Back to the 80s: Raising my Wolfy Boyfriend-Chapter 517: Ajin, Let’s Not Go Overboard
He liked seeing Gu Jin show her most genuine side in front of him.
Only then did he feel secure, understanding that he was different to her.
Gu Jin pounced on him to hit, but how could An Mingji just sit and take it? With a swift movement, he flipped over the couch using just one hand.
If he hadn’t dodged, at most Gu Jin would have ruffled his hair for fun.
But since An Mingji got away, she was immediately furious: "You little rascal, don’t run!"
This wasn’t something that could be solved by casually ruffling his hair a couple of times.
If she didn’t catch him within five minutes, she wouldn’t let this brat off!
As Gu Jin chased him over the couch, An Mingji ran toward Duoduo, complaining as he went: "Gu Jin, don’t you know a man’s head isn’t for just anyone to touch?"
Listen to that pitifully soft voice. If it were anyone else, they might not bear to refuse.
But Gu Jin had a special fondness for his head.
Or you could say, An Mingji’s soft hair was something she couldn’t get enough of.
"No way!"
Gu Jin chased after him, resolutely refusing.
Well then! An Mingji could only keep running.
Even though he knew running was futile, not running meant he’d definitely suffer more next time.
Getting caught too easily by Gu Jin would just make it happen even quicker next time.
The two of them ran around the room, playing a game of cat and mouse, even Duoduo was stirred by its two owners.
It crawled out from its nest to see them playing and ran behind them, howling occasionally.
"Awoo awoo—"
Goodness! With the two and a dog running and chasing each other, accompanied by Duoduo’s howls, it was quite the lively scene.
"Thump thump thump—"
The door was knocked amidst their chase.
"Gu Jin, open the door."
Outside stood Gu Jiajie and Gu Minmin.
As Gu Jiajie came upstairs, he heard Duoduo’s howls.
Having seen Duoduo often these past two years, he could tell its howls were playful.
The voice of her cousin outside reached Gu Jin’s ears, but she didn’t let An Mingji off the hook just yet.
Meanwhile, An Mingji thought the battle between them was put to a halt, yet unexpectedly, as soon as he stopped, she quickly charged at him.
Charge she did, but stopping was another matter.
Seeing the panic on her face, obviously forgetting her own abilities, he spread his arms and caught her directly into his embrace.
Crisis averted, Gu Jin just hung onto him, reaching out with her hands to assault the boy’s hair.
An Mingji’s hairstyle was ruined, just like that, under her hands.
That wasn’t enough; she even continued to tousle it like she would with Duoduo’s fur any other day.
To prevent Gu Jin from falling, An Mingji held her firmly in place.
He enjoyed the intimacy between them but helplessly requested, "Gu Jin, let’s stop there."
"No way, you made me chase you for so long! Not retaliating doesn’t quell my anger!"
Gu Jin continued to play with his hair recklessly, finally stopping when it was a complete mess, like a bird’s nest.
"Thump thump—"
"Gu Jin, open the door!"
The knocking continued, as Gu Jiajie called from outside.
Gu Jin finally noticed that their position seemed a bit off.
She glanced down, meeting the boy’s deep eyes that seemed infinite, like a pool.
For some reason, her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly jumped to the ground, turning to head straight for the door without further thought. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
She opened the door, and Gu Jiajie along with Gu Minmin, carrying heaps of bags, entered the room.
Gu Jiajie asked, "What were you doing? Why did it take you so long to open the door?"
