'Fuck… There is no way he is going to make it now…'

Three healers worked their magic on the black arm but they couldn't stop the venom from spreading. It already reached Zac's shoulder and even covered part of his chest. If not for the fact that it was his right arm, the venom would already reach his heart.

Liu Ye was only disappointed as he stood on the side of the bed. He made the man survive a whole hour as they carried him home and now he was close to dying. Why did he work so hard?

"Please, do something! He can't breathe!" the Old Lady begged the healers but they only frowned at her.

"Ma'am, we are doing the best we can but this is the King Scorpion's venom we are talking about," the older healer explained as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. "We are only beginner healers so we can only do so much."

Zac's HP was dropping at the max capacity already and he was only alive thanks to the Health Potions being constantly fed to him. Seeing that each healer only recovered 10 HP every second, Liu Ye couldn't help but lose his hope.

'Healing seems pretty useless at the early stages but might be overpowered once mastered,' Liu Ye wondered, hoping to at least get some knowledge out of it. The healers were Waterbenders since they were using water to heal the wound.

Liu Ye searched his Elemental Tree and sure enough, he found Healing as one of the separate branches. Even though he had the required level, it seemed like he needed a quest to unlock it which was probably a pain to both find and complete.

'Oh well, I guess one can't always succeed,' Liu Ye thought while finally accepting defeat. Losing a level and 50 fame was annoying but at least he got some of it back.

[Server Announcement! Player Grind God was the first to Solo Kill the Sand Canyon Field Boss: King Scorpion. Achievement Reward: 50 gold and 50 Fame.]

The announcements were stuck in his inbox this whole time and he finally accepted them. Even if he failed the quest, he would still be 50 fame ahead.

Liu Ye looked at Zac one more time and was about to busy himself with his 27 Player Bags when another notification pleasantly surprised him.

[Player Little Bunny is now available to contact.]

Liu Ye swiftly opened the message box and noticed Zhenzhen was already typing.

[Little Bunny: Big bro, we are outside. Let us in.]

[Grind God: Outside?]

Liu Ye couldn't help but raise his eyebrows in confusion only to hear a knock on the door.

"Who is this?" The Old Lady questioned and rushed to open the door. Sure enough, it was Katherine with a tanned beauty right behind her.

[Little Bunny - Lvl. 10]

[HP: 600/600]

[MP: 1600/1600]

Liu Ye was about to greet them when he shook his head in shock, for a second thinking that his vision was impaired. Zhenzhen's Health and Mana was truly insane for someone of her level.

"Big Bro! We are here to help," Zhenzhen called out happily and the Old Lady exploded with enthusiasm.

"Are you here to heal my Son? Please, tell me you are here to heal my son," Old Lady pleaded as she grabbed Zhenzhen's hands.

She was taken aback by the sudden touch but before Liu Ye could step in to explain, Katherine nodded as she patted Zhenzhen on her shoulder. "That's right, we were called by Grind God to help your son. Can you lead us to the patient?"

'Zhenzhen is a Healer?' Liu Ye thought surprised. Was this the talent Katherine was talking about?

"Are you really a healer?" the Old Lady asked excitedly and pulled them inside without any more questions. "Come, come, my son doesn't have a lot of time."

Zhenzhen only smiled assuringly at Liu Ye as she passed by him and walked towards Zac who was already barely breathing. His whole chest was black and the venom was eating him from inside.

"You are welcome," Katherine whispered as she stopped by his side. "I brought her to save you."

"You are totally cheating the game with her, aren't you?" Liu Ye exposed, finding no other explanation for Zhenzhen's boost of strength.

He expected her to shrug off the question but Katherine didn't hide it. "She is my pupil so of course I will spoil her a little. Don't worry though, it won't repeat again. The Game AI is already pissed off with me so I won't be able to break the rules anymore."

She winked at him and added, "You probably won't see me in-game for a little while so I will leave her in your care."

"What happened?" Liu Ye wondered but Katherine didn't reply anymore and approached the rest.

He couldn't help but think that the Game AI wasn't as simple as he thought. Wasn't the game in control of the developers?

Just as that thought crossed his mind, Liu Ye heard a commotion from the kitchen.

"All three of you, move away and let the better healer work," Katherine ordered coldly but the three healers immediately got offended.

"Are you trying to say that she is a better healer than us?" the oldest healer questioned angrily. "Get out before you cause the death of our patient. You are disturbing our fo—"

He wasn't able to finish as Liu Ye suddenly lashed at them with his Water Whip which threw them to the ground. They immediately looked up at him as if he just performed the worst crime yet he ignored them.

"Do your best," Liu Ye wished as he gave Zhenzhen the scene to shine. He knew those three were useless so she was his only hope left.

"Hai!" Zhenzhen nodded and covered Zac's chest with her own water. It momentarily turned green and began to shine as she began to heal with full focus.

Liu Ye found it hard to get used to her appearance but he could definitely see his sister in her. It was impossible to mistake Zhenzhen's energy once you lived with her long enough.

"How dare you!" the oldest Healer shouted as he stood up and glared at the Old Lady. "Don't ask us to ever come to heal anyone from your family ever aga—"

"Shut up!" Old Lady cut him off sternly as she scolded, "All three of you couldn't do anything yet one young lady could do so much within seconds. Just look!"

Zhenzhen healing seemed ten times more effective as she healed 100 HP every second. Zac's Hp was slowly ramping up and soon recovered fully. There was only one problem though.

"Why doesn't the blackness go away?" Zhenzhen muttered as Zac's HP kept dropping. Although she had stopped the venom from spreading, she didn't seem to know how to revert it back to normal.

The three healers immediately burst out laughing. "Do you think that King Scorpion's Venom is so easy to handle? Just cause you mastered Intermediate Healing doesn't mean you can heal the patient. You can keep him alive but it takes years of practice to actually solve the problem."

The Old Lady showed signs of hesitation as she looked at Zhenzhen which caused Liu Ye to step in. "As if you were doing better. The venom just kept on spreading further."

"That's because we were following the right procedures," the oldest Healer replied while rolling his eyes. "We had to first minimize the spreading before attempting to extract the venom. It's almost impossible to destroy it inside the body as it keeps on replicating using human blood. One cannot repair the tissue unless all the venom is taken out."

"Did you hear that Little Bunny?" Katherine asked at the same time as Zhenzhen's eyes lit up.

"I got it," Zhenzhen nodded eagerly and let her water sink inside Zac's body. "I have been trying to heal from the outside but I have to do it from the inside instead."

Just as she spoke, Zac suddenly shuddered and she withdrew her water. To everyone's surprise, it was filled with a black substance. Zhenzhen repeated the process multiple times and after the tenth try, Zac's HP began to drop at a slower rate.

Mhmm…

Zac has been unconscious this whole time but he finally showed some signs of life, rendering the three Healers speechless.

"Who is this girl..."

They no longer raged but instead looked at her closely and watched her every move.

The damage taken kept dropping until Zac didn't lose any more HP and could actually breathe normally. Only then did Zhenzhen sigh in relief.

"Where am I…?" Zac questioned as he opened his eyes and the old lady rushed to hug him into his arms.

"Wait!" Zhenzhen stopped her just in time and informed, "Please let me finish first. I still need to repair his tissue or else he will get an infection."

"Oh, okay," the old lady nodded and instead walked up to Liu Ye who was watching from the side. "Thank you for everything young man. I will definitely tell everyone about your bravery."

"It's a pleasure," Liu Ye nodded and accepted the gift box. He inspected it right away and found it was actually an outfit.

"Oh, are you a tailor by any chance?" Liu Ye questioned curiously.

"That's right. Is there a problem with the gift?"

Liu Ye shook his head and glanced at the hard-working Zhenzhen. "No problem at all. I just wondered if I can change it into something that will fit my sister. I think she deserves it more."

The old lady followed his gaze and nodded. "Let me see what I can do."
