Apocalypse system: I have unparallel comprehension-Chapter 58 - Will of the world
Dante gathered mana around his hands and channeled. He then used the concept. There was no technique in doing that as the concept was now part of his being.
He just willed into it.
The mana spread and intertwined with the particles. It was a raw foundation of the world so it could be turned into everything.
"Fire."
Slowly, sparks began to form and it changed his pure mana into a flame.
A soft smile formed on his face. He threw the fire on to the ground and it lit up quickly. As long as he supplied enough mana the fire won’t die.
Dante chuckled. With this concept, he could now add properties to his mana bolt. He could get stronger.
But he still needed to practice. Even more so than before.
Dante decided that he needed to train at least mana before going to try another.
Fire. Water. Wind.
Water mana is crucial since it is a survival skill. Fire for offensive skill and wind could be used to strengthen his movement and fire mana.
But he didn’t think no matter how much he trained, he would reach the level of Thomas.
***
Dante trained until he got used to the change in mana properties. Right now, his control is similar to Thomas when he first got his blessing.
He stood up and left the cave. The cave had no use for that. He needed to resume his journey. No matter how much he trained his mana, if he could use that in fighting it was useless.
Dante looked up at the sky. The weather was gloomy with dark clouds forming in the distant sky.
He squinted his eyes.
Rain? Tsk.
Rain in this cold weather would be the worst situation. He looked back toward the direction of the waterfall cave.
He had come faraway from the cave, going back was now not an opinion. He needed to find another shelter.
His eyes picked up immense mana from his left direction. It was a mana coming from the monster and the monster was alone.
Despite that, he could feel the power behind it.
Now, he was torn between finding shelter and facing that monster.
Dante was not the type to seek the battle but with new things in his pocket, he wanted to try it.
Especially with such immense mana.
"Guess. My curiosity won the heart."
The forest fell silent the moment Dante stepped toward the source.
Between the crooked trees, a silhouette peeled itself out of the cold mist. Alone breast laying, radiating mana thick enough to choke on.
It stood taller than any man, its body gaunt yet coiled with wiry strength. Pale flesh clung tight to its muscles, like skin stretched over a starving predator.
Every breath made its ribs bulge against its chest, as though even its bones wanted to escape.
Its eyes burned in blue mana radiating
But the most unsettling feature was its mouth
It split wider than natural, tearing into its cheeks whenever it snarled, revealing rows of uneven jagged teeth, too many to count.
Long arms hung down to its knees, ending in hooked claws blackened like charred bone.
With every step it took, the earth froze in a thin sheen of frost, as if the cold followed wherever the creature wandered.
It turned its head toward Dante, nostrils flaring.
It had already sensed him.
The moment Dante pushed through the thicket, the creature snapped its head toward him.
A chilling roar rolled across the forest.
"Tch. Guess I’m doing this."
The monster lunged first.
It moved far faster than something so starved-looking should. Claws raked toward Dante’s skull with a screech that tore bark from a nearby tree.
Mana wrapped around Dante’s legs and spine.
He darted aside, boots tearing grooves into the frozen dirt. He used Swift Rush.
The claws missed barely, slicing a chunk of tree behind him.
Dante countered, driving a compressed mana fist toward its abdomen.
The blow landed.
The monster staggered back three full steps, ribs buckling inward like brittle wood. Blue mana sprayed like steam from its chest.
"Shit. My fist is too fast. I can’t change my mana property in time."
Dante began to attack.
Every hit from here on stole mana from the enemy, siphoning slivers into Dante’s core.
The monster screeched, stumbling, but Dante didn’t relax.
It slammed its claws together and lashed out with a sweeping arc. This time Dante wasn’t fast enough.
Claws raked across his ribs.
Blood spilled hot in the freezing air, and Dante felt skin peel back to bone.
Feeling the seriousness of the wound, he immediately used Regenerative Heal.
Warm mana surged through his flesh, knitting torn muscle and sealing skin in seconds. Not perfect, but enough to keep moving.
The beast lunged again, faster.
Dante ducked low, slamming both palms onto its sternum.
A blast of mana pushed him. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
The monster screeched and slammed into him like a battering ram.
Dante’s world spun. "Focus. Focus.Focus."
He tumbled over stones and roots until his body slammed into a muddy boulder.
The beast stalked toward him, frost rising with each step. Its mana dwarfed his own.
His eyes saw the spike in the monster’s mana, a towering flame compared to his flickering candle.
Rain began to fall.
For a second, Dante thought he would die right there, torn apart in the shifting mud of a nameless forest.
But the monster paused for a slight moment, seemingly sensing something coming from Dante.
He hated using it.But he had no choice.
The air itself fractured like broken glass around him.
His fist burned in a purple aura.
Zero-Point Destruction.
Dante stepped into the blow, too slow to dodge and claws pierced deep into his abdomen, but he didn’t stop.
His hand struck the monster’s chest.
Purple mana erupted point-blank.
Silence swallowed the forest.
Dante dropped to one knee, gasping.
His vision dimmed, every drop of mana drained to ash.
But Dante could barely stay conscious, Zero-Point had hollowed him out.
"Damn... almost died..."
He slumped forward, lungs burning, blood soaking through his clothes, but he was alive.
Barely.
And the storm didn’t care.
[ You have slain Glommaw Reaver.]
[2700 points earned.]
"At last, a cool name."
Dante pulled himself up and slowly walked toward the nearby tree. He lay there, letting the water soaked in. He closed his eyes and absorbed mana on his core.
With the concept, his mana regeneration speeded up.
The fight brought him to his knees but he couldn’t find a way to use his concept. What a useless fight.
He slowly healed himself and took the mana core from the beast.
After that, he moved away.

"Want a shit hole we got ourselves in." Domas muttered. He swung his sword, red aura coated, slashing the monster in half.
He then swung again to remove the blood on his cold blade. He spun his body and threw a kick at the incoming monsters.
The slick cracked the monster’s skull but was not strong enough to kill it.
Before he could give a swing, a series of arrows landed on the monster’s back, each piercing through the body, landing on the ground.
The monster fell down.
"Tch!" He clicked his tongue in annoyance. He turned his head and lifted up his longsword, aiming toward the man who was standing on the tree.
He lifted up his bow and also aimed at Domas.
"Drop it, Domas." Kale declared, his voice filled with arrogance.
Domas spat on the ground and dropped his sword.
"Anyway, are we close?" He asked.
Kale looked up and nodded. "Yeah. So don’t act anything funny. Remember our mission."
Kale remained.
"I know. I know."
Boom! Boom!
The ground shook. It was as if something massive was coming at them.
Domas immediately activated his body skill and readied. Kale followed, creating a dark arrow.
"In the east. I think it is a troll."
"Level?"
"Maybe 89." Kale replied.
"Shit. Where is the boss?"
"Don’t know."
Domas sighed and dashed forward, dragging his sword. Soon, he saw the massive grey troll walking toward them. The troll wore armor similar to that of a knight. Its weapon was a massive hammer made purely from iron.
An arrow flew past him and landed on the armor. It didn’t penetrate the armor but instead it exploded.
Domas frowned. He knew what Kale was plotting and he admitted it was a good way to attack the troll but that didn’t mean he liked it.
The troll let out a roar and scanned across. Its massive eyes landed on Domas.
"Shit."
Domas gathered mana and activated the shield skill from his class.
Mana surged and formed into a barrier. The hammer landed and immediately broke it into pieces.
Luckily, Domas managed to dodge in time. He didn’t waste any time and jumped up into its arms.
He stabbed through the gaps between the armor.
His sword did the damage and was instantly healed by the troll’s body.
"Where is the boss?" He yelled.
"I don’t know. Just keep fighting."
"But we can’t kill it with our firepower." Domas shouted.
Suddenly the air around the area stopped. Domas felt his blood rushing over his head. His heart was beating so loud that he couldn’t even hear his own voice.
He looked up and saw the troll’s head vanished.
"Need a hand, boys." A young man stood on the troll’s shoulder, looking down at Domas.
Domas lowered his head. "Thanks, boss."
The young man rolled his eyes and suddenly his body stiffened. He jumped down and landed beside Domas. He patted Domas.
Domas accepted the mana and felt the wounds on his closed.
"Ready. We got ourselves a fellow adventurer."
