Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven-Chapter 323: Wilflower
The two of them wondered if she would harm him to harvest his blood as well, she saw through their thoughts.
She giggled, " Fear not little one, this old lady with not harm you, on the contrary I want to help you.
Of course I will need you to do something for me in return." Both Naledi and Ved grew tense but waited for her to continue. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
" I need a bit of your essence blood, do not worry, I will not take enough to damage your foundation.
In exchange I will give you something that will hide the aura of both her divinity and the dense life aura in you."
Ved pretended to think about it, Naledi looked at him trying to signal him to say no. However he knew that was impossible.
Peaceful as Dryads were, as life attributed beings, he didn’t know how they would react to get his essence blood.
She might just kill him for it, Ved knew why his blood was like that, he didn’t want to admit it before but he was forced to now.
His image did not feel like a true image but like a separate entity entirely. He was certain it was the reason his blood had the life aura.
Probably from the life essence it creates, " I’ll do it." This caught both of them by surprise, Naledi looked at him with disapproving eyes.
" Are you sure? You know this will weaken you for some time right?" The Dryad asked with a confused voice, it seemed she had expected him to say no.
Ved nodded, " It’s better than being a walking beacon now isn’t it?" She nodded like that made sense.
" Let begin." She floated up and placed her hand on his giant forehead. His body was significantly larger than hers in his true form.
" This will hurt a little so be prepared little one, my name is Wilflower by the way." Before Ved could say anything he felt a stabbing pain in his head.
It was so painful it made his mind numb, he tried to scream but no voice came out. The process lasted what felt like months to him but it was merely 2 minutes.
" Done." Wilflower told him with a smile and excited voice. Ved opened his eyes, they were blurry which was rare for a person of his power.
He didn’t suffer soul damage but his mind was super exhausted. He still felt a piercing headache.
Wilflower landed back down, in her hand was fiat sized pure green ball. It was his blood essence.
However it was strange, blood essence was naturally gold in colour not green, he looked around and saw the grass and trees around them sway like they were dancing.
They grew stronger and more lustrous, flowers bloomed around them creating a beautiful field of colourful flowers hundreds of metres all around them.
Even Ved was surprised by this, he knew his blood had the power to heal and strengthen constitution but he had no idea what his essence blood can do.
" Rest, we’ll discuss our deal tomorrow." She turned around and disappeared. Ved and Naledi were given a tree house.
It was large enough to accommodate his massive size. He slept the moment he got inside.
Naledi watched him with worry, she looked at the massive tree where Wilflower lived and hoped she was telling the truth.
She too realised how powerful his essence blood was, she knew he would certainly be killed if others found out.
Wilflower lay on her bed of flowers watching the huge green liquid orb. Her bed grew larger due to its presence.
At first she thought his blood was a bit special but after seeing it, she knew it was more than that.
Even with her wood laws she couldn’t decipher the laws inside this thing. She had tried to hide its aura so it wouldn’t effect its surroundings but failed.
She wondered how that boy doesn’t create forests everywhere he went. Her biggest issue was how to create something to hide his aura.
She knew she had overestimated her power or rather underestimated the power of his blood.
She sighed, she didn’t want to do this but it was the only way for her to keep her promise, she was a prideful woman and couldn’t stand not keeping her promise, especially to children.
She disappeared into a puff of flowers which flew through the sky faster than light. She was heading towards another forest, a much larger forest.
There lived the strongest of them, the supreme ruler of the Dryads, the only sovereign of their race and her mother.
The first of the Dryads was said to have been created by the tree of origin, Yggdrasil itself.
However it isn’t the case for others, while they are called tree spirits they’re not spirits at all.
They do have wood nature to them but they reproduce like other races, through mating. Dryads were a race of only women.
So when time comes for them to have a child, they seek a mate they take a liking to from other races.
No matter which race they reproduce with, the product will always be a pure blooded Dryad.
Of course the only exception are mythical and divine beasts like dragons and phoenix, especially dragons, mating with those can create a mixed child, perhaps even one who’s more dragon than Dryad.
Wilflower was actually a princess of the Dryads, the youngest of five daughters of their queen.
She’s also the weakest of her sisters and the most rebellious. Because of their pure wood essence.
The five princesses were forbidden by their mother to leave her side, she couldn’t take that and left anyways.
She hasn’t actually seen her mother in 15 thousand years, she really dreaded the meeting.
A few hours later she saw the biggest forest she had ever seen, it was even bigger than when she lived here.
As soon as she drew close she felt an overwhelmingly powerful will scan her, she knew that was her mother.
She didn’t stop and continued flying, she stopped above a tree so vast it made hers look like a tiny blade of grass.
She flew up to its canopy like a whirlwind of pink flowers. She flew into a beautiful tree house and found five people sitting around a table.
They were eating a fruit salad made of fruits so valuable if a mortal ate a piece of them they would reach rank 4 immediately if they did not explode from the energy.
Each fruit was at the very least a rank 7 natural elixir that contained such dense laws she can visible see them floating above the tray.
" Mother." She bowed in her mother’s direction, then turned towards her older sister’s.
" Hi you old whores."
