Attribute Farming System-Chapter 59: Spatial Sack
"Kuk! Kuk!! Cough!!!"
Knox had lost so much blood that even when he coughed, only weird gunk came out in chunks.
"Wait… F*ck… Was that a piece of an organ??"
He considered chasing after the chunk—because, well, he kind of needed it. But seeing as it had already rolled down a decent distance of the collapsed mountain he was on, he figured it had its own path in this life.
"Go on, organ chunk of mine," he said as a tear just barely managed to trickle down the less-mangled side of his face. "Be free. Live your best life! Go on! Go on now!! I-I don't want you anymore…! Go home…"
[What the hell are you doing, Dear Host? You're embarrassing me right now.]
Knox clicked his tongue—the moment ruined.
"You really are an uncultured System," he scowled. "Have you never watched a good movie in your life? To not get the reference is criminal…!"
[....]
[Here are your System Notifications.]
*Ding!*
"Hey," Knox said. "Don't think you can shut me up so easily—Ooh, shiny!"
BLING! BLING! BLING!
Vibrantly colored pillars of light blasted high into the sky—originating from the corpses of the 4th Demonic General, the Bear King, and all of the Bear King's Main Forces. These lights, which represented the appearance of Attribute Orbs, were accompanied by tons of System Notifications.
[You have slain an artificially cultivated Early Soul Formation Realm Cultivation Puppet!]
[You have slain a Pinnacle Half-step Soul Formation Realm Beast-kin Cultivator!]
[Hundreds of Beast-kin Cultivators ranging from the Golden Core to the Nascent Soul Realm have died by your hands!]
[A large-sized pile of Attribute Orbs has dropped!]
[Affinity +28,000]
[Strength +5,700,000]
[Agility +9,200,000]
[Mind +1,150,000]
[Perception +6,320,000]
X6250 more…
"Although the load is smaller this time and it wasn't enough to bring my Basic Battle Power into the Soul Formation Realm, it still tripled my strength," Knox said, feeling far more power coursing through his veins. "If I'm able to get my hands on the rest of those Demonic Generals, I might just be able to breach the wall that lets me into the Soul Formation Realm."
Imagine that—an Early Foundation Establishment Realm Cultivator with the ability to contend with Soul Formation Realm powerhouses while in base form.
"What was that, Master?"
"Nothing, nothing, kiddo," Knox replied, his hands clasped behind his back. "I'm just enjoying the view, is all."
"The view?" Rayzer asked, seeing nothing but gore and destruction. "What view, Master?"
Knox shook his head, slightly disappointed.
"You wouldn't understand, Rayzer," he said with a gaze that seemed to peer into the beyond. "Fighting and killing are not as barbaric as they appear. It's an art. And as an artist, it's only logical that there are some things that only I can see in my art."
"I see, Master…"
Rayzer took another good look at his surroundings, but except for a number of obliterated mountains and a few scattered limbs, nothing profound really stood out to him.
Then again, perhaps he really wasn't able to see things the way his Master could…
"Now, now," Knox said with an elderly air about him. "Don't look so disheartened. I vowed to you that I'd acquire a Heaven-rank Pill that would un-cripple you, and I don't plan to break that promise. Thus, you should think about that instead of trying to comprehend something that you'll never be able to."
"...Very well, Master," Rayzer said before walking around to Knox's back.
Dodging his advance, Knox blankly stared at him.
"What exactly do you think you're doing?"
"Piggyback…?"

*Thwack!*
"Stop with the gay sh*t, you dumb bastard," Knox reprimanded. "I'm not carrying you on my back!"
"...Then in your arms—?"
*Thwack!*
"What the hell are you—a princess!?" Knox growled angrily. "Just get the f*ck in the sack!"
"The sac—?"
Without giving his r*tarded subordinate the chance to question him, Knox picked Rayzer up by his raggedy-ass clothes and stuffed him into his magic sack.
To be specific, it was a Spatial Sack—worth thousands of Mid-rank Spirit Stones. Something he had 'borrowed' from the corpse of one of the Early Nascent Soul Realm Trial Participants he had sent to a better place.
What made Spatial Sacks so special—and why they cost so much more for the same amount of inner cubic space—was simple.
The capacity to hold living beings.
For that reason alone, Spatial Sacks were astronomically expensive—with even a few dozen cubic meter Spatial Sacks costing just about as much as a Low-level Clan.
These sacks also became one of the most popular items for kidnapping people, which—oddly enough—was another important reason behind why they were so expensive.
As for how someone with a cultivation as low as the Early Nascent Soul Realm came to own a valuable item like this one, Knox hadn't had the time to ask.
Because, ya know? Choppy, choppy, and stuff.
'But when you think about it,' Knox thought. 'I myself am only in the Foundation Establishment Realm yet possess items that would leave any number of Nascent Soul Realm experts drooling. So, in a way, it isn't all that weird that a Nascent Soul Realm weakling would have something like a Spatial Sack of this rarity.'
Anyhoo, after sacking Rayzer and finishing looting the Beast-kin and the destitute pockets of the Demonic General, Knox took off into the skies. He then sonic-boomed in the direction of a fortress he knew the location of—thanks to a map he had swiped from the Bear King's corpse.
Depicted on it were detailed drawings of every major area and notable location in all of Serpent's Basin.
'The Serpent's Basin is extraordinarily massive, so it will naturally take me a while to loot and farm all the good stuff,' Knox thought. 'But that's not a problem for me. If there's anything I have the most of in this world, it's time. And so, to become powerful enough as quickly as possible while also whittling down the Cobra Empress's forces, I have to really lock in.'
The grind waited for no man.
Knox's whole demeanor suddenly changed as his expression became as cold as ice, his killing intent palpable. The lives of millions were etched into his very existence, and the killing intent he emitted mirrored that same sea of blood and death.
A massive, looming, bloody scythe now hung over Serpent's Basin and the head of the Cobra Empress.
And all Knox had to do was become strong enough to wield it—and finish the job.
