"Don't you think you owe me an explanation?"

Silvia calmly smiled as if she had expected this demand. The war had started, and it wasn't going to stop until one side perished.

"Follow me."

Maya turned around and started pushing the wheelchair.

Clovis frowned and followed her carefully.

"What do you think about this world? It is once said that this world is just a simulation. In that case, what do you think about this simulation world? What are we? Are we just someone created by code? I'm sure you are not going to ask me why I'm convinced we're created by code, right?"

"…" Clovis didn't say anything, but he had confirmed its authenticity. If there were a god out there making this simulation, it would be another human like them.

In other words, this world was made entirely of code. If not, the system wouldn't exist.

"What are you trying to say?" Clovis asked. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"Do you hate this world?" Silvia asked.

"I'm not entirely sure." Clovis shook his head. There was no answer to that question. If he left this world, wouldn't that mean Jay and the others would perish?

"As for me, I loved this world."

"Loved?"

"Yeah." Silvia didn't speak further. Instead, she raised another topic. "What is actually real in this world? Is our feeling real? Is our experience real? What is the purpose of this world? What are our purposes?

"I have a lot of questions, but I don't have many answers. The Prophet might know the answer. That's why he's been guarding the secrets the whole time. Or he might be programmed to think that way.

"So, I have been thinking about it. If the Prophet acted based on what he had been programmed for, should I hold this grudge against the Prophet or against the creator of this world?"

Clovis couldn't answer that question. After all, he didn't have enough information to draw a conclusion.

Silvia was in the same situation. She might want that answer, but she needed to know about this world first.

"Why do you think I created this war? Is it for revenge?"

"Yes, but I don't think that's all." Clovis noticed the hidden meaning behind her words.

If she had created this war for the sake of revenge, the war wouldn't have become this big. She would have created even stronger Shadow Guards to strike the Prophet. She would use the information network she painstakingly created to discredit him.

That was why she must have another reason.

"As expected of my Clovis, you are smart." Silvia chuckled. "Do you think if I give you this information, you can go to that tower as you like?"

Clovis looked down, contemplating. "No."

Now that he thought about it, Silvia mentioned that the Prophet had been guarding the secret the whole time.

The Prophet would prevent him in any way he could from finding that secret.

Silvia smiled. "That's right. That's why this war is necessary. If the Prophet is focused on defending, there's no way to enter the tower. This war is to create a gap so that you can go there."

Clovis frowned. "But if that's truly the case, there is no need for such a big war, right? You can just use Steven to create enough chaos."

Silvia shook her head helplessly. "The Prophet has never left a gap. It is as if he knows everything. That's why without a big enough incident, he will never let you enter the tower."

Clovis frowned. "You should have told me from the beginning. It's not like I will change my plan."

Silvia raised her finger. "No, you will. You will definitely not escalate it to war. You must be thinking about killing those people or even threatening the Prophet with them.

"However, you don't know the Prophet better than I do. He is a man who can watch the entire world burn and not do anything about it.

"The only time he will move is when the opportunity has been created for him. He will definitely take that opportunity.

"And this time, the opportunity has arrived. Those two countries will come for you. The Prophet will mobilize the other countries that support him to kill you.

"And this time, the current Hacfield family won't be enough to stop him." She shook her head helplessly. "We have arrived."

"Hmm?" Clovis had been following her, but it turned out she was going back to a small house.

When they first entered the house, everything became clear.

There was a wall that connected all the dots.

"This is…" Clovis approached the wall, looking at each point carefully.

"Look at the bottom left."

Clovis lowered his gaze and saw a map. It was a country in the East. Just looking at the exact location of this country made him realize everything had been set in stone.

"Easton," muttered Clovis in amusement.

"It looks like you have understood the meaning. So, can you understand everything from the wall? How about explaining it to me?"

Clovis gulped down. He first checked everything on the wall, which confirmed his suspicion.

Clovis started pointing at the very beginning. "The encounter with Vina has been arranged from the very beginning. The Dark Supreme, people believe he has stepped away from the Hacfield family, but he's actually working for you. The Dark Moon Mercenary is actually yours."

Clovis didn't expect that such a powerful mercenary group would be in Silvia's hands.

"After the Hacfield family disappears, I want a strong organization that I can rely on for this war. And that is the Dark Moon Mercenary."

Clovis didn't expect that his great-grandma's legacy might actually be bigger than the entire Hacfield family combined.

If not for his grandfather, the Shadow Guards might end up going into her hands as well.

"Your plan started with Vina. However, you know that I'm not strong enough to be a pawn in your plan, so you have no choice but to wait. And my grandfather knows about this plan of yours and has been hiding me the whole time."

Clovis looked at his great-grandmother, realizing why he was scared of her. He could probably endure the embarrassment from any blackmail files Silvia had against him, but Michael couldn't endure when his grandson had to be involved in this plan of hers.
