Awakening the Daily Intelligence System-Chapter 723 - 303 Tense Tracking and Live Broadcasting Controversy
"Appearances can be deceiving," Lin Mo silently warned himself, discreetly following Emily White’s footsteps. "Judgment target confirmed." Soon, various crimes committed by Emily surged like a tide in Lin Mo’s mind.
As dusk fell, a massive black canvas enveloped New York City. The silence around the deserted factory on the outskirts of the city was eerily quiet, occasionally disturbed by the cry of a night owl, adding a sinister air to the atmosphere. Emily arrived at an old shack beside the abandoned factory.
Upon entering, she immediately took out her cellphone from her exquisite handbag and dialed a number. "Jack, you contacting me in such a hurry, is there a new deal?" Emily’s voice was gentle and seductive, with a hint of laziness. Jack, on the other end, paused for a moment and then spoke heavily, "There is a deal, but this time the client wants a kidney from a twelve-year-old boy born on a full moon night." Emily’s tongue slipped out to lightly lick her crimson lips, a sinister smile forming as she whispered, "No problem, and don’t waste the other organs. Jack, can you look for more buyers?" "Sure, but the police have been clamping down hard recently, be careful." Jack’s voice revealed a touch of concern. Hearing Jack’s words, Emily giggled seductively, "You always care so much, Jack. Can you stay a few more days with me when you bring the delivery this time, we…" She paused, intentionally letting out a couple of suggestive gasps, causing Jack to audibly swallow his saliva. "Okay! The delivery is still coming by sea, wait and see how I deal with you, little seductress." After hanging up, Emily was about to turn away when she felt something slip from her handbag to the ground. "What the hell is this!" Emily was startled, instinctively looking down, only to find a card lying quietly on the ground. Her complexion turned ghostly pale as she read the card’s content.

Emily had enjoyed watching yesterday’s live broadcast of Judgement. She knew Alexander and had even had some interactions with him and suffered his abuse; therefore, when she saw Alexander being dismembered, she laughed openly, secretly relieved that she had escaped such a fate.
But at this moment, as the Death Sentence suddenly appeared before her, Emily only felt a chill run from the soles of her feet to the top of her head, her hands uncontrollably beginning to tremble. She frantically looked around; the area was isolated and deadly silent, with no one in sight. Could it really be from the Dark Law Enforcer? The thought flashed through her mind, fear completely engulfing her. Emily turned and stumbled towards the outside of the house.
Just then, a sharp ringtone from her handbag startled her. "Ah! Help!" Emily screamed, her soul nearly leaving her body as she blindly ran forward several steps before realizing it was her phone ringing. She frantically stopped, fumbling to take out her phone and pressed the answer button, her voice tearful as she spoke: "Tom...Tom, I’ve received a Death Sentence!" Tom on the other end turned quite ugly upon hearing it was another Death Sentence. "How did you get it? Who gave it to you?" Tom’s voice carried urgency and anger. "I don’t know, I really don’t know, it just fell onto my hand as I was leaving the house. Tom, should I call the cops? I don’t want to die!" Emily’s voice was full of despair and fear. "Don’t call the police!" Tom almost roared, "If you call the police, we’re all screwed!" "What should I do then? I always walk here. There’s neither village ahead nor store behind; not calling the police is like waiting to die!" Emily broke down sobbing. "Go back to the house and wait, I’m sending someone over now. Damn it, today I must catch the murderer who killed my brother!" After saying this, Tom furiously hung up the phone.
Paler than paper, Emily now resembled a startled bird, constantly looking around, her eyes filled with fear and despair. Although her legs were weak, the instinct to survive still drove her to run back into the house with trembling steps. Upon returning, she frantically locked all the doors and windows, but the fear inside, like a surging tide, kept spreading, nearly suffocating her...
Meanwhile, at the New York Police Department, the head of the Homicide Squad, Alex Johnson, was sitting solemnly at his desk, scrutinizing a report on the live murder case when his phone suddenly rang—it was his informant. "Alex, I’ve got news; Emily White seems to be in trouble." The informant’s voice was mysterious. "Emily White? The woman suspected of trafficking human organs? What kind of trouble?" Alex’s spirit picked up immediately. "I heard she received a Death Sentence, just like the one Alexander received." The informant spoke in a low voice. "What? A Death Sentence?" Alex stood up in astonishment, "Are you sure about your information?" "Absolutely certain, I just received the tip." The informant confirmed. "Okay, got it. Let me know immediately if there are any updates." Alex hung up, deep in thought. He knew the appearance of this Death Sentence meant that the Dark Law Enforcer was planning another move, and he needed to find the Dark Law Enforcer fast, to prevent the execution from happening...
