Chapter 295: The Kids’ Abilities

Outside the room, the situation was buzzing with activity as the kids were busy showcasing their newfound abilities.

There it was, Little Koby, able to lift a small feather without touching it. Little Erick produced a burst of light strong enough to blast a small object away.

Meanwhile, Little Lucy conjured a faint, invisible golden shield, just sturdy enough to protect an object placed behind it.

And here it was, Little Mia cheering nonstop, mesmerized by their ability.

"Bwother Koby, lift me up. I want to fwy. Can you do it?"

"I... can’t your too heavy Little Mia."

"Are you saying I’m fat? Hmmmmp."

"No... Brother Ethan told me not to overdo it. You see, I can only float small objects," he explained dejectedly.

"Alright, how about Brother Erick blast the floating feather. It would be cool," Little Mia suggested excitedly.

"No... not in the house. Grandma will definitely get angry."

"Don’t worry. With sister Lucy shield, the bwast would not scattered and destwoy anything," she pressed on.

"Little Mia, its not a good idea. How about we show you when we trained inside Paradise, later," Little Lucy replied, trying to decline the little girl’s request.

She then changed the topic to disrupt her. "Let’s go and see the babies. They have been with Brother Ethan for too long."

Hearing about the babies, Little Mia quickly nodded, totally missing her nephews.

But before they could enter, Poochi barked, not allowing them to enter.

"Aw~awww~aww"

’No one enter.’

He had been guarding the door for more than an hour now. Listening to the kid playing with their ability.

Now that they have changed their site to enter the room, he quickly rose.

As his buddy Ethan instructed, no one was allowed during the babies’ and Mistress Elena’s bonding time.

"What are you doing? Let us enter," Little Mia demanded.

"Aw~awww"

’Still no.’

"We just want to see the baby and Sis Elena. Sighed, why is Sis Ele still sweeping? It’s been so long now."

But Poochi didn’t listen and barked. The last time Little Mia visited the babies, they cried pitifully.

It had happened just two days ago, when Little Mia was watching the babies while happily sipping her favorite honey orange juice.

The moment the babies caught sight of their aunt, they were completely captivated—not by her, but by the faint spiritual energy carried by the honey.

Their tiny mouths kept smacking softly, little faces full of longing, clearly wanting a taste.

Clueless about the cause, Little Mia simply watched their reactions with delight, thinking they looked adorable.

But soon, the youngest couldn’t hold it in anymore and let out a loud cry. Almost instantly, the two older brothers followed, their cries overlapping and echoing through the room, leaving the elders stunned.

They rushed to soothe the babies, assuming they were just hungry. Yet no matter what they did, the crying only intensified, forcing them to call Ethan.

At first, Ethan tried to calm them as well, but he quickly realized they were far more agitated and weren’t listening to him at all.

Without hesitation, he moved the babies out of the space and placed them on their mother’s bed. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

Almost immediately, it worked.

The babies quieted down as if nothing had happened, their expressions relaxing before they drifted to sleep—without him doing anything else.

Afterward, they investigated and soon discovered the cause. It was the same situation as the spiritual grape incident, only this time, the trigger was the honey orange juice.

Once again, the source pointed back to Little Mia, who was literally unaware of her actions.

That incident also made them firmly ban anything that could provoke the babies’ instinctive hunger for spiritual items.

Back at the door, Poochi clearly remembered what had happened. So he was completely deaf to Little Mia’s nagging and even barked loudly.

"Aw—aww—awwww!"

’Not allowed. You’ll make the babies cry.’

"What? Are you going to fight me now?" Little Mia said, crossing her arms stubbornly, refusing to back down.

But instead of retreating, more barking erupted—one after another, loud and persistent.

Hearing the noise grow louder and louder, Elena firmly concluded that there was definitely more than one dog outside.

"Care to explain?" she asked, looking at Ethan for a valid answer.

Ethan couldn’t help but chuckle. "You know Poochi awakened too, right?"

"Mmmp," she nodded.

Before she had fallen into her deep slumber, she had noticed Poochi lying unconscious as well, his body faintly glowing with spiritual energy.

So, she had already suspected he was awakening back then.

"His ability is duplication," Ethan explained. "He can create four more copies of himself."

"That is... a pretty good ability," Elena said, quickly recalling others in her memory who had possessed something similar.

Ethan sighed. "What’s so good about being too many? It’s way too loud. He can’t control it yet—he duplicates himself and then starts barking everywhere. My ears almost burst from the noise."

Despite his complaints, the slight tremor in his voice betrayed his worry for his buddy.

Poochi hadn’t just awakened an ability—his body had grown as well.

He was now nearly as tall as a teenage child, and his strength also multiplied several times over.

At times, he would smash things without realizing it, forgetting just how much he had evolved.

Because of that, Ethan had banned him from going near the babies unless he was present, afraid Poochi might hurt them unintentionally.

"He’s probably just confused for now," Elena said gently. "With proper training, he’ll adjust. You know he’s a smart dog."

Ethan nodded reluctantly.

"Alright," Elena continued, "open the door. I want to see Poochi—and the kids."

She had heard their argument long ago but had chosen to ignore it, wanting uninterrupted time with her babies.

Now that the triplets were sleeping peacefully and the noise outside was getting out of hand, it was time to step in.

Ethan nodded and let out a sigh. There was still so much to discuss, and he also wanted some quiet time alone with his wife.

If word spread that Elena had woken up, their people would surely come flocking without end.

Still, at his wife’s insistence, he complied.

The moment he opened the door, he was greeted by Little Mia’s annoyed expression, clearly unhappy about being kept outside.

"Bwother, you’re finally here. Look at Poochi—he’s way too overbearing. He won’t let us in," she complained.

Then she glanced at the towering figures behind him, frowning in confusion.

"Which one of you is the real Poochi?"

The three Poochis turned their heads at the same time and barked in unison.

"Aw—awww!"

Before Little Mia could argue further, a familiar voice she had missed dearly came from inside.

"Little Mia, come here. Stop arguing with Poochi, or the babies will wake up."

"Sis Ele! Sis Ele! You’re finally awake!"

Without hesitation, the children rushed in excitedly. But when it was Poochi’s turn to enter, Ethan stopped him with a stern look.

"Take back your duplicates. The room is cramped—only the real you can go in."

Poochi whimpered, clearly struggling to dismiss the copies.

"Aw... awwww..."

"Quiet. Elena wants to see you, but only one Poochi is allowed."

At the mention of his mistress’s name, Poochi perked up at once. Moments later, the other copies vanished, leaving only the real one standing proudly.

’Tsk. See? He can do it. He’s just been lazy every day,’ Ethan thought. ’Looks like his training needs to level up starting tomorrow.’

With that, Poochi trotted inside happily.

Soon after, the room filled with soft chatter as Elena checked on the children—both their condition and their newly awakened abilities.
