Chen Gang barely remembered the scenery he saw from the viewing platform. Instead, he remembered the vivacious expression of Lu Weiyi and the fragrant scent that wafted from her whenever she came close.

Lu Weiyi was clearly skilled as a tour guide. She showed Chen Gang the viewing platform of the Shen Harbour and detailed the view from above, pointing out each building vista.

Lu Weiyi then went to buy squabs and rice noodles, as well as juice, and they sat in the car to eat.

"This squab is very famous. You must try it. Once you return to the Tibetan Area, you’ll definitely miss it." Lu Weiyi wore a disposable glove, tore off a squab leg for Chen Gang and passed it to him. Suddenly, she remembered something and exclaimed, "Ah, I only wore one glove. Lu Weiyi’s eyes curved happily as she said, "Of course it’s tasty. Don’t eat too much though. I’m going to treat you to a seafood banquet tonight. It will be even better than this."

After finishing the squab, Lu Weiyi and Chen Gang shared the rice noodles. The soup from the noodles dripped onto the corner of her mouth, which she licked off with her pink tongue.

Caught in the sight, Chen Gang felt a sudden tightness in his throat. He coughed unnaturally, digging out a tissue to hand to Lu Weiyi.

Lu Weiyi casually accepted the tissue and wiped her mouth, asking, "Did you come alone or with your comrades? Would you like to give them a heads up before we head towards the beach?"

Chen Gang nodded: "I should call them. They don’t need to wait for me for dinner."

Lu Weiyi drove Chen Gang to the hotel, parked the car, and smiled, "Hurry up and give them a call. I’ll wait for you in the parking lot."

When Chen Gang entered his room, he saw his room-mate, Li Tao, had already returned. He greeted Li Tao before preparing to go downstairs.

Li Tao curiously asked, "I didn’t expect you to have friends in Shen City, Chen."

Chen Gang ignored Tao’s curiosity and went downstairs.

Peering from the room window, Li Tao saw Chen Gang stopping in front of a red sedan, talking to a short-haired girl standing there. The girl laughed and got into the passenger seat, with Chen Gang settling into the driver’s seat.

Li Tao murmured to himself, "Wow, Chen really knows how to surprise us. This girl is obviously from a rich family. I wonder how they hooked up."

When Sun Meng called Tao for afternoon tea and Chen Gang was not back yet, he asked curiously, "Where’s Chen?"

Li Tao replied, envy seeping from his voice: "Chen is on a date with a lovely woman, and he won’t return for dinner."

With her face paling, Sun Meng chided, "Stop talking nonsense. Who would Chen know in this place?"

Li Tao shrugged impassively, pointing downwards to say, "It’s true. Just now, a beautiful and perfectly built short-haired woman came by car to pick up Chen."

Upon hearing ’short-haired, beautiful woman,’ Sun Meng instantly remembered the beautiful doctor she met in the Tibetan Area a year ago. Her heart sank. If it was her, she wouldn’t have a chance.

Lu Weiyi had no sense of direction. Even when she drives, she wanders around. Hence, Chen Gang drove the car as per Lu Weiyi’s instructions.

Throughout the journey, Lu Weiyi was speaking non-stop to Chen Gang, "I think we’re on the wrong route. It doesn’t look like the route to Damesha. Maybe we’ve taken the wrong way."

Lu Weiyi pouted, sighing, "I’ve had this poor sense of direction since I was young. When my father asked me over the phone if there were any landmark buildings around, I replied, ’I see a flyover, which says ’height limit four meters.’ He almost threw the phone in anger. When he asked in what direction the car was facing, I replied, ’The car faces forward.’ Again, my father was angry and remaining silent on the phone for three minutes."

Chen Gang burst out laughing, his tone oddly indulgent: "You should always carry a map with you when you go out. If the destination is far away, don’t drive. It’s too dangerous."

Lu Weiyi chuckled, "That’s what my father told me as well. Therefore, I usually only drive to work. For distant locations, I take the subway or bus."

When they reached the beach, it was already three or four in the afternoon. There weren’t many people on the beach.

As Lu Weiyi got out of the car, she almost cursed as she noticed her ex-boyfriend making out with a woman under the nearby palm tree. She quickly got back in the car.

As Chen Gang was about to get out, he found Lu Weiyi returning to the car and asked, "What happened? Why did you get back in?"

Lu Weiyi looked at Chen Gang seriously from the corner of her eyes. She noticed that her ex-boyfriend was approaching, holding the same woman in his arms.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" Lu Weiyi asked abruptly.

Chen Gang shook his head, "No."

"Alright, now you have one." As soon as Lu Weiyi finished her sentence, she threw herself at Chen Gang and kissed him on his lips.

Lu Weiyi let out a cute squeal, "You bit me! It hurt. As long as you don’t regret it, I definitely won’t." Lu Weiyi thought that since she had dreamt of Chen Gang all year, she must like him. Today’s sudden excitement on seeing Chen Gang affirmed her feelings.

Again, Chen Gang lightly licked Lu Weiyi’s lips and huskily said, "From now on, there would be no regrets."
