Another World Mall-Chapter 963: Kaboom!
"!!!" Clovis had expected the beasts to come and was wary of this country. But it looked like the situation had progressed exactly like the worst-case scenario he envisioned.
This country should have 125 people, so it would be quite dangerous for them.
At the same time, running away was not an option. Once they began running away, the enemies would pursue them relentlessly.
Clovis thought he would have time to train the chimpanzee before clashing with them, but it looked like he had to adjust his entire plan.
They still had several Tier 8 and Tier 7 humans hidden, so they could make one last push. In addition, the beasts would be perfect to make the situation even more chaotic as they hunted not only their group but also the enemies.
As long as they were humans, they would attack them.
"…" Angelia observed the situation carefully. She mentioned earlier that she planned to side with the winner, but the Libation Fiesta didn't look like the winner this time.
However, she didn't make a rash judgment. Clovis would have run away the moment he realized he couldn't deal with them. At least Clovis should be smart enough to make that judgment.
Besides, what she meant by the winning side was the one having the last laugh. Compared to Jun, who was too focused on his objective, Clovis was able to see the bigger picture. He didn't even involve his army, fully aware of what would happen when he did it.
So, Angelia was curious about Clovis's next move.
Clovis squinted his eyes. It was true that they were at a disadvantage, but they were currently overwhelming the enemies that were here. Until the beasts and the reinforcements came, their group would have that advantage thanks to Another World Mall.
There was at least half a minute before that happened, so Clovis had to make a decision within those thirty seconds.
Knowing that he was in danger, Clovis actually smiled. "I need supreme command over all groups in the area."
Melody was startled, but she immediately transmitted Clovis' message to both Gerald and Kaen.
Gerald answered without hesitation. "The command is yours."
"RAID will also follow your decision." Kaen followed right away, wondering what Clovis had in mind.
Angelia squinted her eyes, wondering what they were trying to do. She abruptly dropped her jaw when she saw the entire group starting to move to the north.
They were running, but they didn't plan to escape. Instead, they were running toward the beast wave as if they planned to challenge it, even though they were being chased by so many humans and beasts from behind.
'What is he trying to do?' This was Angelia's first time watching how Clovis maneuvered around his enemy, so she was rather confused about this action.
But that was enough.
"Don't run away!" Jun shouted. He couldn't afford to fail to kill Clovis this time. Still, he felt a bit confused. He should have run to the west or the east since nothing would stop them in that direction.
Why would Clovis run toward the beasts?
Christina, Ragna, and all other shield-bearers were placed at the very back to block any incoming attacks from the enemy.
Then, Clovis, Jay, Gerald, and Kaen were moving to the very front.
"!!!" Angelia finally realized what he was trying to do.
Clovis actually started slashing down any beasts coming his way, facing their momentum head-on.
It was hard, but with all the people whose offensive power was at the top in the group, they were able to pierce through the beast wave.
This way, the beast wave would be useless against them. And the beast wave had no intention of stopping, not when they saw humans behind Clovis' group.
In other words, Clovis actually broke through the enemy's ranks so that he could shift the target of this beast wave from his group to the Prophet's group.
Angelia was taken aback. To be able to turn the situation around so quickly was beyond her imagination. It looked like she still underestimated Clovis.
Still, Clovis had one problem left. Breaking through the beast wave was good, but there were more than enough beasts to surround them. The Prophet's group definitely faced the same thing, but they had more manpower, especially with the addition of an entire country.
Angelia pulled her bow, ready to assist Clovis.
But it turned out that everything had been calculated by Clovis. All of a sudden, shadows emerged from the woods and started taking down the beasts around Clovis.
"Ah?!" Angelia saw thirty people emerging all of a sudden. They were Tier 7 and Tier 8 elites. Their number might not be as big as a country's, but their strength couldn't be underestimated.
With this, Clovis' group had been completed.
Gerald also understood what Clovis intended to do. "Shall we begin the hunt, son?"
Clovis nodded with a smile. "Yeah. It's time to hunt. Melody!"
"Got it." Melody rearranged their formation, ready to kill all their targets in rapid succession.
"Khhh." Jun gritted his teeth. "What are you doing? Didn't the beast wave end up helping him? Aren't you supposed to help me kill him?"
Jun complained to the people from the Prophet. They had brought a lot of people and even gave an idea regarding the beast wave, but it ended up backfiring on them.
Clovis waved his hand down. "Let's go, let's go! Kill them all. Watch yourself and prioritize your safety, but if you see any opportunity, kill the enemy before you."
With Clovis' order, they started going back to the beast wave that had become a buffer line between Clovis' group and Jun's group.
"Rea!"
Rea finally returned to the sky. Her body had been carrying a few backpacks the whole time. It didn't affect her due to her size, but the moment she had been waiting for had arrived.
She flew above the enemy and started dropping backpacks.
"Melody." Clovis grinned.
"Aye, sir." Melody took out the remote and pressed the button. "Kaboom!"
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The backpacks exploded in rapid succession, causing massive damage to the enemy.
Angelia couldn't help but feel chills down her spine. A bombardment by a beast. She never thought such a thing was possible before, but she finally realized the terrifying ability that this group possessed.
She really didn't make a wrong choice.
