Apocalypse: I have a supermarket stocked with supplies-Chapter 146 - : Lin Musen
Chapter 146: Lin Musen
“This isn’t scientific,” Lin Murong muttered as he looked at the scenery outside the window.
“Is there science in this world?”
Lin Murong: “…Apparently not?” Their world was quite unscientific.
Science was long gone.
If there had been science, how could the world have managed for the sun to be shining one second and for it to snow in the next?
Science can’t explain it.
The landing spot that Su Yinhe had chosen was near Apple Base, just a few hundred meters from their city wall.
Near this Apple Base, almost nothing grew.
Which was strange.
You see, although Sun Base organized superpower users to chop down plants every day, there were still a lot of plants outside the base.
These mutated plants were really tough. You chop them down and pull them out by the roots today, and damn it, they grow back tomorrow.
Who knows if they are its offspring.
The superpower users at Sun Base were diligent in clearing out the plants, but no matter how hard they worked, they could at most clear a small area around the base and maybe a path.
But looking around Apple Base, everything is yellow.
Bare and desolate.
“This… could different regions have different disasters?”
“Impossible. Everyone is the same. If we have a flood, other places in the world also have floods, all the same. Some places are situated lower, so they stay flooded longer. Or some places have more plants to start with, and they just get more,” Lin Murong countered without a second thought.
“Then look at this base…” Su Yinhe pointed to the yellow outside the window for him to see.
Lin Murong looked at the yellow outside and also felt puzzled.
Sun Base was surrounded by so many mutated plants; how come Apple Base had none?
“There are greens inside the base,” Chi Yan said as he too came over and pointed at the base after looking for a while.
Thank goodness the window was big enough, otherwise, it wouldn’t have been large enough for three people to look out at once.
As he pointed this out, Su Yinhe and Lin Murong strained their eyes to look at the base.
The wall of Apple Base was also yellow, and at first glance, it all looked yellow. But on closer inspection, it seemed like there was a hint of green inside.
The walls of Apple Base were very low, so they could even see the tall buildings inside.
All pretty high, and in between these tall buildings, there was a faint mixture of a little green.
The green was so faint that if Chi Yan hadn’t mentioned it, they wouldn’t have noticed it at all.
“Brother Chi, you’ve got good eyesight.”
Lin Murong complimented him.
Just as they were about to continue discussing, it seemed like the people from Apple Base noticed the supermarket that had suddenly appeared. Dozens of people exited the base and ran towards the supermarket.
Seeing this, Su Yinhe felt business was coming.
No more words.
She turned and ran downstairs.
They were open for business.
She hadn’t sat in a supermarket selling things for a long time and was quite unaccustomed to it.
She went down, and Chi Yan and Lin Murong followed her down.
Opening a store in a new location, Su Yinhe had some expectations of the base and planned to continue playing the role of the cashier for a while. As for the little robots, they became her assistants.
She also quickly changed the price exchange list.
Strangely enough, after she did all this, still no one came in to buy anything.
That shouldn’t be.
A few hundred meters wasn’t very far.
According to the running speed of superpower users, they should have arrived long ago. Why had no one come in?
Su Yinhe and Lin Murong looked at each other, while Chi Yan sat on the side, seemingly deep in thought.
She waited a bit longer and realized still no one was coming, so she couldn’t help but walk to the door to look.
She walked, and Chi Yan and Lin Murong followed her, one on each side.
When Su Yinhe ran to the entrance and looked out, she realized that it wasn’t that they hadn’t arrived—they had arrived early. But they hadn’t come in; instead, they surrounded the supermarket entrance, staring at the supermarket as if they were facing a great enemy, not moving, just watching the supermarket, seemingly waiting for someone.
Su Yinhe fell silent.
Could it be…
What kind of big boss?
“It seems kinda abnormal.”
“I think so, too,” Lin Murong chimed in.
That’s not scientific.
After they arrived and witnessed the supermarket filled with all sorts of goods, they didn’t rush in to see what was inside.
If it were him, he wouldn’t think twice before dashing into a supermarket that was lit up and stocked with snacks.
Could it be…
They lack confidence in their own strength and are afraid there might be something inside, so they went to get reinforcements?
“Should we go out and take a look? Ask around?”
“No need,” Su Yinhe shook her head, “I’m just here to sell stuff. If people don’t come in, I can’t force them.”
“But… don’t you think it’s weird?” Lin Murong was eager, clearly itching to go outside.
Su Yinhe turned and ran back to the cash register.
Lin Murong was dragged back by Chi Yan.
“Why are you dragging me back, don’t I have any dignity?” Lin Murong was dissatisfied with Chi Yan pulling him back by his collar.
“You have dignity?” Chi Yan asked in slight surprise.
“I… well, you can’t just drag me like that,” Lin Murong stumbled over his words, but soon regained his self-righteous attitude.
“I won’t drag you next time.”
“That’s better.”
Chi Yan eyed him, then added, “Next time, I’ll just kick you back.”
Lin Murong: “!!!???”
Are you even human?
Su Yinhe was fiddling with the little robot, wondering if they could open for business today.
Who were those people outside waiting for, their boss?
Su Yinhe thought of Qin Mingzhou.

She had no idea where Qin Mingzhou had gone. She had been at Sun Base for so many days and had not seen her even once.
Maybe she’s dead.
Or maybe not.
Forget it, better think about the boss of that group outside.
Hopefully, he’s wealthy and will buy lots of stuff.
Although she already has quite a collection of antiques and a fair amount of jewelry in her space.
But she doesn’t know if the antiques from this world would still be considered antiques in her world.
And whether she could sell those pieces of jewelry.
Besides, people can never have too much money.
They only complain about having too little.
Fortunately, those people were quick, and their boss arrived swiftly.
First, a group of Superpower Users entered, quickly forming two lines, leaving a wide gap in the middle.
After these Superpower Users entered, they didn’t look around but respectfully awaited their boss.
Their boss, Su Yinhe was eager to see—how fierce could he be—to make his subordinates so obedient, not even glancing at her vast supermarket.
Su Yinhe’s expectations shattered.
A long-haired man with green hair sauntered in conspicuously flamboyant.
Lin Musen, upon entering, instantly identified who was the supermarket owner and walked straight towards Su Yinhe.
“Is this your supermarket? You the boss?” Lin Musen raised an eyebrow to ask.
Su Yinhe, looking at his green hair, nodded.
Lin Musen’s gaze shifted and landed upon the displayed price list.
Upon seeing it, his eyes went wide.
“Holy shit! Gold in exchange for money to buy stuff, which idiot came up with that!”
Su Yinhe’s face darkened.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to call you an idiot. I was saying the owner is an idi… no, wait, I mean the person who wrote this is an idi…”
