Anyway, writing project proposals for herself to approve felt...interesting, that was for sure. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

It did help her make her own plans concrete, and the execution more solid, though.

Her suggestion was a botanical garden, and it didn’t surprise anyone.

Basically, the botanical garden would be a giant (and beautified) greenhouse. They would be displaying different biomes there and showing the different plants they had managed to plant or ’tame’.

There would also be names and descriptions on plaques made of special wood by Houser, the signage woodmaster. As for the content, they limited it to basic use (particularly if it could get dangerous), and some sensitive information would naturally be kept hidden.

These were all for education, whether for people going on adventures or for people doing plant studies or pharmacy. They survived so long in this cruel world; it would be a pity to die because they ate or touched the wrong thing.

Also, the dome itself would be designed to be so beautiful that it would become a major tourist attraction, regardless of whether the guest wanted to read the information, which would ultimately add to the overall wealth of Alterra.

That said, they decided that the entrance fee would not be too cheap in terms of money (and would target tourists more), but would be more affordable if paid for in contribution points.

As people gained more and more contribution points, the territory naturally had to keep up, add more perks to spend on, to inspire them all even more.

As for Garan’s idea, it was...a large and extremely difficult obstacle course.

It was the type that was shown in reality shows back in Terran, where there was a huge spinning rod one had to jump over, tall towers one had to climb, hang themselves on hanging rings, and so on.

Of course, with their improved physiques in this world, the obstacles were made extremely difficult and based on level. It would also be designed to be difficult for whatever level bracket they were.

The goal was to challenge, after all.

For example, the wheels they had to balance themselves on were actually abnormally fast. To balance, they’d not only have to be able to run faster than the wheel, but they’d also need to keep their balance the entire time.

Another, the hanging rings would vary in height and swing. They’d also moved randomly. This would train reflexes and foresight.

There were also rock climbing walls that sharply inclined inwards, requiring a lot of strength to traverse quickly. There were also some dolls or weights zipping to and fro at random spots, showing the person’s coordination, strength, and alertness.

Ansel made a few tweaks and added a large entrance fee (which was also more affordable if contribution points were used), but there would also be a prize for whoever beat it and won the record.

The prizes could range from vouchers for the Contribution Shop or the specialty stores, a personal lesson from an expert in their profession, and the like. There was also a hall of fame, which was arguably one of the better prizes.

Ansel would also submit his own proposal as well, and his was just an extreme sports center including difficult rock climbing walls, laser tag arenas, paintball arenas, and so on.

They would double as training areas, too.

Hey, maybe they’d get guns within a few years. Might as well start training people...

Then again, many aborigines did wonder what was so fun about climbing walls, but well.

"Have you thought of anything yet?" Gru asked Mathilda, who was walking next to him.

"I’m not sure if it’s because I’m getting old, but I’m getting really confused about what to pick. Should I get my staff to help me out? That’s allowed, right?"

Gru was quite the gregarious old man, while Mathilda was a bit more strict and gentle. Sometimes, when people looked at them, it reminded them of a graceful owner and her old but energetic dog...

"Yes, we can ask for help," she said. "My staff are already preparing for it, in fact."

Gru was the type to be easily impressed. "Oh my! Foresight, as always, Lady!" he said, clapping his hands. He had been spending time racking his old brain, but he really lacked the creativity of the youngins.

Mathilda chuckled. "How are the farms?"

"Swell."

"Still digging yourself?" she asked. Gru was very hands-on. People would often see him full of mud, planting rice himself.

Gru smiled, proudly rubbing his nose. "Makes me feel closer to my plants, you see."

Mathilda shook her head and just continued walking, looking around, and also listening to people’s comments, wondering if they also had their own wishes and if she could get inspiration from those.

On an adjacent street, Volohov was also doing the same thing. He was going around with his wife when they encountered Rosalind. It seemed like they were all thinking of the same things: to determine what their proposal would be.

The best way to do so was to find the current needs, which was why they were listening to the population, asking questions, and making casual inquiries.

They did not know when the next time they’d be asked about a pet project would be. Not to mention, these projects would be associated with their name and reputation as long as they stood, so the Ministers naturally took this very seriously.

Volohov had also asked his people to do case studies about which specialty center they should build. Heart center? Neurology? Orthopedic? Who knows. Their physique changed so much that Terran common sense no longer applied.

On the other hand, Rosalind...was proposing a university.

At first, it was just a school for teachers. After all, their population was increasing, and the number of classes was as well. Then she thought she might as well go all out and start a university for future generations.

At some point, she realized that the vocational lectures were not enough for some people. Hence, more targeted courses would be needed, so this idea expanded to other industries as well.

What Rosalind was studying now was which courses to prioritize and possibly find an expert to teach them.

Liana, Dr. Volohov’s wife, chatted with her a lot about her own observations. They ended up ignoring the doctor a lot though, and the man could only sigh and continue to observe.

It was around this time that they reached an intersection, coming across another pair of Elders.

Gru sparkled as he looked at his friend. "Oh! Volly!!"

Volohov: "..."

In fact, Gru had been planning on dragging this guy out after work hours. It was good to see him out and about a little earlier than usual.

The agriculturist grabbed the man’s shoulder. "Clutch got good alcohol from Lady Althea," he said. "It was apparently a reward for improving equipment."

"What?"

Lady Althea’s alcohol was super rare! It was handmade by her, after all. They were fermented in her own system farms and especially enhanced with her wood ability.

Other wood users tried to imitate the quality but simply could not, making Lady Althea’s handmade alcohol even more prestigious.

Knowing this, Althea decided to add it to the list of premium rewards, one that could not be bought with money or even contribution points.

At this, the old men practically disappeared, leaving the women behind.

"You young girls have fun~" they said, and disappeared to the other street.
