After Giving Birth, All My Beast Ex-Husbands Suddenly Want Me Back-Chapter 75: A nine-tailed fox?
Nina sat excitedly by the nest, propping her chin in her hands as she waited for the egg to hatch.
Sal finished dressing and took a seat beside her, quietly keeping her company.
At first, only a thin crack split the shell. A long time passed before the fissure widened even slightly.
Mino and the others hadn’t gone far. Before long, they returned and immediately noticed Nina staring intently at the nest.
Another baby was about to hatch.
They quickly finished preparing the food in their hands and gathered around to welcome the second cub into the world.
Everyone sat in a circle around the nest, eyes fixed on the trembling egg.
After a short nap, Yinny woke as well and crawled over to watch. The remaining eggs wobbled excitedly, as if cheering their sibling on.
Crack.
The split widened dramatically, and several tufts of white-tipped fur poked through the opening.
What was that?
Everyone instinctively glanced at Yinny, confusion written all over their faces.
Did a little white tiger have that many fluffy tips?
Before they could figure it out, the shell suddenly flipped open—and a fluffy red head popped out.
The tiny creature had luxurious, flame-red fur, pointed little ears, and glossy black eyes like polished grapes—bright, lively, and pure. The corners of his eyes tilted up slightly, giving him a clever look. A small, rounded pink nose sat above a delicate, pointed mouth.
Behind him swayed multiple long, fluffy red tails tipped in white—gorgeous and dazzling.
They were all stunned.
A fox?
Wasn’t it supposed to be another white tiger?
Mino and Yanai stared in disbelief. How could two cubs from different species hatch from the same clutch?
Sal felt like he’d just been struck by lightning again.
A nine-tailed fox?
Could this be Finch’s child?
Damn it. Had that fox also taken advantage of Nina? Those two bastards... I’ll tear them apart one day!
All three males looked at Nina with deep admiration.
Seven cubs was one thing—but different species too?
Their gazes shifted in unison to the five remaining eggs.
What would hatch next?
Another surprise?
Suddenly, a thought flashed through Sal’s mind.
If Nina could give birth to cubs of different species... then maybe one of the remaining eggs contained his little leopard.
Yes. Definitely.
Maybe all of them were his.
His eyes gleamed as he stared at the unhatched eggs.
Come on, little ones. Be leopards.
Nina herself was stunned.
She had assumed they would all be little white tigers.
The red fox turned his tiny head and finally spotted Nina. His eyes curved into crescents, and he tilted his head, offering her a sweet, adorable smile.
Her heart melted instantly.
Species didn’t matter.
They were all her precious babies.
The little fox leapt out of the shell—but stumbled and nearly toppled over.
He wobbled toward her, then flung himself into her arms, letting out soft "ying-ying" cries.
Mother... Mother...
Nina gathered the soft bundle against her chest, her heart turning to mush.
"Another good baby has hatched!"
The fox nuzzled her affectionately, his fluffy tails swishing happily behind him.
She gently scratched under his chin. "Now that you’ve hatched, Mother should give you a name."
The little fox nodded obediently.
After thinking for a moment, Nina smiled. "You look so clever and handsome. Your full name will be Dio Song. And your nickname will be Didi. How does that sound?"
The fox’s tails wagged even faster.
"Ying-ying!"
I’m Mother’s Didi now!
Yinny padded over as well. Nina scooped him up too, and the two little ones rubbed against each other amicably, greeting their new brother.
The eggs in the nest wiggled joyfully, as if congratulating Didi on hatching.
Nina handed Yanai another baby bottle and asked him to prepare milk for the cubs, while Mino and Sal began cooking.
The evening passed in warmth and laughter.

They set off again the next day.
Dahn and his crew harassed them once more. In the afternoon, they encountered another unfamiliar group of males—and somehow ended up with two more "tails" following them.
Nina was growing truly fed up.
That night, she made a decision.
"Little Bun," she asked in her mind, "is there anything harmless that can temporarily make me look ugly?"
Until they settled somewhere stable, she thought it might be better to be less eye-catching. Otherwise, they’d keep attracting trouble.
Little Bun searched quickly.
[Yes, Host. There’s an item called the Illusion Face Stone. Wearing it allows you to change your appearance. Remove it and you return to normal. It’s harmless to the body. Your current level allows purchase of one.]
"Alright. I’ll buy it."
It was reasonably priced and convenient.
[What appearance would you like? I’ll set it for you.]
"My previous ’ugly’ look."
That would be easiest to explain.
[Understood.]
Little Bun configured it and placed it in her system inventory.
That night before sleeping, Nina put on the Illusion Face Stone.
***
The next morning, Mino and the others saw her and froze.
"Nina... your face..." Mino stared in shock.
Yanai and Sal were equally stunned.
"I think the poison relapsed," Nina said calmly. "I don’t know if it can be cured this time."
She chose not to tell them it was an item.
With Mino and Yanai, she wasn’t sure their future paths aligned. If her appearance deterred them, perhaps that would settle things naturally.
As for Sal, she would treat this as a test.
If he recoiled because of her looks, then he wasn’t worth her feelings.
"Nina, do you feel unwell anywhere else?" Mino asked anxiously.
Sal and Yanai both looked worried.
"No," she said softly. Then, hesitating, she asked, "You don’t think I’m ugly now?"
"Of course not," Mino said firmly. "No matter what you look like, you’re the most beautiful Nina to me."
"I’ll never dislike you," Sal said, his gaze deep and steady. "No matter how you look, my feelings won’t change."
Yanai shrugged lightly. "Why would we? You’re not even that ugly—just a little darker. If it bothers you, we’ll find a way to cure the poison later."
He had never cared much about appearances anyway. He liked her for who she was.
Nina hadn’t expected such unwavering reactions.
Warmth spread through her chest.
"Thank you," she murmured.
Still... it was only the beginning. She would keep watching.
***
After washing up, she caught Yinny and Didi running toward her. They paused for half a second at her changed appearance—but then bounded into her arms as usual, without the slightest hesitation.
Nina smiled, deeply touched.
Children never think their mother is ugly.
When she turned slightly away from the males’ view, she quietly removed the Illusion Face Stone.
Her face instantly returned to its original beauty.
Yinny and Didi stared wide-eyed.
Wow! Mother can change faces! That’s amazing!
