All My Superpowers Come from the Law of Causality-Chapter 34: The Situation Has Changed
Lening City North District.
Fang Mengzhu drove her red sports car, opened the sunroof, letting the strong wind blow through her silky hair. She was spirited all the way, a sweet smile of happiness occasionally appearing at the corners of her mouth, she was utterly delighted.
The vehicle drove into a luxurious villa district.
It stopped in a large estate covering at least eight hundred square meters in the central area.
As she pushed open the door and walked in, her mother, Han Danfeng, had already heard of her return and was coming down the spiral staircase.
"Mom!"
"You’re back."
Han Danfeng glanced at her daughter, seeing her face glowing, with a smile that couldn’t be stopped, her heart was completely clear.
Fang Mengzhu, however, didn’t notice her mother’s gaze, seemingly still immersed in the sweet and happy emotions. She walked up, intimately wrapping her mother’s arm, giggling:
"Mom, why are you up so early?"
Han Danfeng helplessly tapped her forehead with a finger: "You silly girl, haven’t you woken up yet? Do you know what time it is? Besides, don’t you remember I have to get up every morning to do yoga?"
"Hehe, I forgot."
Fang Mengzhu said with a coquettish face.
"Still thinking about your boyfriend, huh?"
"Yeah... No, I just didn’t think of that right away."
Fang Mengzhu instinctively admitted it but quickly realized, her face blushing, she acted coquettishly to her mother.
She didn’t dare admit in front of her mother that she was indeed still indulged in the pleasure with Su Xin, her mind unconsciously recalling those scenes, to the point of speaking absentmindedly.
Just then.
The door was pushed open again.
Fang Keyi walked in, looking tired.
"Honey, you’re back."
"Dad, morning!"
The two greeted each other.
Fang Keyi curiously looked at the intimately linked mother and daughter, only to find his daughter exceptionally beautiful today, with an extraordinarily bright smile. Most importantly, his daughter even took the initiative to greet him, which was a bit unusual.
He curiously observed Fang Mengzhu for a while, making her act coyly:
"Dad, why are you staring at me?"
Fang Keyi felt even stranger and asked:
"Did something happen at home today? Why are you so happy?"
To prevent her mother from slipping up, Fang Mengzhu hurriedly replied: "Nothing, I just had a nice dream last night, so I’m very happy."
"Really?"
Fang Keyi looked at her with skepticism, but he was too exhausted from the previous night, only having slept for three or four hours. Not wanting to think too much, he just greeted and went upstairs to catch up on sleep.
After he went up, Han Danfeng inquired about the meeting, to which Fang Mengzhu quickly explained in a low voice:
"Meeting isn’t a problem, but Su Xin said he might be busy today, so we’ll arrange a specific time tomorrow. I’ll ask him again tomorrow."
Han Danfeng looked at her daughter in surprise:
"When did you become so obedient? Shouldn’t I be the one deciding about the meeting? At least I should have a say, right? Why does it seem like everything depends on him?"
Fang Mengzhu shook her mother’s arm, acting coyly: "Mom, he really has something to do, let’s arrange it next time, okay?"
"What does he do? Why’s he so busy?"
"He’s..."
Fang Mengzhu hesitated for a while but decided to follow Su Xin’s suggestion and said truthfully:
"He’s a student."
"How old is he? Which university?"
"Six... Sixteen, Lening No. 3 High School."
"What?!! Sixteen..."
Han Danfeng’s eyes widened in shock.
Seeing her mother so loud, Fang Mengzhu quickly covered her mouth, nervously reminding:
"Mom! Keep it down!"
Han Danfeng swatted her daughter’s hand away, looking at her in disbelief, whispered:
"Sixteen? A high school student?"
"Yes... yes."
Fang Mengzhu nodded awkwardly.
Han Danfeng could only feel her mind in chaos.
Her mischievous and willful daughter had been strictly disciplined by her father for so many years, always holding onto her virtues with high standards, dismissing this one and that one. At twenty-two, she had never had any intimate relationship with a boy, yet now, she’s charmed into bed by a sixteen-year-old high schooler? And seems to obey him completely, utterly attached to him.
What kind of high schooler can conquer my headstrong daughter?
"Mom, don’t underestimate his age. He’s actually quite mature, he... he..."
Fang Mengzhu couldn’t think of how to praise him for a while. After all, she hasn’t known Su Xin for very long and didn’t really understand him yet.
In her eyes, Su Xin seemed mature, not timid like most high schoolers, but a bit of a rogue, a bit of a rascal. Is it that she likes Su Xin being a rogue rascal?
Or maybe she just likes that Su Xin is handsome and good in bed?
"Anyway, he’s really nice."
Fang Mengzhu could only say this.
Han Danfeng finally came around, hearing Fang Mengzhu’s words, she rolled her eyes: "Then be specific, what’s so nice about him that makes you ignore the age gap to be with a sixteen-year-old high schooler... huh?"
Fang Mengzhu blushed but said firmly: "Mom, you don’t understand. Anyway, I think he’s wonderful, so I’m with him."
She definitely couldn’t say she was confused and tricked into bed by Su Xin, she would be laughed at by her mother, or her parents might have someone deal with Su Xin.
Neither option was acceptable to her.
Han Danfeng helplessly shook her head.
She knew too well, there’s no reasoning with girls in love, the more obstructed, the more her daughter might become rebellious.
"Let’s not worry about it for now. When you set up a time to meet him, let me know, I’ll help you assess him. I want to see what kind of outstanding young guy makes you so fearless."
"Okay... By the way, Mom, you must not mention this to Dad, or I won’t trust you anymore in the future."
"Don’t worry, I won’t deceive you."
Han Danfeng left with a sigh.
...
In a bedroom on the second floor.
Fang Keyi was just about to enter the bathroom when he heard his wife’s scream from downstairs: "What?!! Sixteen..."
"What’s all the fuss about?"
Fang Keyi frowned, initially intending to go out and have a look, but thought better of it, stepped into the bathroom, took a hot shower, then comfortably lay down on the bed, closed his eyes.
Soon, he fell asleep.
Who knows how long passed before Fang Keyi was startled awake by the sudden ringing of his phone. He quickly turned and picked up the phone, glancing at the caller ID.
It was an unfamiliar number.
His expression turned serious as he chose to answer.
"Hello, who is this?"
"I’m not looking for anyone special, just a casual chat."
"Let’s talk tomorrow."
After another round of inexplicable opening lines, the person on the other end of the line said sternly:
"I am Volcano, there’s a change in situation, find a safe place to take the call immediately."
