Chapter 91: Caught.

**Razor**

"Good morning, sir." Isabella’s arms wrapped around my waist as I stepped foot inside the living room. I smiled, breathing in her lovely scent.

"Hello, my sweetheart." I pulled her hands away and made her face me. "You look so beautiful this morning."

"That’s because I heard you had a swell time last night." Her cheeks blushed bright red.

"I’m glad you did, baby. Where’s Nathan?"

"He’s sleeping upstairs." I noticed her lips tightened a bit.

"Is there a problem?"

"No, sir. I know you wanted to play with him."

I chuckled. "It’s not as if he’s going to disappear or something." I pulled her arm as we walked outside the mansion.

"I’ll miss you." She pouted, placing her head on my shoulder.

"I won’t be gone for long, baby, I promise." I patted her rosy cheek softly. "I just need to take care of some matters."

"Yes, sir. I’ll be waiting."

"I hope you aren’t worried about that bitch, Tara?"

She furrowed her brows. "I understand that you have to do everything to help Cross."

"I’ll make them pay for what they did to your parents, I promise," I said to her, caressing her face softly.

"I know you will."

I leaned forward and kissed her lips softly, pulling her closely. My little wife tasted so sweet as usual; it took all I had within me to pull away.

"Why did you stop?" she muttered shyly.

"It seems as though you didn’t learn your lesson last night," I teased, pushing strands of hair from her face. "You’re so adorable."

She smiled. "Thank you."

"Alright, I have to go now. Tell Nathan I love him so much." I pecked her lips again.

"I will," she nodded. "Stay safe, Razor." She waved at me as I got into the car.

I knew she was rightfully mad at Tara and wanted revenge, but I was also glad that she cared enough about Cross to put aside those feelings. That was my Isabella, my beautiful and kind queen.

I arrived at the location with Dean and Chris early, intent on monitoring when Tara would show up. We went upstairs and entered the room, finding it in the same position as when we left it after taking Lisa.

After interrogating Lisa the previous day, I had noticed she seemed to have developed feelings for Cross, though I remained skeptical about her intentions, considering she was Damon’s sister.

"Go outside and wait for Tara," I ordered Chris and Dean, settling into a chair near the window. "I don’t want you to miss her when she shows up."

"Yes sir," they chorused, preparing to leave. However, I called Chris back before he could go far.

"Yes boss?" Chris inquired, bowing slightly.

"I hope you’ve gotten over whatever feelings you had for that bitch," I said sternly.

"Yes sir," Chris replied earnestly. "I swear boss, I don’t have any attachments to her."

"Alright then," I motioned with my hand for Chris to leave, hoping that Chris was being truthful. If Chris ever betrayed me again, I knew I wouldn’t be able to forgive him.

I took out a cigarette from my pocket and lit it up with my lighter, the flame casting a dim glow in the room. As I rested my back on the chair, exhaling a cloud of smoke, my mind wandered to Cross. I needed to know how he was doing so badly.

But first, I needed to ensure that Tara didn’t slip through our fingers. She was the priority now, and I couldn’t afford any distractions. My phone suddenly began to ring. I dipped my hand inside my pocket and took out the phone, seeing Dean’s name flashing on the screen.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Boss, we’ve sighted her, she’s approaching the building right now," he announced.

"Okay, make sure you monitor her closely," I told him. "I don’t want her to slip away."

"Yes sir," Dean replied before ending the call.

I cut the call and stood beside the door, my heart racing with anticipation. There was a possibility that she could pick up my scent, but I hoped the smell of the cigarette would confuse her. I needed to ensure that Tara didn’t escape this time.but right now, she had little chance of escaping. It was only a matter of time before we would have her in our grasp.

The click of heels began to suddenly echo loudly, and I knew instantly that it was Tara. After a few moments, she stood in front of the door, hesitating, probably trying to be sure if it was safe to enter.

"Lisa," she called in a quiet tone. "Lisa, are you in there?"

My lips curved in a smile; it was time. I reached for the doorknob and opened the door, coming face to face with her.

"Hello, Tara," I called in a smirk. "We meet again."

"Razor?" Her mouth fell open in shock. "How did you..." She trailed off, fear consuming her as she stepped backward cautiously.

"Come here," I grabbed her arm and pulled her inside the room. Just then, Dean and Chris joined us both.

"On your knees," I ordered her, taking a drag from my cigarette, the smoke swirling around me.

She hesitated out of fear, but one look from me made her drop to her knees.

"Boss, please, I can explain..." she began sobbing. "Please give me the chance to explain, I beg."

I ignored her, taking a closer look at her. She had lost quite a bit of weight, and she had cut her hair short.

"We know everything," I began, throwing the cigarette on the floor. "But I’d love to hear it from your own lips."

"Yes...yes sir," she nodded fearfully, her eyes darting to Chris. "I’ll tell you everything...but I’m sorry for running away... I’m sorry..."

"Shut the fuck up!" I pointed at her. "I don’t want to hear it. Honestly, I don’t care about that anymore. Now tell me, where were you coming from?"

"From...the..." she trailed off, yelping in pain as I smacked her hard across the right cheek.

"I’m not fucking joking around," I warned coldly. "If I ask you something, you had better reply immediately."

"Yes sir..." she cried, holding her bruised cheek.

"Now tell me, where did you come from?"

"From the pack house....your pack house," she replied, her body trembling all over.

"What are you doing there?"

"I stay there with beta Tom."

"Why?" I probed further.

"Because... he’s forcing me to," she choked on a sob. "He has my father."

"Didn’t you say your father died?" my brow raised in question.

"I’m... sorry sir... I lied," she leaned backwards, afraid I might slap her again.

And to be fair, it took all I had not to actually slap her hard. As usual, she lied to me.

"Where was he hiding all this while?" I asked, taking a seat in front of her.

"In Canada," she muttered, biting her lips. "It was alpha... I mean, beta Tom who helped him escape there."

"Oh damn!" That bastard Tom had been a snake all this while. It was becoming clear; he probably conspired with the Mafia to kill my parents.

"He... was also in with the Mafia from the beginning... he was the one who suggested they kill your parents," she confirmed what I was thinking.

"Did he want the throne of the alpha so badly that he killed his own brother along with his wife?" I sneered angrily. "I swear I’ll kill that bastard."

"I’m so sorry, boss.... I..."

"What about Cross?" I cut her off, raking a hand across my hair. "What about my little brother?"

"He’s... actually not doing fine," she shook her head. "Beta Tom tortures him from time to time, but honestly, he’s very strong. He hasn’t succeeded in breaking him."

I took in a deep breath; I had to be calm for Cross’s sake. She said he was strong; that was some good news. But the part about the torture, I couldn’t get it off my head.

"I’m going to fucking kill that bastard," I gritted out angrily. "And you’re going to help me, Tara."

She nodded. "I’ll do anything you say." 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

"You’re going back there, and you’re going to act as though nothing happened," I began. "You’ll be giving me information about the happenings around the pack, specifically Tom."

"Yes sir."

I motioned for Chris to hand her the phone. "We’ll keep in touch through this," I handed it to her. "Make sure you keep it safe."

"I will," she nodded, glancing at the burner phone.

I leaned over and grabbed her hair roughly, forcing her gaze to meet mine. "If you ever betray me again, I’ll boil your fucking body in hot oil, after cutting out some tender parts of your body, of course," I sneered at her, causing her eyes to widen in fear.

"I won’t, I swear... please," she nodded her head vigorously, tears slipping from her eyes.

"Good girl," I stood up from the chair. "We have a deal."
