When Queen Luna showed herself in such an outfit, it was obvious something was up.

"Before I met with you, I talked with the Head of the Healer Association. He told me what happened yesterday and I decided to apologize in his stead," Luna informed while watching him attentively. "Naturally, my apologies should go to the victim which would be your sister, right? Is she perhaps still in the Capital? I would love to meet her personally."

Liu Ye thought Luna was interested in him due to his high fame but he was quickly humbled. It was Zhenzhen's Healing Art she was after and thinking about it deeper, he wasn't that surprised. Recalling how the Emerald City tried to recruit him, it was only natural that other Empires would do that same.

What alarmed him more was how quickly and detailed the NPC's shared their information. They discovered that Zhenzhen was his sister and Queen Luna tried to reach her through him.

"She is indeed my sister but she had already left," Liu Ye replied honestly. "I will talk to her about this later and let her decide what she wants to do. For the time being though, I don't wish her to join any organizations."

Queen Luna squinted her eyes as he saw right through it and beckoned at him while patting the bed beside her. "Come here and sit down."

He hesitated for a second but she immediately added, "I'm not going to test you anymore. I just want to show you something."

It was just the plot of the game so Liu Ye sat down next to her without worries but then she alarmed him by placing her palm on his chest. He was about to question her when he fell on his back and saw the ceiling.

His eyes widened with curiosity at the gigantic map of the Mainland painted right above the bed. It had countless blade cuts that formed arrows and paths throughout the Mainland.

Liu Ye only needed a glance to know what it was.

"So the War is coming?" Liu Ye guessed as he gazed at Luna. "Is that why the Royal Envoys got killed?"

She turned to the side to look at him and smiled, "The Mainland was in peace for far too long, causing all four parties to feel greedy for more power. The war has been brewing for a while already and it won't be long before we see a full-scaled bloodbath."

Her words were implying a sad chain of events yet her smile didn't falter as if she was excited for this to happen. Liu Ye suddenly wondered about the possible results while gazing back at the map when Luna hugged him with her leg wrapping between his own.

"I don't want to be rude, but I will push you away," Liu Ye warned as he grabbed her wrist but Luna didn't care and used his shoulder as a pillow.

"You wanted to move on to business, right?" Luna questioned after wiggling her wrist out of his grasp. "I have a certain proposal for you if you are willing to listen to me."

'She is just an NPC…' Liu Ye repeated in his mind while taking a deep breath. "Sure, go ahead."

Liu Ye was already breaking his rules but knowing this was just a game, she couldn't do anything to him. Pushing her away would only ruin his chances of getting the hidden quest so he had to bear with it.

"You see, when I became the Queen of the Earth Empire, I was already hungry for more. Although my Earth Land is the biggest, it's mostly covered by the desert and it's resources are limited. I have been eyeing other lands and I'm not the only one," Luna explained while grazing on his chest with her nail. "Both the Fire and Water Empires are preparing for the war and their forces are growing with each day."

"So it's unavoidable," Liu Ye commented as he moved straight to the main topic. "What proposal do you have for me?"

The Mainland had millions of Players roaming around without any affiliation so it seemed like they would have to pick one Land in the near future. It put Liu Ye in a bad spot since he would love to be neutral and fight everyone equally.

"My request is simple. I want you to join my side and support me in the upcoming war," Luna proposed as she finally lifted herself up and climbed on top of him. "Of course, I want your sister to join me too. Healers are extremely valuable assets in times of war. You can treat it as a package deal."

"I warned you." Liu Ye finally snapped at her behavior and rolled them over before pinning her to bed. "Stop messing around and tell me what is it for me in this deal."

Luna stared him down instead of wrestling away and bit on her lips while smirking at him. "To think you would assault a Queen like this. Are you not afraid of consequences?"

"If you wanted to push me away you would," Liu Ye replied casually, knowing his limits. Being a beta with Luna wouldn't give him what he wanted.

Just as he thought, she actually enjoyed his aggressive side and let him grip onto her wrist as she listed down his benefits. "Not only will I provide you with 2000 gold every week and two items for the both of you, I will also make you a general of my army. I know you are still weak right now but your growth is impressive so I believe in you."

"I really appreciate this offer but I will have to reject it," Liu Ye replied before he even got an official notification. "Thank you for such trust but I have different plans."

"What do you want then?" Luna questioned while sharpening her gaze. "Do you want more money? More items? Name your price."

She tangled her legs around his waist and added, "Or maybe you want some entertainment instead?"

"That's not the reason." Liu Ye shook his head. "Although the money is nice, I simply don't want to join anyone. I prefer to work solo so if you want, you can hire me as a mercenary. Whatever it is that you need, I can do it."

Luna's eyes brightened. "Anything?"

Liu Ye could have expected such an answer and immediately corrected, "Anything that involves killing. I won't sleep with you."

"That makes me want it more," Luna muttered with a fierce gaze and pushed him to the side with ease. "Alright then, I want to hire you for a special mission."

She hopped off the bed with her butt bouncing on each step and stepped behind her closet curtains. "You probably know that the Mainland has thousands or even millions of benders roaming our lands. Most of them are not affiliated with anyone and other Empires will try to pouch them."

Luna threw her nightgown over the curtain and continued, "They will need a lot of money to pay for them so we need to strike them where it will hurt."

"And where is that exactly?" Liu Ye questioned curiously as he watched her walk out wearing tight leather armor with multiple Essence Crystals in its sockets.

"Follow me. We are about to do some killing."
