Ashley

Well that's a big snake. A very big one.

The snake seems to span around a couple hundred meters in length, with a couple meters in width, and it has dark green bordering on black scales. Meanwhile its wings look rather draconic in appearance, and it has no other limbs of any sort beyond the wings.

As for the identify result?

But before I can even finish reading the messages, I feel pain beginning to spread throughout my body from what I'm assuming are a couple mutation skills mixed in the bunch. So I make sure to fly closer to the edge of the island far away from the other monsters while I regather my bearings.

Then I open up the descriptions of each of the new skills I got from that mass killing spree.

{Forest's Wrath Venom – Infuses Forest's Wrath venom into the user's fangs. This venom marks the envenomed as a target of the forest's wrath, making any forest they enter attack them while they are within the forest's territory.}

{Low Grade Nature Mana Manipulation – This skill grants the user the ability to turn their natural mana into nature mana and use the mana to perform nature magic spells.}

{Deadly Bramble Field – Allows the user to implant a field of deadly brambles around them and turn it into their own domain of which they can control absolutely.}

{Wind Echo – Allows the user to control the wind to make sounds all around them, and to bring sounds to them from far away.}

{Thunder Call – Allows the user to call down thunder from the thunderclouds above them, striking down their targets without mercy.}

{Nimbus Cloak – This skill passively makes all nimbus cloud material within three meters of the user form a cloak around the user to obscure view of them.}

{Parasitic Implant – This skill allows the user to implant a part of themselves into other living creatures to parasitize them and absorb their mana and energy.}

{Lightning Absorption – This skill passively absorbs lightning and other forms of electricity into the user's body with no harm to the user.}

{Lightning Shot – This skill allows the user to fire off any and all forms of electricity stored within the user's body as a single beam of electricity.}

After a quick glance at both my new skills and my body, I find that I got two new mutation skills. One of which I'm actually going to keep, because lightning absorption is great. But the other I get rid of right away. Because I don't want to become a damned field of brambles.

So bye-bye Deadly Bramble Field.

As for lightning absorption? The only visible changes to my body is that my skin actually looks clearer. And there are some very faint sparks of electricity occasionally running through it.

Sparks that don't hurt whatsoever.

I look at the bare skin of my forearm before glancing up at the thunder clouds above the entire map. Then at the wounded monsters heading my way from deeper in the island. The higher level monsters that didn't die from my attack, along with the massive basilisk that clearly doesn't care much for me.

This could work.

A grin begins to stretch across my face. One that no doubt stuns the audience watching me.

Time to merge some skills.

To start off, I begin using my lightning mana manipulation to strike myself with numerous lightning spells and let my body absorb the lightning. Which immediately leads to bolts of golden lightning traveling through my body in arcs. Then I increase the amount of destruction lightning generated by my Destructive Charge skill through providing it mana, making more and more crimson and black lightning join in with the golden lightning.

I feel my body growing tenser and tenser with the amount of lightning flowing through me. Yet at the same time I feel faster despite that.

An odd combination, to be sure.

But I don't stop as I follow it up by raising a hand and activating Thunder Call. Calling forth thunderbolts from the clouds above me to strike myself instead of any of my enemies.

Which clearly confuses them as all the monsters stop approaching.

All I do in response is grin at them though, albeit a little tensely with my jaw clenched.

Let's see them survive this.

I slowly move both of my hands in front of me facing the majority of the monsters.

And without hesitation, I activate Lightning Shot.
