After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!-Chapter 666 - 0259 Elegant Killer (Seeking Subscriptions)
At the hotel’s golf course, Huang Kaiwen "narrowly lost" to Capello.
Capello’s skills are decent among amateurs; he scored 84 over 18 holes, while Huang Kaiwen "scored" 87.
The two chatted and played casually, spending 5 hours on the course, and the 61-year-old Capello was still full of energy.
Walking ahead, Capello chuckled and said, "I’m out of practice; I’ve scored 77 before."
"Wow, that’s pretty good for someone as busy as you. With some practice, you could totally compete in the amateur tournaments,"
Huang Kaiwen exclaimed.
If Capello really could score 77, that would be quite impressive among amateur players.
"You’re pretty impressive too, having enough talent in so many sports. I’m certain you could become the world’s number one even without football,"
Capello said with a smile.
"Can’t say for sure without trying,"
Huang Kaiwen replied with a nod and a smile.
After leaving the course, Huang Kaiwen tossed the note handed to him by the caddy into a trash bin.
He returned to his room to freshen up and waited for a while.
Guti pushed the door open and said, "While we’re training, you’re playing golf with the coach. I’m used to it but still jealous of you, you bastard."
"You could also speak to the coach about it,"
Huang Kaiwen said with a laugh.
"Forget it, I need to work harder these days,"
Guti said, shaking his head.
Sneijder’s joining put a lot of pressure on him.
Although playing with Huang Kaiwen magnified his strengths, his weaknesses were not completely absent.
Last season, there were times when he wasn’t in good form, and Capello could replace him with Beckham, if not for Capello’s dislike for Beckham.
Sneijder, on the other hand, had never offended Capello.
"Let’s go, grab something to eat at the restaurant,"
Huang Kaiwen stood up and said.
"Let’s go, I’m quite hungry too,"
Guti agreed, nodding his head.
When the two arrived at the restaurant, many of their teammates were already dining.
"It’s much quieter in the restaurant today,"
Guti remarked, "With Sergio and Antonio absent, the team seems suddenly subdued."
Huang Kaiwen pointed at Marcelo, who was bragging to a few newcomers, and chuckled.
"That doesn’t count, he doesn’t come to sit with us,"
Guti said with a shake of his head.
"Maybe he’s afraid that sitting too close to you will make his butt hurt!"
Huang Kaiwen said laughingly.
"Piss off!"
Guti cursed with a laugh, punching Huang Kaiwen on the shoulder.
Then he noticed that the atmosphere in the restaurant was off, as the laughter abruptly stopped.
The newcomers, along with Pepe and De Jong, all turned to look at him; Guti felt like he was surrounded by a pack of wolves, ready to attack at the slightest provocation.
With an embarrassed smile, Guti raised his hands and said, "Just kidding, I didn’t hit hard."
The restaurant burst back into noise.
Without Cassano and Ramos, it indeed was much quieter.
After eating, everyone returned to their own rooms.
Huang Kaiwen turned on the TV; a French channel was interviewing an old couple who were Real Madrid fans.
The old man was around 70, thin, with an oxygen tube in his nose, dragging an oxygen tank with his suitcase.
The old lady looked a bit younger and was probably his wife.
The host asked in Spanish, "What is your name?"
"Angel."
"Is this an oxygen tank?"
"Yes."
The old lady added, "He has severe lung disease and has difficulty speaking."
"Are you here in Monaco to support Sevilla or Real Madrid?" the host asked.
"Madrid, it has to be Madrid!"
The old man said with a laugh, "I am a Madridista, to the core, the kind that won’t leave the team unless I’m dead."
"How long have you been supporting Real Madrid at the stadium?"
"25 or 30 years; back when I didn’t have money, I’d watch the games on TV."
"So your health... you can’t get too excited, right?"
the host asked.
"Not usually, but when it’s against Atletico Madrid or Barca, I do get fired up!"
he said animatedly with his hands and feet.
You could tell he was a true Madridista, getting excited at the mere mention of his rivals’ names.
The host then turned the microphone towards the old lady and asked, "Do you always watch the games together?"
"Yes, we are Real Madrid members and go to the matches whenever we have time."
"And your name is?"
"Begonia."
"So you will accompany him, wherever he goes?"
"Yes, until the end of the world."
"That’s very touching, thank you, Angel and Begonia. With the UEFA Super Cup approaching, many Real Madrid fans have come to Monaco, and today we’ve heard a touching story,"
the host said with a smile.
The little old man, waving his skinny arms, shouted, "Kevin, we are the champions, Kevin, we are the champions..."
"I feel like I am looking at my future self,"
Guti said.
"Don’t worry, you are unlikely to get lung disease,"
Huang Kaiwen added, "And besides, the person with you might be a man!"
"Bastard, I’ll kill you!"
Guti roared, swinging a pillow at Huang Kaiwen.
Huang Kaiwen executed a swift carp flip to dodge and quickly rolled off the bed, sprang up from the ground.
Ducking once more to avoid Guti’s pillow, he swiftly moved behind him and kicked Guti’s buttocks, then he jammed his elbow into Guti’s back.
The combination of moves was smooth as running water, giving Guti no chance to resist.
"Bastard, let go if you dare!"
Guti struggled while pinned down on the bed.
"Stay put, buddy,"
Huang Kaiwen said with a laugh, tapping the side of Guti’s leg with his tiptoes.
These were the maneuvers he had developed while fooling around with classmates in primary school.
In the beginning, Guti remained tough, but after being tapped continuously for a while, Guti finally begged for mercy.
