Am I a crispy college student? The whole internet says that I'm hard to kill!-Chapter 582 - 581 Pleading
After talking with the doctor, Wu Bin rested for a while.
When he woke up again, he saw two strangers peeking through the hallway, trying to get a look at him inside the room.
In almost an instant, Wu Bin became alert, sitting up in bed and glancing at the two people outside.
"Who are you? Why are you outside my ward?"
Moreover, his ward number was clearly displayed on the door, so there was no chance of them mistaking the room. They must have come on purpose.
Could they be emissaries sent by that person?
Thinking of this, Wu Bin's expression darkened.
He hit the call button by his bed, and the doctor and nurses hurried over.
The nurse thought something had happened to Wu Bin and arrived panting, out of breath.
Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he noticed the two people standing at the door, unwilling to leave. He quickly scolded them, "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
"Don't you know the patient has just recovered and needs rest? Whatever it is, you need to leave."
Due to the previous commotion, the nurse was well aware of Wu Bin's ordeal.
Wu Bin had been in the hospital for quite some time, and these two had never visited him, indicating they weren't close.
The nurse walked into the room, gesturing firmly to the two at the door,
"Leave, leave now. The patient cannot have visitors at this time."
"We just wanted to ask Wu Bin for a favor, it's just a simple request. How is that disturbing?"
Initially, the two people at the door had wanted to stay quietly, but being driven away by the nurse, they couldn't hold their composure and erupted in anger.
"Nurse, just do your job. Why are you treating us like this? We are much older than you, how can you be so rude?"
Speaking so self-righteously, they rendered the nurse speechless. She looked back at Wu Bin in the room.
Soon, Wu Bin met her gaze, noticing her uncertainty. He got out of bed, lifting the covers.
Bringing in the nurse and doctor, he then shut the door forcefully in the face of the two outside.
They were now isolated from the two strangers outside.
The nurse and doctor sighed in relief. The doctor checked on Wu Bin, and upon finding no issues with his condition, joyfully congratulated him.
"You've recuperated well. Who would have thought a good sleep could restore you almost back to normal."
"You can probably be discharged tomorrow or the day after. Rest assured, our hospital will keep certain people out, and we can also keep the ward door shut if you prefer."
The doctor's words helped Wu Bin feel at ease. He nodded in response, even as cries began outside.
The two people outside were wailing loudly, making a scene worthy of a tragedy to an unknowing ear.
Their shouts for Wu Bin and the loud banging of heads against the floor caught the doctor's and nurse's shocked attention.
Not expecting such shameless behavior, the nurse looked back at Wu Bin, doubting his ability to handle the situation.
"I should go chase them off, or maybe call the hospital security…"
The nurse spoke, opening the door to the hallway.
Wu Bin and the doctor remained inside, listening to the nurse reason with the two people outside.
"What are you doing here anyway? Your son made a mistake, and you want Wu Bin's forgiveness, but you can't do it this way!"
"It was your own son who did wrong, asking for forgiveness, you shouldn't use such forceful means!"
"Now I understand why your son acts so unruly; it's inherited."
Her direct words hit a nerve, and the two exploded, pointing fingers at the nurse.
"What does it matter to you what we do? You're just a nurse, do your job and don't meddle, or you'll regret it!"
"Do you believe we wouldn't report you? You haven't been working here long, right? You need this job, don't you? If we keep reporting you, how long do you think you can keep it?"
Terrified by their aggression, the nurse fell silent, unsure of what to do next for fear of losing her job.
Suddenly, the door behind opened, and Wu Bin, with a cold stare, faced the two outside. He signaled to the doctor and nurse to leave.
The doctor, worried the nurse might suffer further misfortune, quickly pulled her away.
"Dr. Zhang, did you see how ferocious those two people were? Leaving Wu Bin alone to face them, who knows what might happen."
The nurse tried to go back to help, but the doctor tugged her arm, cautioning, "Don't get yourself involved, let's call security instead."
Fearing the threat of being reported, the nurse agreed, and they called for hospital security.
Meanwhile, the two in the hallway had shifted their focus to Wu Bin. Their earlier commotion had attracted quite an audience.

Wu Bin looked at them, their devious expressions visible. He sneered coldly,
"Now that no one else is here, let me be clear: your son and brother are getting what they deserve."
"In my opinion, their punishment is too light."
"If you want to escalate it, I have no objections."
"How could we escalate it? Aren't you the one to stop internet hounding?"
"You can't just tell those people online to give my son a break?"
The middle-aged woman, seeing Wu Bin's refusal, was enraged, raising a finger to his face.
Persisting as Wu Bin did, she lunged forward, clawing at him with speed and force.
Onlookers, witnessing the woman's behavior, were taken aback.
One in the crowd shook their head, their voice filled with sympathy for Wu Bin.
"Wu Bin's really unlucky to be entangled with people like this. Where are the security guards?"
