"What is our first target?" Jay asked while cutting down the beast. "I know that we’re seeking a new beast, but what is the target this time, Clovis?"

Clovis glanced at Jay next to him. There were a lot of strong candidates, but Clovis knew what he actually wanted after seeing the list that Melody compiled.

Since Melody was going to transition her fighting style, he needed a beast that could fight alongside him like that of a human.

That was why he couldn’t help but smile when revealing his target. "Pan troglodytes."

"What’s that?"

"Basically, a chimpanzee. I’m looking for the ancestor of the chimpanzee."

"Chimpanzee..." Jay looked down, falling into deep thought. He felt like he understood what Clovis wanted, but at the same time, he understood how crazy his plan was.

However, after opening the pet training shop, Clovis became even more determined.

"You are not going to make the chimpanzee fight like us, right?" Jay narrowed his eyes as he asked again because Clovis didn’t answer him. "Right, Clovis? Right?"

Clovis simply smiled. He was wondering what would happen if a chimpanzee were holding a sword.

The chimpanzee itself was one of the smartest, so it definitely could learn a thing or two. And with his collar, the chimpanzee would understand them, and vice versa.

If he increased the chimpanzee’s intelligence and trained it in the pet training store, he believed a new kind of chimpanzee would be born.

It might be as smart as a human, but it had the superiority of physique. Then, he would just have to make the chimpanzee learn how to wield a sword.

And ultimately, he would teach him everything to make him look like Jay at the very least.

A fighter would be born among them, a very convenient fighter.

"Ape together strong... I will at least make one ape as strong as possible." Clovis grinned.

"..." Jay was rather speechless. But if Clovis’ plan worked, it would definitely help them a lot. "So, where are we going to find it?"

"Deep inside the forest. Most likely, we will end up encountering a Tier 8 beast during that time."

Jay nodded in understanding. "Got it. Do whatever you need to do."

"Thanks."

Even though Clovis said the chimpanzee was located deep inside the forest, he didn’t know the exact location.

However, Melody had done some research and deduced the potential areas where they would be living. So, they would be targeting those areas, starting from the one in their country’s allocated area.

"Melody. How is the count?" Clovis asked.

1st - Astrien (131 pts)

2nd - Absalom (120 pts)

3rd - Croner (118 pts)

4th - Estanya (110 pts)

"I see." Clovis squinted his eyes. Astrien was the country they were planning to fight this time. It was surprising that Astrien got first rank since the Libation Fiesta hadn’t slowed down yet.

Nevertheless, it looked like they had received some help from the Prophet. He just didn’t know what kind of help it was.

Still, they looked suspicious. Croner was the nation that had a person with a unique ability like Clovis. In other words, Raven.

Meanwhile, Angelia was the representative of Estanya.

Unfortunately, their ally hadn’t made it to the upper half of the list, but that was only because they were busy moving around. They had to come to Absalom first, so there would definitely be a big change in the ranking once everything stabilized.

After seeing the ranking, Clovis had a vague understanding of how he should proceed next.

"Melody. We’re heading to the Tier 8 beast first. We’ll clean that place up and spread out the search. Our first target will be the country on our left, Mailan."

Mailan was located south of the forest, while Astrien was next to them. In other words, if Clovis encroached on their territory, they would most likely think of it as a provocation.

And Mailan wouldn’t be the only one who considered this a mere provocation. Jun and his country would definitely react. He would adjust his strategy based on their reactions.

With a goal in mind, Aileen sped up, trying to find the chimpanzee as well as the Tier 8 beast.

It took them a whole hour before they could reach their destination. Their target was deep within the forest. There was a small lake surrounded by big trees.

A big tiger was slumbering near the lake with several other high-level beasts guarding him.

It looked like they found a Tier 8 beast before the chimpanzee. Clovis was a bit disappointed, but with this, the score would drastically change.

"Melody. I need a report."

"Approximately 700 beasts. The enemy’s strength is unknown right now, but I suspect at least 3 Tier 7 beasts."

"Got it." Clovis observed the enemy for a few more seconds before giving his order. "Kanaria and I will take on the Tier 8 beast. The next one will be Jay and Christina. Aileen and Erwin will focus on hunting the Tier 7 beasts.

"The rest will focus on their respective tasks." Clovis had already given a previous instruction for normal tasks, so all of them understood his plan.

Most importantly, Melody would be the one controlling this fight, so they just had to follow Melody’s lead.

Once they had received their order, Clovis didn’t waste any more time and went straight to the tiger.

"!!!" The beasts sensed the presence of intruders and immediately alerted each other.

They immediately rose from the ground and ran toward Clovis.

Clovis smiled as he activated his unique ability. The killing intent erupted violently, startling all the beasts in the area.

But a thunderous sound soon echoed on the battlefield as a bullet from Kanaria struck them.

The Tier 8 beast managed to avoid it, but that bullet killed a lot of beasts around him, which allowed Clovis to reach the beast.

The Tier 8 beast waved its claws, but it was already losing momentum due to the bullet earlier.
