On Monday, May 26, 1992, Wataru sat cross-legged on his bedroom floor, his ZEPS controller gripped tightly in his hands, a bowl of instant noodles sitting forgotten, slowly cooling beside him. School had dragged by unbearably slowly that day, each tick of the clock amplifying his anticipation to finally dive into Megami Tensei. His best friend Endo had excitedly rambled about Ninja Gaiden 2, but Wataru only listened half-heartedly—he appreciated Ninja Gaiden, having enjoyed the first installment immensely, yet RPGs were the genre that truly resonated with him. Wataru fondly recalled the countless hours he'd invested into Dragon Quest, his first RPG game, several months prior. The immersive storytelling and strategic gameplay had forever solidified role-playing games as his favorite genre. Wataru can`t play on weekend ZAGE May release due to family trip and Missing the initial release weekend due to a family trip had been highly frustrating, but now, uninterrupted, he felt a rush of excitement surge through him.

"I wonder what kind of RPG this is going to be," Wataru murmured with eager curiosity, carefully examining the Megami Tensei box art. "Phantasy Star already set the bar incredibly high." His gaze lingered on the captivating image of the male and female protagonists embracing, a mysterious and foreboding blue humanoid figure looming menacingly in the background. Intrigued, he opened the box to reveal the familiar contents: the game cartridge, a detailed game manual, the colorful ZEPS WOW booklet, and an intriguing Zabo-man card. Curiously, he picked up the card and read aloud, "I'll be one of them and follow you if you can recruit me." Raising an eyebrow, he chuckled lightly, intrigued. "One of them? What does that imply? But well I guess Zabo-man is recruitable this time around—fascinating!"

Eagerly, he inserted the cartridge into his trusty ZEPS console, feeling a thrill as the familiar startup beep echoed through his quiet room. Selecting 'Start' from the main menu, he leaned forward expectantly as an engaging 8-bit cutscene unfolded on-screen. The narrative introduced Akemi Nakajima, a brilliant yet socially isolated high school programmer who harbored deep resentment towards classmates who persistently bullied and ostracized him. Driven by revenge, Nakajima created a revolutionary and dangerous computer program capable of summoning demons from another dimension. However, his vengeance-fueled ambitions spiraled quickly out of control, unleashing Loki, the malevolent and chaotic Norse god, into the human realm.

"Whoa, this story is seriously intense," Wataru exclaimed, shivering slightly at the thought. "Summoning demons digitally? That's genuinely creepy!"

As the compelling narrative concluded, The scene shift to assigned attribute to two Characters Nakajima and Yumeko , Wataru meticulously assigned balanced attributes—strength, agility, wisdom, attack, and luck, Yumeko is a compassionate classmate whose mysterious spiritual powers would prove essential in combating the unleashed demonic forces. With character stats carefully balanced, Wataru eagerly plunged into the game's richly detailed dungeons, immediately appreciating the impressive 3D dungeon-crawling mechanic reminiscent of Phantasy Star. Navigating through the dimly lit, labyrinthine corridors with cautious excitement, Wataru soon encountered his first demon—a playful yet mischievous Pixie.

He swiftly engaged in combat, dealing damage until the Pixie was nearly defeated. However, just as victory appeared imminent, an unexpected prompt flashed on the screen: "Use Digital Devil Device to Negotiate with Demon!" Wataru's eyes widened in astonishment. "Negotiate? Really?" Intrigued by this novel mechanic, he selected the negotiation option, prompting a dialogue in which the Pixie eagerly asked, "Human! Can I join you?" Excitedly confirming, Wataru watched in awe as the Pixie joined his growing party.

"Wait, you can recruit demons!? That's absolutely amazing!" Wataru shouted, delighted by this discovery. Enthusiastically, he delved deeper into the dungeon, recruiting and negotiating with various demons he encountered. His attempts yielded mixed outcomes—some demons rebuffed his advances, disappearing back into the shadows, while others willingly joined him, intrigued by the promises and negotiation strategies he employed. Quickly, Wataru realized he was able to summon 4 demons and keep 7 demons , and Demon can`t level up like Nakajima and Yumeko. "Wait, my Demons can't level up? That kind of suck" Wataru was disappointed but he decided to keep playing, but the idea of being able to recruit demons really fascinates him!.

Wataru's fascination intensified further upon discovering the Jakyou Manor, also known as the Cathedral of Shadows, where demon fusion was possible. "Wait, I can fuse demons? Are you serious?" he murmured incredulously. Eagerly experimenting with this groundbreaking mechanic, he attempted to fuse his weaker demons. Selecting a demon named Knocker, Wataru was astounded by the extensive list of potential fusions, though many remained inaccessible and ??? due to his low character levels and lack of demons.

Determined to learn more, he quickly consulted the detailed fusion guide within the game's manual. He read the game manual and Astonished by the immense depth and complexity revealed in the fusion formulas, he exclaimed, "Wow, the fusion system here is unbelievably intricate!" Deciding to fuse Knocker with his Pixie, he watched as the two combined to form a new, more powerful demon named Dryad. Carefully, he selected to carry over Pixie's beneficial healing skill, 'Dia,' to enhance his new ally, that's because Knocker and Pixie are both Fairy Type demons which will result in the fusion becoming fairy type as well, actually Pixie and Knocker fusion can also be Lvl 10 demon Elf , but because Nakajima still lvl 6 it become Dryad instead

"This is absolutely mind-blowing," Wataru muttered, completely engrossed. "The possibilities seem endless—I'm going to have such an incredible time!"

Immersed entirely, Wataru continued to explore new depths, recruit increasingly powerful demons, and experiment with the sophisticated fusion system. With each new discovery, his enthusiasm and excitement for Megami Tensei only grew. Once again, ZAGE had delivered an extraordinary and captivating gaming experience, exceeding even Wataru's already high expectations.
