Achieving Nothing, I Can Only Be the Pirate King-Chapter 558 - 329: Slicing the Heavens (Part 3)
Lily’s eyes emitted a crimson hue as the Supreme King Haki surged out from her body, crashing onto Katakuri.
Supreme King Haki, before it can be coiled, is not merely emitted to deal with the strong; rather, it is released with timing to momentarily stun the opponent’s spirit.
But just as this Supreme King Haki rushed out, a burst of Haki, no less than Lily’s own, erupted from Katakuri’s body, forming two shields of mixed colors in the air, opposing each other.
The opponent has it too!
Lily gritted her teeth, moving at high speed, quickly positioning her sword blade in front of her. The blade pointed forward while her entire body and sword were hardened with Haki, and her body tensed rapidly.
"Tekkai Air Fang!" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
The techniques of the Six Styles, she mastered them all, though some she rarely used.
But now she had no choice!
This defensive move, due to the sword, also had an offensive element; striking the blade would cause damage, and hitting other areas would allow Lily to swiftly release the tension of Tekkai, then attack.
But that move was reserved; she was confident in her speed, believing that any attack would only strike the blade...
Bam!
The attacking bar-shaped mochi, upon nearing her White Thunder, suddenly curved and struck her face solidly, sending her crashing into the sea, colliding with a remaining shipwreck.
Boom!!
The extensive wreck had a hole blasted through it, breaking into two pieces.
Only then did Katakuri land on another piece of the wreck, looking across the sea.
From the wreckage ahead, Lily leapt out through the hole, landing on a broken mast, spitting out a mouthful of blood.
Half of her face was visibly injured, with blood seeping from the corner of her mouth.
"Logia-type? No, the intel said you’re a Paramecia-type... a special Paramecia-type?" Lily said in a serious tone.
If it weren’t for the Haki Defense prepared in advance, swiftly converting the hardening to coiling upon being hit, concentrating the Haki on her face, the damage from that punch would have been much greater.
That wasn’t all; the key point was none of her attacks landed, all dodged.
Dodged as if by a Logia-type.
Yet it was different, as Logia-types can elementalize, allowing them to avoid attacks unless their physical form is captured.
"I’m the Mochi-Mochi Fruit’s Rice Cake Person, able to transform any part of my body into mochi. This nature allows me to easily manipulate my body, opening holes, changing angles, too easy..."
Katakuri said in a deep voice, "Every move you make is meaningless to me."
Ten seconds ago, he foresaw the future, seeing this woman initially attack, use Supreme King Haki for temporary intimidation, then split the ship with a sword, leading to significant losses.
Her tactics shocked Katakuri, prompting him to strike first and block this Sword Princess.
In naval battles, anything can happen. Katakuri wouldn’t allow someone with Supreme King Haki to advance unchecked.
"You’re not my match; it should be Moriah who comes over."
Katakuri raised his trident, "After I defeat you, I’ll turn to deal with Moriah, then crush you all!"
Lily took a deep breath, her expression growing more solemn.
This guy’s a super strong enemy!
The strength of Haki, ability development, and the power to foresee his moves... Lily knew that was Foreseeing the Future since Sage could also do it.
Everything about him, for Lily, was beyond her.
But...
"We’ll only know if we’re rivals after we fight!"
Lily gripped White Thunder, her eyes’ crimson almost spiraling out, the torrent of Supreme King Haki surging around, causing her golden hair to flutter wildly.
"Just because you’re strong, doesn’t mean I’ll back down; who do you think I am?!"
A Sword Master... never backs down!
