Diana's eyes widened. For some reason, her heart dropped into her stomach, a chilling sensation crawling up her neck.
" Why?" she whispered.

" Because this monster must never be found. It will bring total disaster to humanity. Promise me you will kill this person." her hand held Diana's shoulders, she shook her slightly.
Diana swallowed hard, each movement slow and painful. She nodded her head hesitantly.
" Say it." she yelled.
"I... I promise." Diana replied in the same tone.
" Good." she gently patted her shoulder. " You will be able to know the bearer of Chaos, when your powers don't work when you are around him."
The lady's voice distorted, echoing in her head as her thoughts came back to the present.
Tears trickled down her cheeks. " Why does it have to be you Olivia? Why?" she muttered.
A lump formed in Diana's throat. The air around her felt suffocating, as if the weight of destiny itself pressed against her chest. Could she really do this? Could she truly kill Olivia, someone who had trusted her? Her fingers curled into fists, nails digging into her palms. No... this wasn't fair. Why her? Why now?
Her heart felt like it was being pricked by thousands of needles. She had already considered her as her friend. ' Good things don't last... I hope you are dead Olivia, please don't make me do the dirty work.' her eyes closed, releasing more tears from her eyes.
" Are you crying?" Tyler's weak voice snapped her out of her thoughts.
Diana swiftly wiped her tears away, she turned toward him, forcing a smile. "No, something got into my eyes," she lied, hoping he wouldn't press further.
Tyler weakly stood, his gaze drifting over the unconscious students. Red energy swirled around them as their bodies absorbed the cores. His gaze lingered on Ellie's small frame. A look of relief crossed his face, but someone was missing.
" Where is Olivia? Please don't tell me she has gone out again, the last time she did, we all knew what happened." his eyes held an unpleasant look.
Diana forced a smile, but her voice wavered. "She won't be here to cause any more trouble." The words felt bitter on her tongue.
" What do you mean by that?" His brows furrowed in confusion.
Diana swallowed hard, her fingers gripping the edge of her sleeve. If she hesitated, would he notice? Would he start asking questions? Her lips parted, and before she could stop herself, the words slipped out.
" Because she is dead, she fell off the cliff, she won't survive it." her voice sounded more as if to convince her herself.
Tyler's shoulders slumped. There were a lot of questions he wanted to ask, the dragon? Her powers? He had thought he could gain more insight in her powers as she was also battling with control as him. But she was already dead, is that possible? She didn't look like someone who would die easily.
"Tyler?" Diana called out, disrupting his trail of thoughts.
" Yes." he answered.Tyler pressed his lips together. Something didn't feel right, but what was he supposed to say? If she was dead, then that was it... right? " I mean that is sad." he muttered, he pinched the edge of his nose.
Silence ensued between them. Tyler weakly sat down again, his back resting on the rocky wall. His eyes lingered on Ellie's sleeping face.
" When will they wake up?" he asked.
" In two hours." she answered. Her gaze at her necklace, a white tooth shaped bone, which had been handed over from the older seers. She wondered if her powers were a blessing or a curse. She felt a heavy burden straining her chest.

(Back in the Fortress)
" What do you mean she is gone!" an angry voice echoed in the room. Chairs smashing against the ground.
Alexa felt cold sweat trickling down her face. She had just found out that Olivia had been missing, she was supposed to be keeping an eye on her, but she let her slip away. She had conducted several searches, yet she was nowhere to be found.
"We will find her boss." she said, although she had no idea of where to find her.
The overbearing figure of her boss towered above her, his long slender hand gently pushed back a strand of hair, tucking it behind her ear.
She froze when she felt his hand against her face. Her heart hammered against its cage, her hand trembling slightly, her breath almost stopping.
"Alexa." his voice gently called out. "You know how important she is to me, why did you let her escape, and there is a speculation that she might have seen something she wasn't supposed to, hmm... tell me how I should punish you for failing your mission?" he asked, his hand already slithering to her neck.
Her blue eyes shone with horror. " Boss, please give me more time, I will make sure I find her." her words came out in a stutter.
" I will have mercy on you but first you have to take your punishment." His hand snaked to the back of her neck, before his rosy pink lips pressed against hers.
Her body betrayed her, melting into his touch, but her mind screamed in defiance. She hated him. She wanted to run. But she couldn't.
Alexa eyes closed, her heart raced against her chest. His lips were warm and always tasted good, she couldn't help but want more.
But he suddenly pulled away, leaving her in an insatiable hunger. His thumb gently traced her lips. " You know I hate to punish you, but I have to, so you will do your job well huh?" His hoarse whisper sent chills down her spine.
She wanted to scoff at his words, she knew how much he enjoyed punishing her. He never missed an opportunity. She swallowed hard.
" So be nice, go and take your punishment, I will be watching today." His eyes were cold and emotionless.
Alexa's hand clenched, but she knew she couldn't stand against him, not now. She turned, walking towards the door. Her steps faltered a little when she heard his words again.
" Don't worry about finding her, I will do it my own way." he casually said before sitting casually on his couch.
