abyss.
At a glance, the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish appears to be a type of fish. But upon closer inspection, you will realize that the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish is an entirely different kind of thing—neither fish, nor squid, nor a boneless deep-sea predator; yet it combines characteristics of all three.
An adult Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish is about thirty meters long and weighs around eighty tons. As time progresses, they can grow even larger, indicating that the creature Chen Feng has summoned might just be a juvenile.
Their streamlined bodies allow them to swim smoothly in the ancient oceans of the distant past and in the subterranean seas extending beneath modern continents.
Perhaps the most noteworthy feature of the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish is its tentacles. These tentacles are primarily used for attacking, capturing, and morphing their prey and efforts, and they serve as tools for the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish to maneuver on land when out of water.
The powerful tentacles grasp onto nearby objects for leverage, pulling the body forward awkwardly. These tentacles are composed of muscular bundles wrapped in membrane tissue coated with mucus.
The skin of the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish is actually a multilayered, thick, membrane-like tissue, too dense to be called mucus and too supple to be called skin. This membrane is similar to water-permeable rubber, possessing astonishing elasticity and flexibility.
The tissues forming this membrane are far tougher than the skin of most creatures, making it very difficult to cut or pierce. When filled and supported by the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish’s skeletal structure, it provides excellent natural armor.
Like deep-sea divers, due to their unique body structure, Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish are amphibious creatures, capable of surviving in the sea and engaging in short-time battles on land.
Most importantly, the domain in which the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish resides is under Diogenes’s jurisdiction. Chen Feng has just received the blessing of this legendary [Demon Prince], and in this summoning, he has called forth a being from his domain.
Is it coincidence? Or some special arrangement?
Salt Marsh.
The Salt Marsh is the 88th layer of the Bottomless Abyss, the home of one of the mightiest Demon Princes, Diogenes. Here is a realm of brine and rocky outcrops, where flying Demons use these outcrops as their lairs. Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish, deep-sea squids, and Demon Stingrays wage war in the deep sea, but all creatures must bow before Diogenes’s power.
The waterborne part of the Abyss is adorned with two winding high towers, topped with spires shaped like skulls. Here, Diogenes employs his extraordinary power, attempting to coax the Bottomless Abyss into revealing its secrets. His palace mostly extends underwater, in a never-daylit, icy dark cavern. The Demon Prince amasses his power, rarely engaging directly in the blood battles. His intentions are far deeper than that.
As a subordinate of the Demon Prince, the ferocity of the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish can well be imagined. Its primary weapons are twenty tentacles, covered with circular suckers, each edged with small saw-like teeth, which can suck the flesh from enemies, leaving many circular scars on the corpses.
Rumor has it that Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish were creatures created by the Demon Prince. They embody too many species’ traits, exhibiting not only agile movements and terrifying tentacles but even the ability to control lightning.

Steelification [Sacrifice]: The Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish transforms its tentacles into tough chains with barbs through sacrifice. From then on, its tentacles are immune to all Magic Attacks and any negative effects. Devour: The Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish is an omnivorous creature, with its stomach having an extremely strong decomposition and absorption power. Although it cannot acquire the abilities of swallowed creatures, it can completely decompose the opponent’s body, speeding up wound recovery.
Mighty Tsunami: As a renowned marine creature, the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish can invoke the power of nature to stir the waters of the Abyss Sea, creating tidal waves with the power to destroy everything.
Whether due to its status as the Demon Prince’s offspring or as a deep-sea monster in its own right, the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish’s presence is undoubtedly a powerful ally for Chen Feng.
The creature’s strength has crossed over to the Silver Peak; in the ocean, its power increases by about thirty percent. As a strong Water Element creature, it specializes heavily in water. In the water, any non-Golden Tier creature that encounters it will experience a nightmare.
Perched above, the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish gazed at its new master, six eyes displaying a curious glance, apart from the ten tightly shut ones.
It is not without wisdom.
As one who resides in the Abyss, this creature engages in slaughter for its usual pastime. Still, its favorite activity is playing music, liking to idle and emit flute-like sounds from its mouth, lacking much melody yet hauntingly lingering.
Some strong figures in the Abyss specifically hunt the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish to forge their vocal cords into musical instruments for daily performance.
At this moment, the Bottom-dwelling Demon Fish gently swayed its massive body, a tentacle as thick as a tree extended towards Chen Feng slowly, signifying no hostility, more like a simple gesture of goodwill.
The tentacle halted in front of Chen Feng, and gazing at the thick tentacle, Chen Feng extended his right hand, softly pressing it against it.
Just like this.
On this land, having just endured a fierce battle, the master and the Summoned Beast encountered each other for the first time...
