Chapter 620: Welcome to Earth

Just like Ethan had predicted, the battle in Canada wasn’t the end—it was just the beginning of the real war.

The Crimson Count’s forces were starting to stir.

His adopted sons and daughters—each a warlord in their own right—commanded massive Zombie Hordes. Once they got the signal, they began converging on the United States.

These weren’t just your average zombies either. There were all kinds of Zombie Kings, each more twisted and terrifying than the last. Mutant zombie beasts of every shape and size joined them—some flew through the skies, others slithered through rivers and oceans.

Some even crossed the sea on massive ships, or rode in on sea monsters, crashing through the waves like something out of a nightmare.

The hordes swept across the land like a plague, killing everything in their path. The whole world was thrown into chaos.

And just like that, all eyes turned to America.

...

The first to notice something was wrong were the researchers holed up in the Genesis Biotech North America HQ bunker.

The facility was packed with high-end equipment and satellite systems, constantly monitoring activity across the U.S.

Back when the base was still secure, Richard had set up the surveillance system specifically to track large-scale zombie migrations.

Right now, Dr. Morgan was staring at the giant screen, a creeping sense of unease settling in his gut. At first, he’d just been checking for recent meteor showers—where they’d landed, how big they were.

"Wait a second..."

He zoomed in on the satellite imagery and spotted it—massive clusters of zombies, moving steadily toward the U.S. Some had already crossed the border.

"What the hell is going on with these zombies?"

"Have they lost their minds?"

And it wasn’t just one direction. Zombie Hordes were pouring in from every side. Even the coastlines weren’t safe—undead were landing on the beaches in droves.

Dr. Morgan’s face went pale. His heart pounded in his chest.

"What the hell is happening?"

"What’s wrong, Dr. Morgan?" asked Elara, one of the students working nearby. She’d noticed the shift in his expression.

"Elara, look at this—there are countless zombies coming in from outside the country!" he said, voice tight with panic.

Elara frowned and stepped up to the screen.

She’d spent time with Ethan on the island of Tasmania, fighting side by side. She knew more than most about zombie behavior.

"This is being led by Zombie Kings. It’s part of their war."

"Oh? So what do we do?"

"We need to alert all the major shelters. They need to prepare, now," Elara said firmly.

"Yes, yes, of course!" Dr. Morgan nodded quickly, cursing himself for not thinking of it sooner.

He grabbed the phone and started calling every major shelter across the country.

Right now, most of the surviving population in the U.S. was concentrated in the Mount Elbert Shelter.

It didn’t take long for the news to reach them—and when it did, the place exploded into chaos.

"What?! Massive zombie hordes are coming in from outside the country? Why?!"

"No idea, but this is insane!"

"Are they coming to attack us?"

"Doesn’t look like they’re just passing through..."

"Oh my god... we better not leave the shelter anytime soon!"

"..."

People were panicking, voices rising in fear and confusion. It felt like the sky was falling. This was, without a doubt, the worst crisis since the apocalypse began.

The entire world’s Zombie Hordes were on the move.

The shelter administrators were on edge, nerves fraying by the second. Without wasting time, they reached out to the one person who might have answers—the woman known as the "Light of Humanity," Mia.

"Mia, we’ve got a massive wave of zombies flooding in from outside the country. What the hell are we supposed to do?"

"Hold the line," Mia said after a long pause.

"..." The administrator stared at the screen, speechless. That was it? Just "hold the line"? She made it sound so damn easy.

"You must have some idea what’s causing this, right?"

"What else could it be? Some troublemaking Zombie King stirring the pot again. Who else could pull off something this big?"

"..."

Inside the U.S., the tension was suffocating. Fear hung in the air like smoke. The terrifying Zombie Hordes were converging from all directions, and people were losing their minds.

No one dared step outside the shelters. They were bracing for the storm of a lifetime.

But that wasn’t the end of it.

Another force was quietly making its move.

At the Genesis Biotech Global Headquarters, a massive open space—easily the size of three football fields—was carved with dense, intricate patterns. The sight alone could trigger trypophobia in anyone who looked too long.

The markings twisted and coiled like serpents, tangled together in a chaotic yet strangely ordered design. It looked random, but there was a rhythm to it—something ancient, something powerful.

At the very center of the array, a stone slab floated in midair. Embedded in it was a Radiant Crystal, pulsing with a fierce, blinding light.

The white glow intensified, spreading across the array like wildfire, as if it were about to ignite every single line etched into the ground.

Surrounding the ritual site stood dozens of Cyborgs, their metallic bodies gleaming under the crystal’s light. They stood motionless, like statues, waiting for something.

The top brass of Genesis Biotech—those who held the company’s highest authority—stood nearby in solemn silence. Leading them was a sharp-eyed young man with cropped hair named Simon, the CHRO of Genesis Biotech.

"The Ritual Array is complete. It’s time to activate it," Simon said, his eyes flickering with green light.

The other ministers nodded, their pupils glowing like tiny green LEDs.

"Alright. Let’s begin."

They raised their hands and channeled energy into the array. In an instant, the entire formation lit up.

The floating stone slab blazed with light, and the etched lines across the ground flared to life. The brilliance was so intense it drowned out everything else around it.

Then the air began to shift.

A low rumble echoed through the space as the power of the ritual surged. A beam of light shot up from the Star Map slab, piercing the sky like a divine spear. The clouds above shattered and began to spiral, forming a massive vortex.

Lightning cracked across the heavens, silver serpents dancing through the storm.

At the center of the vortex, space itself began to tear open, revealing a swirling chaos beyond.

A figure began to emerge—vague at first, like a shadow behind a curtain.

The sky roared. The lightning grew fiercer.

The figure solidified.

A crushing pressure rolled out from the vortex, like a mountain pressing down on the earth. It was hard to breathe.

Simon and the other Genesis Biotech executives stood frozen, staring upward. They looked like statues, unmoving, their hair whipping wildly in the wind.

The whole scene felt like something out of a dark ritual—eerie, powerful, and deeply unnatural.

Finally, the energy began to fade. The Star Map slab dimmed. The clouds stopped spinning. The lightning vanished.

The wind died.

It was as if nothing had happened.

Except now, standing in the center of the Ritual Array, was a man.

Naked. Muscular. His body was carved like a sculpture, every muscle defined. His bangs drifted across his forehead, and his eyes were cold, emotionless.

He looked exactly like the fifth-generation Cyborgs.

"Finally... I’ve arrived," he said, voice low and seething with fury.

LORN clenched his fists, veins bulging across his hands. His brow furrowed with barely contained rage.

Simon stepped forward, holding a Genesis Biotech combat suit with both hands, bowing slightly.

"Lord LORN, welcome to Earth."

LORN gave a slight nod. "What’s the situation here?"

"The Crimson Count’s forces are converging on the U.S. Nearly every powerful Zombie King on the planet is heading there," Simon reported.

A sharp gleam flashed in LORN’s eyes. He looked like he was ready to tear through the world.

"Good. Then we’re going to America too..."
