The people shivered, they had no idea that Shi Lang had come out of seclusion, and him heading over was not something that sounded good to them either. However, the people didn't have the guts to say these things, but just as Hao Mei was about to turn around and leave, Mu stood up and put on his sincere expression as he said, "Pill Master, I was about to come and find you. We have decided that all the elders will pick up the suitable target and attack them. We promise that these evil beings would be punished for their deeds."

Hao Mei turned to face the man and revealed a smile that was not so much of a smile. She said, "I thank you for this quick decision, but the situation has already been taken care of. Hall master himself took the action. For now, just wait patiently."

This was the last nail Hao Mei had hit, she sealed the coffin, as these people all knew that their dilly-dallying has now landed them in a quagmire where death was a happy outcome. Shi Lang was not called the Shura King for no reason.

Alchemist Mu was shocked, and so were the rest of the people, but before they could say anything the door of the discussion hall was pushed open and they all heard soft footsteps approaching towards them. These steps seemed to carry the weight of the mountains in them and as the sound grew closer, some of the faint hearted ones directly knelt on the ground, and some shivered in anxiety.

While not all the elders were in the wrong, but they were weak and the strong ones bullied them with their position and strength. This was how the world worked, it could never be completely eliminated, because Shi Lang was feared and respected, all because of his strength.

If he was a weakling, then he would have died a long time ago. Shi Lang's figure became visible to the people, and they saw him covered in blood. The last battle that Shi Lang had was a little too gory because he was dealing with someone asshole who refined the fallen into puppets and the puppets detonated when he attacked the man, this was so sudden that he could not prevent blood from soaking his clothes.

As he approached Hao Mei, he raised his hand and patted the girl's head as he said, "Mei, point out which of the people have been causing trouble."

Hao Mei smiled and nodded, she didn't mind that he was covered in blood, it was just his clothes the rest of his body was clean, and his face was even sparkling with jubilant spiritual vitality. One after the other Hao Mei began to list the faults of the people, she didn't spare even one person, and when the people heard how thoroughly their crimes were reported, they realized how strong the monitoring upon them was.

Everything they have been doing, it was all listed and Hao Mei was not reading a list, she was acting casually, and this frightened the people more. After a couple of hours, Shi Lang said, "Apart from Elder Mu, the rest of you will be punished with spirit restraining locks and carry out hard labor around the sect for a week. Train your wills and understand what you want on your own. If you find that the ideas we share in the Asura Hall are too much for you to bear, then feel free to leave here after the punishment is over."

He paused and his gaze fell on the man in the question, Elder Mu, and he said, "You entered the sect with a formula of the pill, that is a good thing, but then you began to influence the people around here, so I wonder if you are a spy sent by other sects who are jealous of the growth and reputation of the Asura Hall, or you are tasked by the Realm Lord to disrupt the growth of the human race. If you confess now, I will be lenient."

As soon as he said this, the people opened their eyes wide, only now did they understand what was going on. The reason behind why Elder Mu did all this was becoming clear and they were really shocked because they took this man to be their comrade and trusted him.

The people wanted to kill him right away but they could not make a move with Shi Lang present and it was also not needed for them to act at all. Shi Lang knew it all, and since he knew what Mu was up to, he would have the means to deal with him.

Mu shivered, and Shi Lang gazed at him rather seriously before the latter said, "I don't have all day to mingle with you."

His eyes flashed crimson and then Mu was put under an illusion spell. Shi Lang asked, "Whom are you spying for?"

Mu shook his head and replied, "For none, I have not been sent over by anyone."

Shi Lang thought for a second and then used his communicator to call for Darcx, the latter had a different method of cultivation and he was not in seclusion because it wasn't needed. After a few minutes Darcx showed up at the entrance of the hall, all the people were still present, and Shi Lang said to Darcx with a spiritual message, 'Can you tell if he is being honest?'

Darcx nodded and gestured for Shi Lang to continue, Shi Lang began his second round of interrogation and as soon as Mu said something, Darcx shook his head, and Shi Lang understood that this man was feigning to be under the illusion. Shi Lang vanished from the main chair and when he appeared the next time, he was standing one meter away from Alchemist Mu.

Shi Lang's brain was working in over drive, he began to think why he failed to put this man under the influence and at the same time, he was perceiving the pattern of the Dao Fluctuations radiating from the man. After a moment, Shi Lang raised his hand and pinched the void, then everyone saw Mu raised his right hand and taking off a ring from his left index finger and the man dropped the ring on the floor.

Shi Lang's gaze flashed with crimson one more time, and he said, "Who sent you here?"

Mu replied, "Khyber Race warrior Titus, he wanted to know what is so special about the Asura Hall and he wants to sacrifice Young Miss Tao because of her special physique."

Shi Lang clenched his fists and Darcx nodded as he felt sorry for the people involved in this matter. The Terran asked, "Where can I find this Titus?"

Mu replied, "He is residing the Dao Battlefield, ready with his forces, and is waiting for a moment when you are away so that he could attack."

Shi Lang pressed deeper, "The evil cultivators coming up were because of his actions? To create a diversion and then you would have given him the signal to come over, was that your plan of action?"

Mu nodded and replied in a daze, "Yes."

Shi Lang gripped the man by his throat and he said, "Mei, I have disabled his cultivation, and you can throw him inside the prison, and call Xiao Yu, we are heading out to the Dao Battlefield." 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

Hao Mei frowned and asked, "Baba, what about you let me go with you? Xiao Yu has been working on her skill and she is reaching a crucial point in her comprehension. Mengmeng is too young, and her strength is lacking compared to her skills."

Shi Lang looked at her and said, "I know that you want to fight this guy, but Xiao Yu would become too volatile to handle the hall matters after we are out. Also, with the upcoming changes, I need someone strong and wise here. Don't worry there will be a chance when we fight side by side, because I have a feeling that I would need to visit the Khyber race plane and ask them what this is all about and if they really wish for extinction."

Hao Mei smiled and she conceded, she knew that Yu Xeidi had not been out to battle in a long time, and so this girl needed to beat up some of her accumulated battle heat. With that done, Shi Lang tossed away the man in his grasp and headed out of the gathering hall. None of the people protested after this and even stepped up to take the punishment.

Shi Lang came to his courtyard and found Amelia was sparring with Xiao Meng and the two stopped, as the former asked, "What is going on? You don't look very dandy."

Shi Lang explained to her about what was going on and Amelia frowned hard, she asked, "What do you want to do with this?"

The Terran replied, "I will first tell him the reason, if he doesn't understand, then I will take off his head and bring it to his parents."
