After Giving Birth, All My Beast Ex-Husbands Suddenly Want Me Back-Chapter 87: Neat freak
When Nina woke, she saw Odian already standing by the stove, busy preparing breakfast.
He had changed into a different beast-skin robe today. It was still white, but unlike yesterday’s simple design, this one was adorned with delicate patterns and refined embellishments. It looked far more luxurious and noble, yet retained a simple, elegant restraint.
He was focused on stir-frying at the stove. A faint smudge of ash had landed on his fair, handsome face, softening his ethereal air and lending him a touch of warm humanity that made him seem far more approachable.
"Nina, you’re awake." The moment he saw her, Odian’s face lit up with a smile. "Go wash up first. Breakfast will be ready soon."
"Alright, thanks." Nina smiled back and nodded.
By the time she finished washing, the dishes had already been set on the table—though the arrangement looked... rather odd.
In front of the seat she had used yesterday were several exquisitely prepared dishes. On the opposite side of the table, closer to the edge, sat many plates that looked noticeably rougher and more rustic.
Uh... why were the dishes placed so far apart?
Nina blinked in confusion.
Odian guided her gently to her seat. "Nina, I made these this morning. Would you like to try them?"
He sat beside her, eyes full of quiet anticipation.
Ridan and the others gathered around the table as well.
Nina took a bite of the dish in front of her and smiled. "It’s delicious."
At her praise, Odian’s heart leapt. "Then eat more."
Only after Nina began eating did Odian and the others pick up their utensils.
Ridan, seated on Nina’s side of the table, stretched his arm across, trying to reach the dishes placed opposite her. He couldn’t quite reach and looked tempted to stand up.
Nina glanced at him curiously. "Ridan, there are dishes on this side too. You can eat these."
He shook his head vigorously. "I—I prefer the ones over there."
He wouldn’t dare touch the High Priest’s personally prepared dishes.
"Then why don’t you move the plates closer? Why are they so far away?" Nina asked, puzzled.
Ridan and the others collectively turned to look at Odian.
Because the High Priest didn’t want you eating the food we made.
Odian coughed lightly. "You can move them closer."
Only then did Ridan and the others shift the dishes inward—though not by much.
At last, Ridan could reach the food.

After Yinny and Didi woke up and Nina fed them, they set off again to search for Sal and the others.
Just before departure, Odian suddenly asked, "Nina, would you like to experience a different kind of flying?"
He remembered his mother once telling him how much she had loved it when his father carried her through the skies. He didn’t know whether Nina liked that sort of thing—but he wanted to try.
"Huh?" Nina blinked. "Weren’t we flying yesterday?"
"It’s a different feeling," Odian explained softly.
"...Sure." Curiosity flickered in her eyes.
His face brightened at her agreement. "Would you like to be in front, or sit behind me?"
She thought for a moment. "In front."
"Alright."
After securing the cubs safely, Odian stepped behind her and gently wrapped his arms around her from behind, encircling her completely in his embrace.
Nina felt herself enveloped in his cool, refined scent.
The intimate posture made her cheeks warm slightly.
"Ready?" he murmured near her ear.
"Mm."
With that, Odian leapt into the sky, lifting them swiftly before leveling out into smooth flight.
This morning, the rain had stopped. Without the veil of mist, the mountains and rivers below stretched out clearly beneath them.
Nina gazed down at the breathtaking scenery, delight lighting her face. Yinny and Didi craned their little heads in every direction, thrilled beyond measure.
When they reached a broad lake, Odian suddenly dove downward in a swift arc.
The cubs, experiencing such a thrilling drop for the first time, squealed excitedly.
They skimmed lightly across the lake’s surface before soaring upward again.
Odian guided them through rises and dips, like a living roller coaster. The cubs were ecstatic.
They flew and played at the same time, though they didn’t neglect their purpose.
Held securely in Odian’s arms, Nina truly felt as if she were flying herself.
She couldn’t help feeling a little envious of winged beings—able to roam the skies so freely.
By the end of the morning, Yinny and Didi’s fondness for Odian had skyrocketed.
At noon, they landed to rest and prepare food.
Even after touching down, the cubs were still buzzing with excitement, gazing at Odian with bright, sparkling eyes that seemed to say: We want to fly like that again later.
Odian smiled faintly and told Nina and the cubs to rest while he and the others prepared lunch.
Soon, smoke rose gently into the air, bringing warmth and liveliness to the otherwise quiet forest.
Nina sat nearby with Yinny and Didi in her arms, watching Odian and the others work. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Odian and several males handled the cutting and preparation of meat and vegetables, while Ridan and the others built the stove and tended the fire.
Ridan accidentally dropped something while carrying supplies—it landed squarely in a muddy puddle.
Splash!
Dirty water sprayed upward, leaving two or three small yellow stains on Odian’s pristine white robe.
Odian glanced down at his garment.
His brows furrowed instantly. His expression darkened.
Ridan’s heart dropped.
I’m dead.
He and the others inhaled sharply.
Ridan was doomed. Not only had he stained the High Priest’s clothing—it was the outfit the High Priest had changed into ninety-nine times that morning before finally selecting it specifically for Nina.
Under Odian’s deadly stare, Ridan’s legs nearly gave out.
"M-my lord..."
Odian’s voice was cold. "You’ll handle all hunting duties this month."
"Yes, my lord."
Ridan accepted the punishment with a miserable expression. He didn’t dare argue. This was already merciful.
Odian changed into another robe, his brow still faintly creased.
From the side, Nina blinked.
So... Odian was a bit of a neat freak.
No wonder the cave had been spotless. Fortunately, she hadn’t stained his clothes yesterday.
Just as they resumed cooking, several beastly roars echoed from not far away.
Nina quickly gathered the cubs and hurried to Odian’s side.
He immediately moved her behind him protectively, his gaze sharp as he looked toward the source of the sound.
Ridan and several phoenix warriors took to the air to investigate.
Moments later, they saw several beastmen running frantically in their direction—with numerous magical beasts chasing behind them.
