Awakening with two legendary Summons-Chapter 83: SUMMONS Thief
Chapter 83: SUMMONS Thief
Seeing the student—who everyone once believed to be dead—standing before them left the entire class, including Henry, completely stunned.
Mike, on the other hand, made sure to scan the room carefully. He took his time to observe every single person, but this wasn’t just out of curiosity. He did it for Ravin. His sister was in class 1—B, and while he longed to see her again, he chose to prioritize her safety above everything else.
Sergeant Henry, frozen in disbelief for a long second, finally snapped out of his daze. He rushed toward Mike, his footsteps thundering across the silent room. When he reached him, he didn’t speak. He simply grabbed Mike by the shoulders, gripping firmly, almost as if trying to verify if the boy standing before him was truly real. He pressed slightly, testing his tangibility.
Then, his gaze locked with Mike’s eyes.
The silence between them was heavy—suffocating even.
Finally, Henry turned back to the class and said with commanding authority:
"Class is dismissed. All of you are free to go."
Without another word, he lifted Mike effortlessly off the ground, hoisting him up onto his broad shoulder like a wounded soldier from the battlefield.
Mike didn’t resist.
Henry had no idea what Mike’s current condition was. He hadn’t received word about the stolen summon. All that went through his mind was the instinctive drive to protect an injured student. He couldn’t explain why Mike looked half-alive, thin to the bone, yet standing on his own. The only thing that mattered to him at that moment was getting help—and fast.
He draped Mike onto his shoulder and charged out of the classroom like a soldier carrying a dying comrade to safety, his heavy boots pounding against the floor with urgency.
Back in the classroom, despite the heavy tension that had just unfolded, the students slowly began to buzz with excitement. After all, thanks to Mike’s sudden reappearance, they had been spared another soul-draining lecture.
Many of them stood to their feet, the shock on their faces slowly transforming into half-smiles of relief. Yet, despite the levity, the unanswered question lingered in their minds:
Why is Mike alive?
How did he survive?
And why does he look like he’s been dragged through hell and back?
Kairos and Carlos, however, didn’t join in the excitement. Their eyes were locked on each other from across the room.
A silent message passed between them.
They both had the same thought.
And they both knew the same truth.
This... wasn’t good. Not at all.

Meanwhile;
Sergeant Henry, with his massive frame and agile strides, reached the infirmary in mere minutes. Despite the distance and the weight of the boy on his shoulder, he wasn’t the slightest bit out of breath. His years of training at Titanfang and during war had honed his body into a peak condition, prepared for moments exactly like this.
Before the infirmary door, he grabbed the cold metallic knob and twisted it with urgency, flinging it open with enough force to rattle the hinges.
The room was quiet—eerily so.
At the far end, Silver sat on a stool, her head resting heavily against the table in front of her. She was sound asleep, her breath soft, her body slouched in the kind of exhaustion only overwork could deliver.
But Henry didn’t care for subtlety.
"Wake up, Silver!!!" he bellowed, his voice crashing through the silence like a war cry.
The reaction was instant.
Silver jolted up with a gasp, stumbling off her chair and spinning around wildly as if she were under attack. Her hand even went to her side as if reaching for a weapon.
When her eyes finally landed on Henry, her entire body slumped with frustration.
"Why is it always yelling with you? Don’t you see I’m trying to sleep—"
Before she could finish her sentence, Henry had already dropped Mike down in front of her. He gently propped the boy upright, making sure Silver got a good look at his face.
She froze.
Her eyes widened in an instant, and the haze of sleep vanished from her features. But her shock wasn’t from seeing a presumed-dead student alive.
No. Her reasons were different.
’That bastard! Why did he let Mike out?’ she cursed in her thoughts as she climbed to her feet. ’Come to think of it... what the hell do I even say to him?’
Silver knew the truth. The entire military base wanted Mike’s survival to remain classified—especially the fact that he had been subjected to experimentation. The look on Henry’s face told her everything: Mike hadn’t said a word. Henry was still in the dark.
"Bring him closer," she commanded, regaining her composure.
Henry complied without question, moving Mike toward her with gentle precision.
Mike didn’t protest. He moved exactly as they instructed—quiet, obedient... robotic. To him, this was just part of Ravin’s master plan. Henry’s sudden appearance and removal of him from class? A ploy. Returning to Silver now? A setup. And the destination?
The White Room again.
To Mike, this was a return to the shadows—a place where hope didn’t exist.
He was right.
But only partially.
Henry still had no clue what was really going on.
Silver directed Mike to sit on the infirmary bed. She began running tests—simple diagnostics to check vitals and neurological response. Mike remained quiet. Unblinking.
Henry, who had been watching silently, eventually grew bored and attempted to lighten the mood.
"Why were you sleeping on the job?" he asked with a faint smirk.
Silver shook her head, her eyes fixed on her instruments.
"I wasn’t sleeping on the—" she started with irritation, but quickly stopped herself. She adjusted her tone, slightly softer now. "There have been sightings in the marketplace. At night... body parts. Hands, legs, trails of blood. But no actual body. It’s almost like a maniac is throwing human parts around just to watch the chaos."
Henry’s jaw tightened.
He’d been stationed here for years. Titanfang had always been strange, but this... this was a new level of disturbing.
"And all students are still accounted for?"
"Exactly," Silver replied. "It’s... weird. Even for us."
There was a brief silence before Silver cleared her throat.
"I’m going to need you to leave now," she said politely but firmly. "I can’t work with your noise, I’m sorry."
Henry raised a brow. He wanted to argue, but she was the head of the infirmary. Ignoring her orders would only cause more problems.
With a respectful nod, he turned and left. His heavy boots echoed across the infirmary floor until the door clicked shut behind him.
Now alone, Silver turned back to Mike, still seated like a lifeless doll on the bed.
’I wonder what that other scientist is doing right now... to have let Mike out.’

Meanwhile;
Ravin Elteth sat at his desk, surrounded by flickering screens.
Each monitor played the same video, but from slightly different angles, zoom levels, and focal points.
He watched all of them at once, his eyes darting with analytical precision. Not a blink. Not a twitch went unnoticed. His fingers gripped a pen tightly, scribbling notes on a weathered piece of paper.
It was footage from Mike’s other eye—the hidden lens he had installed. And Ravin studied every student’s reaction, dissecting their facial expressions, their micro-movements... everything.
He already knew their names. Knew their faces. Knew their habits. He had memorized the entire class long before Mike re-entered the room.
Now, he began writing down the names of those whose reactions raised red flags.
After a long few minutes, he pulled his eyes from the screens and looked down at the paper.
Three names.
Only three.
’Out of these three... one is the Summon thief,’ he thought, carefully folding the paper and tucking it into his coat pocket.
’Time to go hunting.’
On the list, the second name written was Kairos.
The first name?
A female.
Someone Kairos had become quite fond of.
And she would be his first target.
