Another World Mall-Chapter 933: Approach
"So, this is where we will compete." Rin muttered while walking out of the bus.
They had arrived at their destination, a country called Clauston.
It was the second biggest country in the alliance, so the size of the reception was also quite large.
All participants from all eight countries were invited to stay in the biggest resort in the country.
Because they didn’t want to make it awkward or surprise anyone, Clovis had arranged for Reolf to stay above the bus, showing his presence to everyone. This way, no one would think of him as harmful.
Of course, in the case someone attacked her, Clovis would also make his move.
"I wonder if there is some unique cuisine here. I’d love to try one." Rin smiled excitedly. Her purpose in joining the Libation Fiesta was to get the rare ingredients, after all.
"Well, you can probably find one or two here." Clovis shrugged.
"You will go with me, right?" Rin pointed forward as if she were already suggesting that they move.
"Why? You can just do it yourself. I have something to deal with." Clovis looked around. As expected, his arrival definitely brought a lot of attention.
There were people who were curious about Reolf. They had seen him on the screen but never directly.
He had to make sure that no one was trying to harm Reolf.
Rin sighed. There was no way of convincing Clovis. It looked like the others shared the same opinion.
"Then I can go with you." Kanaria walked to her. "Unless you are bothered with me, how about it?"
"Sure." Rin gave a thumbs up.
"You guys can have some fun first." Clovis waved his hand before turning to Reolf. "Come here, Reolf."
Reolf nodded and leaped off the bus. Although Rea was with them, she hid within Another World Mall with the ticket so no one would know about her yet.
Fortunately, Rea’s existence hadn’t been exposed by Curea yet, so it would be good to utilize Rea in this situation.
Once Reolf came down, Clovis’ gaze shifted to a man who was rushing out of the hotel.
Still, General Sanders would be the one dealing with the rest, so there was no need for Clovis to take care of it. What he wanted was to bring Reolf around to show it to the people.
"You guys can have fun first. I’m going around with Reolf." Clovis waved his hand. He first told General Sanders about it before leaving.
There was another reason for him to stroll around the place. He wanted to see whether there was someone he could recruit.
Considering it was an assembly for the greatest talents from eight countries, he thought there might be someone who would be perfect for their group.
While walking, Clovis whispered, "I’m sorry, Reolf. Even though you have been with us for quite some time, I still can’t let you go around by yourself."
"Woof." Reolf gave a gentle bark, as if telling him he understood the situation.
In the end, he was the only one who was different. Rea, too, but they were the same. They were Clovis’ family.
No other person managed to succeed in taming a beast. Due to such a low number, it would take a very long time for everyone else to become familiar with Reolf. The only other way was for Reolf to become strong enough and for Clovis to have absolute strength to protect him.
Before they managed to achieve it, Clovis had to accompany Reolf.
"Everyone’s level is already quite high. Right now, both Jay and Kanaria should have reached about 60% to 70% of Tier 6, so it will probably take them another half a year to reach Tier 7 before their progress slows down significantly like the rest.
"However, you won’t be affected too much, Reolf. After all, your biggest growth will come from me."
Reolf nodded. The food from the pet shop wouldn’t change, so his progress would remain constant.
"Woof," said Reolf.
He was originally a Tier 2 wolf, but in such a short period of time, he managed to reach Tier 6. It was weird, but Reolf felt he had been helped a lot by Clovis.
Even though his movement was limited, the benefits were much bigger than the disadvantages, so he didn’t really mind.
"So, you want to help me this time?"
"Woof."
Clovis looked down, contemplating. "If you are going to bring all those beasts by yourself, it will be quite hard, but if we can succeed, we will be able to kill a lot of beasts."
Reolf’s speed was the fastest, so it would be good if Reolf could do it.
"Woof, woof!"
"Ah!" Clovis seemed to realize something. ’Now that I think about it, Reolf’s progress has surpassed mine since his source of growth is different from anyone else’s, except for Rea. If he can reach Tier 7, he can become even faster and move around the forest to lure the beasts for them.’
"We can try. But are you that close to Tier 7?"
"Woof!"
’Three days...’ Clovis nodded in understanding. "If that’s the case, we can try later. For the time being, we should follow our original plan until you are ready."
"Ready for what?" Suddenly, a female voice echoed from behind.
"!!!" Clovis and Reolf couldn’t help but feel surprised. Even though their senses were sharp, especially for Reolf, they almost didn’t notice this person’s arrival.
Clovis couldn’t help but squint his eyes. The woman had very sharp and quiet steps. Her presence blended with nature.
"Well, this is an honor. To think that I can meet the famous ice princess..." Clovis politely smiled. He had asked Melody about famous names from other countries, and this person was one of them.
A female archer who was known as the Ice Princess. Whatever happened in front of her, she wouldn’t shake. That was why she was known as a very cold person, to the point where even if her parents were to die in front of her, she wouldn’t have a change of expression.
"It should be my honor for the famous Clovis Hacfield to know someone like me." Angelia nodded.
