Aísē: My Five Supernatural Wives-Chapter 113: Christmas Special !
Valerian blinked, momentarily disoriented as he took in the festive scene before him.
The living room of his mansion was adorned with twinkling lights, holly garlands, and a towering Christmas tree that reached nearly to the ceiling.
His wives - Eleanor, Liliana, Iris, Alicia, Eva, and Aisha - were all present, seated comfortably on the plush couches.
"I...why am I here?" he asked slowly, his brow furrowing in confusion. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
He glanced around at the familiar faces of his beloved partners, trying to recall how he had ended up in this situation.
Eleanor paused in her task of decorating the tree to smile warmly at him.
"What do you mean, darling? It’s Christmas! Of course we’re celebrating together," she said gently, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. Valerian hesitated, momentarily forgetting his initial surprise as he took in the joyful atmosphere."
Valerian nodded slowly, the fog of confusion lifting from his mind as he settled onto the couch beside Liliana. The succubus demoness smiled at him, her purple eyes sparkling with warmth and affection.
"Merry Christmas, sweetheart," she murmured, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to his cheek.
He returned the smile, feeling the tension drain from his shoulders as he relaxed into the comforting presence of his wives.
Iris, curled up on a nearby armchair with a steaming mug of cocoa in her hands, grinned mischievously. "You know, I never thought I’d see the day when Valerian would forget about Christmas," she teased lightly. Alicia chuckled from where she was helping Eva string popcorn garlands. "Well, he has been a bit distracted lately," she remarked sagely. Her gaze flicked briefly to Aisha, who sat quietly in the corner with a small smile playing at her lips. her slender fingers deftly working a pair of knitting needles.
Valerian followed her gaze...
’Aisha’s knitting a doll?’ Valerian realised what she was doing.
The soft clicking of the needles filled the air as she crafted a tiny doll, its features slowly taking shape under her skilled hands. It was a doll of baby Jesus, complete with swaddling clothes and a halo made from golden thread - a fitting creation for the saintess to labor over on Christmas Eve.
Valerian’s gaze lingered on her for a moment, taking in the serene expression on her face as she worked.
It was moments like these that reminded him just how diverse and wonderful his family truly was - a motley collection of demons, humans, and saints all gathered together in harmony.
Iris noticed his gaze and followed it to Aisha with a soft smile. "She’s been at that for hours," she remarked quietly."Says it brings her peace to create something beautiful for the holiday."
Eleanor glanced over at Aisha’s handiwork and shrugged, her expression indifferent."Well, she’s a saintess," she murmured, as if that explained everything.Which, in a way, it did.
Aisha was the only one among Valerian’s wives who held any sort of allegiance to the Church or its teachings. The rest - Eleanor, Liliana, Iris, Alicia, and Eva - were all supernatural beings who had various reasons for opposing or simply not caring about the Church’s influence.Iris sighed softly, setting her mug of cocoa aside.
"I suppose it’s nice that she finds comfort in her faith," she said diplomatically."Even if the rest of us don’t quite understand it."Liliana snorted derisively from where she was lounging on the couch beside Valerian.
"Faith is for the weak-minded,"she declared bluntly. Her gaze flicked briefly to Aisha before returning to her husband with a smirk which widened into a sultry grin as she leaned in closer to Valerian, her voice dropping to a husky whisper."I only believe in my charms and the fact that I’ll have my husband all to myself tonight," she purred, her purple eyes gleaming with mischief and desire.Valerian raised an eyebrow at her bold declaration, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"Is that so?" he murmured, his own gaze darkening with interest."And what exactly did you have planned for our private time together?"Liliana’s grin turned positively wicked as she trailed a finger down his chest.
"Oh, I have all sorts of ideas," she breathed teasingly. "But I think it’s best if I show you instead of telling you." She leaned in even closer, her lips brushing against his ear as she whispered something too low for the others to hear.
Iris frowned, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked between Valerian and Liliana with a pout."Hey, I thought we agreed on a ceasefire tonight," she complained, her voice tinged with jealousy and frustration. Eleanor, seated nearby, only glared at the succubus demoness, her eyes flashing with irritation.
"Liliana, don’t you dare start something,"she warned sharply. "We all agreed to keep the peace tonight for Christmas."Liliana rolled her eyes dramatically, but pulled back slightly from Valerian with a sigh.
"Fine, fine," she muttered begrudgingly."No seducing the husband... for now." She settled back against the couch, but kept a possessive arm wrapped around Valerian’s waist.Alicia cleared her throat loudly from across the room.
"Perhaps we should focus on more festive activities," she suggested diplomatically."Like opening presents or singing carols?" Eva nodded eagerly beside her.
"How about a game?" Eva suggested brightly, sensing the growing tension in the room.
"That could be a fun way to celebrate Christmas together!"Aisha looked up from her knitting, her eyes lighting up at the idea."A game sounds lovely," she agreed softly.
"Something that encourages camaraderie and teamwork would be wonderful."Liliana perked up at the suggestion, her competitive nature piqued."I’m in," she declared, her earlier pout forgotten.
"How about Truth or Dare? It’s a classic for a reason." Eleanor scoffed, rolling her eyes."Really, Liliana? On Christmas Eve?"But Iris clapped her hands excitedly."Oh! I know! We could play ’Secret Santa’!" she exclaimed. "Each of us draws a name and buys a gift for that person. It’ll be so much fun to see who gets what!"
Valerian nodded, a warm smile spreading across his face as he looked around at his wives. "That sounds perfect," he murmured, his eyes shining with affection.
"Secret Santa is a wonderful idea, Iris. It’ll be a great way to celebrate the holiday spirit of giving and sharing. "Aisha set her knitting aside and stood up, moving to join the others in the center of the room."I think it’s a splendid notion," sheagreed, her gentle smile lighting up her features.
"We can draw names now and set a budget for our gifts."Eleanor reluctantly put aside her irritation, standing up as well."Alright, let’s do this," she said briskly.
"But let’s make it interesting. Whoever draws my name gets an extra challenge - they have to wrap their gift in the most ridiculous way possible. "Liliana laughed, already looking forward to the task. "You’re on," she agreed mischievously.
As the evening wore on, the living room filled with laughter and joy as Valerian and his wives engaged in their Secret Santa game. They drew names, set budgets, and began brainstorming gift ideas for their assigned partners. Iris bounced excitedly as she wrote down her ideas, her eyes sparkling with creativity.
Alicia and Eva huddled together, whispering and giggling as they plotted their perfect present.
Even Eleanor seemed to be getting into the spirit, her earlier annoyance forgotten as she contemplated her extra wrapping challenge.
Aisha moved quietly among them, offering gentle suggestions and admiring each idea with sincere enthusiasm.Valerian watched his wives with a heart full of love, marveling at the way they had come together to create such a wonderful atmosphere despite their differences.
This was what Christmas was all about - love, laughter, and the simple joy of being together.
As the night grew late and the others retired to their rooms, Eleanor and Valerian slipped out into the cold, starry night. They walked hand in hand through the snow-covered gardens of the mansion, their breaths misting in the frigid air.
Eleanor’s grip tightened suddenly on Valerian’s shirt, pulling him to a stop beneath a towering evergreen tree adorned with twinkling lights. She looked up at him, her cheeks flushed from more than just the cold.
"Have you...have you thought of it?" she asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Our child’s name..."She bit her lip nervously, searching his face for a reaction."I know it’s early, and we haven’t even...but I can’t help imagining what our little one might be like." Her eyes shone with a mix of hope and vulnerability in the soft glow of the Christmas lights.
Valerian paused, taken aback by Eleanor’s sudden question. He searched her face, seeing the vulnerability and longing in her eyes. Slowly, he closed the distance between them and pressed his lips to hers in a gentle, tender kiss.He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer as he deepened the kiss.
His teeth grazed her neck lightly, eliciting a soft gasp from the vampire woman. His voice was low and husky as he murmured against her skin,
"I’ve thought about it...our child’s name...and so much more." He pulled back slightly to look into her eyes, his own burning with love and desire. "But for now...let’s focus on creating a warm home for that little miracle first." Eleanor’s breath hitched at his words, a shiver of anticipation running down her spine. She nodded silently, leaning into him as they stood there beneath the twinkling lights, lost in their own little world.
