Chapter 188 - 187: Is my Divine King Realm fake?

"What's going on?"

"This is the aura of the Sect Master!"

"Is someone attacking us?"

"Hmph! Who dares?!"

Sun Death Sword Master's sudden outburst instantly drew the attention of everyone in the Sun Death Sword Realm.

Because the Sun Death Sword Master was usually in seclusion, the Grand Elder was the one who handled the affairs of the Sun Death Sword Realm.

The higher-ups routinely gathered to discuss sect matters before attending to their tasks. This time, they were still in discussion when they sensed the Sun Death Sword Master's violent aura. They exchanged glances before rushing out of the discussion hall in his direction.

Facing the furious Sun Death Sword Master, Yun Wuji showed no anger. He completely understood his reaction. If he were in his shoes, he would have done the same. How could someone submit so easily without a fight?

However, understanding was one thing, and doing business was another. Without expanding the scope of his "business," how could he gather enough resources for his cultivation?

Even if Yun Wuji was acting no differently from those cliché, arrogant cultivators, he didn't care in the slightest. Just a few months ago, he had caused the death of a Realm King and his son, people who bore no grudge or enmity toward him simply because it benefited him.

Did he feel any guilt for doing that? Of course not. At most, he felt slightly grateful to both of them, after all, it was only with their "help" that he managed to fuck Mu Xuanyin.

Yun Wuji set the teacup down on the table and rose to his feet. The warm smile never left his face as he asked, "Are you sure? If I make a move, the price you'll pay will be far greater."

As he spoke, he began to slowly walk forward. Then, with a light tap on Ming Peng's body, he propelled himself gracefully through the air, closing the distance until he was just a few meters away.

He didn't release his aura or display his oppressive might. Instead, he simply stood there in front of the Sun Death Sword Master, one hand casually tucked in his pocket and that same warm smile still gracing his face. Yet, this seemingly relaxed and indifferent demeanor was enough to make the Sun Death Sword Master tighten his grip on the sword in his hands.

Despite the calm exterior, he could clearly sense an overwhelming and incredibly dangerous aura emanating from this man.

Even without any other indication, the fact that this man could make someone like Ming Peng act as his mount was proof enough of his power. But even so, the Sun Death Sword Master wasn't about to go down without a fight!

"Junior, die!!!"

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

The Sun Death Sword Master slashed downward, unleashing a sword beam that tore through the sky, a blinding white arc stretching tens of thousands of meters, sharp enough to cleave the horizon. At the same time, countless sword energies erupted around it, they surged forward like unceasing torrents.

The sword beam was enormous, yet incredibly thin. As it drew near Yun Wuji, it cast a shadow over him, making him appear like a tiny ant in comparison.

Yun Wuji's shoulder shifted, his body drifting slightly to the left, a movement so small it was almost imperceptible. The vertical sword beam swung downward with earth-shattering force and missed him by less than a hair's breadth. It struck the ground, carving a chasm so deep its bottom vanished into darkness.

Rumble!

The beam continued its path, splitting a distant mountain cleanly from peak to base. The summit crumbled, stones breaking apart and tumbling down in a massive landslide that buried the valleys below.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The smaller sword energies followed the beam's path, cutting through the air. Trees were split straight down the middle, from roots to tops, their halves falling to the ground. Boulders cracked into uneven pieces, and rivers were cut in two, their waters pouring into the new gaps in the earth.

Yun Wuji stood untouched, the destruction spreading in a perfect vertical line behind him. The Sword Master's attack had torn the world apart, yet Yun Wuji looked as if he hadn't even moved a full step.

"What..." The Sun Death Sword Master's hands trembled as they gripped his sword. His eyes locked onto Yun Wuji, who stood perfectly unharmed, his face pale with shock. He had known his enemy was far stronger, so he had poured nearly all his strength into that first attack.

Yet... to think the man before him had dodged it so effortlessly.

Swoosh!

He gritted his teeth and rushed toward Yun Wuji, slashing with all his might, when the attack was about to land on him, Yun Wuji once again moved his body slightly dodging the attack the sword attack brushed past him and landed behind him.

Boom!

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Once, twice, a dozen times. The Sun Death Sword Master continued to attack madly, each strike was faster and fiercer than the last, shrill voice in the air as his blade tore through it.

Yet, Yun Wuji dodged them all with the same effortless ease, his movements so slight they were almost unnoticeable.

The Sword Master's attacks carved deep gashes into the earth, shattered mountains into dust, and split giant trees cleanly in half. But no matter how fast or how ferociously he struck, his blade never came close to touching Yun Wuji.

Ming Peng had already transformed back into his human form. Standing to the side, he watched as the Sun Death Sword Master struggled just to land a single hit on Yun Wuji. He couldn't help but find his actions stupid, why not just submit?

But then, he recalled his own deeds yesterday. Hadn't he done the same? In the end, didn't he only give in after receiving a round of 'educational' slaps?

"Die!" The Sun Death Sword Master panted heavily, his chest rising and falling as sweat dripped from his face. His arms trembled, but he refused to stop! Gritting his teeth, he let out a furious roar and gathered all his remaining strength. With one final strike, he swung his sword at Yun Wuji's throat, putting everything he had into this last desperate attack.

Yun Wuji's hand moved.

Two fingers caught the blade mid-air, stopping it instantly. The Sun Death Sword Master's arms trembled, his profound energy surging as he pushed with all his might. Veins bulged from his forearms, his muscles strained to their limit, yet it was like trying to move a mountain. The blade didn't budge an inch.

'Why? Why is he so strong?! We're in the same realm, so why is there such a gap between us?!' He could clearly sense that the man in front of him was also at the tenth level of the Divine King Realm, just like him. But the difference in their strength was like heaven and earth!

Could it be that his own level 10 Divine King Realm was fake?

Yun Wuji's expression didn't change. His calm, almost indifferent gaze met the Sword Master's wide, disbelieving eyes. When the Sword Master saw that look, he knew... he had fucked up.

And fucked up he was.

Smack!

Yun Wuji's free hand moved in a casual, almost lazy motion. It struck the Sword Master's cheek with a sound like a thunderclap.

The force of the slap sent the Sword Master hurtling through the air. His body spun uncontrollably, blood spraying from his mouth as he crashed into the ground. The impact carved a crater into the earth, dust and debris exploding outward in a cloud.

When the dust settled, the Sword Master lay in the center of the crater, his face swollen, his body broken. Blood pooled beneath him, his sword impaled on the ground a few feet away.

Yun Wuji stood where he had been, his hand already back at his side as if he hadn't moved at all.

'Lord, what are you doing? How can a single slap be enough?! Go give him a few more!' Seeing Yun Wuji remain in place, Ming Peng roared internally.

He wanted 'equality' and 'democracy!' Since he had received such "great care" from Yun Wuji, he wanted the Sun Death Sword Master to enjoy the same treatment!

As if the heavens had heard his prayers, the moment the Sun Death Sword Master was sent flying by the slap, the Grand Elder and the others arrived and happened to witness the shocking scene. They froze in place, their souls almost leaving their bodies.

Their sect master, the strongest person in the East Territory, had just been sent flying... by a slap.

Although the shock was overwhelming, the Grand Elder was the first to recover. His face pale, his voice trembling, he cried out and rushed toward the crater, "Sect Master!!!"
