Chapter 984: Earning Money

Vale wanted to purchase a lot of these items, but he doesn’t have enough Divine Crystals anymore. Perhaps, he could only purchase Alchemical Products that were being sold for Arcane Crystals instead.

After all, he wasn’t just thinking of himself. His army of loyal Immortals and Grandmaster Arcanists back home also needed such things.

The Chaos Alchemist wasn’t someone he could order around after all. Although he could be considered friends with Maya, her organization, the Church of the Lord Secrets, wasn’t viewing him that positively.

The Masked Archons, their elite force like the Holy Knights, Storm Knights, and Sorcerers of other churches, were always monitoring their movement and waiting for them to make mistakes to minimize their influence around the world.

"I have to get more Divine Crystals then..." Vale muttered.

Even if he couldn’t purchase many of them yet, he wanted to take note of them so he could plan his purchase later on, so he wouldn’t waste his money.

After all, the Nine-Purity Pill that cleanses the body and enhances the physique was something that Arcanists who focused on Spellcasting needed.

Unlike the Combat Path and the Knight Path, which give a significant boost to the practitioner’s physique, the other Arcane Paths couldn’t do so... There were only slight enhancements, and with the Pills he could find here, everything could change.

Perhaps, his disciple could equal even Chad in just a few more years with the help of these products.

Anyway, since he doesn’t have the money yet, Vale continued to look around.

On the far side of the store, he noticed the Alchemy Tools section.

There were no flashing designs. Just rows of cauldrons, measuring scales, tongs, extraction tubes, and inscription brushes.

He recalled Diana, Magnus, and a few alchemy experts within his Domain. Perhaps, they would want these things, so he was thinking of giving them a gift for his return.

After all, a few pieces stood out.

[ Moon-Iron Cauldron

Grade: High-Tier Arcane Tool

It had a reflective shell and runes for heat distribution, ensuring perfect temperature control even in mixed-element concoctions. ]

[ Arcane Channeling Needle

Grade: Mid-Tier Arcane Tool

A long needle-shaped instrument for directly channeling external spiritual energy into pill formation. Rare in the human realm. ]

[ Voidglass Storage Bottles

Grade: Mid-Tier Arcane Tool

Used to preserve spatially volatile liquids, such as teleportation brews or condensed world essence. ]

Vale nodded in appreciation as the information written on them was quite useful.

Still, the grading system of their artifacts or tools differs from his realm.

Nonetheless, he could estimate their level based on his various observation skills.

He believed that the Low-Tier Arcane Tool was most likely the Regular and Mortal Grade equivalent in his realm.

The Noble and Royal Grade, on the other hand, was most likely the Mid-Tier Arcane Tool.

As for the Sovereign Grade or maybe even the Arcana Grade, it was probably the High-Tier Tool.

Anyway, the tools alone could be revolutionary back in his domain.

Items that were the same level as Sovereign Artifacts could actually be found so easily in this realm.

Thankfully, these Arcane Tools weren’t being sold for Divine Crystals. Instead, they were only looking for Arcane Crystals, and he had plenty of those!

Vale then held the Moon-Iron Cauldron to inspect it...

However, as soon as he did so, his system was triggered.

[ Energy Source has been discovered. Would you like to start the extraction? ]

’Ah?’ Vale wryly smiled as he was curious how much energy he could extract from it.

Of course, he didn’t extract it as he didn’t want to cause any trouble. It will also not be cost-efficient since it would be better not to extract such items.

Anyway, he turned to the clerk.

"Do you have stock for bulk export?"

The clerk smiled knowingly. "Of course. We specialize in mass production. I’ll bring you a catalog that includes discounted prices for quantity purchases..."

The clerk then returned with a small black book bound in animal hide.

As Vale flipped through the pages, his mind raced.

’Alright... They’re a lot cheaper than I thought.’ Vale mused.

Perhaps, since they were only Arcane Tools, they weren’t that valuable in this realm. A single high-tier Arcane Tool only costs 120 to 180 Arcane Crystals after all.

That was already a cheap price considering the fact that Sovereign Artifacts couldn’t even be purchased in his realm!

Eventually, Vale bought the following items with his current money.

10 Soulroot Awakening Pellets

20 Nine-Turn Purity Pills

15 Moon-Iron Cauldron

15 Arcane Channeling Spire

15 sets of mixed rare herbs, including Arcblossoms, Nightshade Fruit, and Everspring Root

A full set of Voidglass Bottles for storage!

With such a large purchase, the clerk swiftly gave Vale an Alchemy Storage Pouch as a bonus, capable of preserving the temperature and aura of over a thousand herbs and pills for two decades.

Before leaving, Vale paused at the door to look at the other items that he still wanted to have but couldn’t since he was already broke...

The Alchemy Floor hadn’t overwhelmed him with spectacle like the Spirit Beast stalls, but its impact was more subtle...

He couldn’t wait to return and see the reaction of his friends.

"This floor alone could alter the fate of a kingdom..." Vale whispered as he shook his head and left.

As Vale stepped out of the Alchemy Emporium, he knew that he had to do something about his wallet.

Arcane Crystals: Almost gone.

Divine Crystals: Fully spent.

And yet, he had barely scratched the surface of what this massive Tower had to offer.

He glanced around, watching other Immortals and powerful Arcanists walk by, some of them seemed to be laughing as they discussed new purchases.

He exhaled quietly and muttered, "Right... I need more Divine Crystals and Arcane Crystals if I want to keep up in this realm."

Thankfully, with his system, it would be a lot easier for him as long as he had all the things he needed.

For now, Vale’s first thought was to find cheap empty Divine Crystals, which would allow him to produce the finished product at a much lower energy cost.

After all, he knew that turning raw stones into Divine Crystals costs more effort and energy on his side. But the tradeoff was that raw materials were almost free if one knew where to look.
