A week passed, Naledi had been living with this family for a week. They gave her food and actually treated her very well.

The boy was still hiding the apples, even after a week they were still very fresh. Naledi had also checked on the cave.

There she found weaklings and left them be since their presence didn’t seem like it disturbed Ved.

While living here she realised the grass around the village had grown taller and stronger.

The villagers cut it down but it grew back the following day. This confused them but she understood.

Ved’s life aura was being drawn to this village all the way from the cave. The apples the boy had taken seemed to be acting like a magnet to the life energy.

Another week passed and the aura had completely surrounded the village. When she used her soul sense she saw the entire village glowing green.

Those who were sick or too elderly to move found themselves growing stronger, the crops in the village grew faster and healthier.

Naledi sighed, ’ This will cause a ruckus.’ she thought about sealing the aura off but chose against it.

As Ved’s image grow stronger it will be harder to hide this aura. The real reason though was because of this village. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

The people here were kind but they were struggling, Ved’s aura was helping them, she didn’t want to take that away.

The village people started talking which agitated the village chief who wanted to reap the benefits from this situation.

The boy eventually ate one of the apples, Naledi watched from the corner. Then he started screaming drawing the attention of his parents.

They took him inside and found his body was burning up. Naledi did not react, she could see what was happening.

His entire body was infused with dense life energy. It was strengthening his soul and vital essence.

The boy was growing stronger, this process lasted hours. When it was done he stood up, his hair had grown longer and more lustrous.

Naledi measured his power, while he wasn’t an awakened his vital energy alone gave him a body strong enough to challenge rank 1 vessel holders.

The boy also realised what happened to him though he didn’t understand it. He immediately took the other seven apples and gave two to each member of his family.

He was only left with one, Naledi admired what he did, most would’ve hidden the apples for themselves.

He asked his family to eat them then tried to give Naledi the last one. She refused but he insisted.

Eventually she took it, she intended to reward this kindness. After his family each at an apple.

They too grew much stronger. Naledi left without telling them, she appeared inside Ved’s cave.

She hugged the giant egg and stayed like that for a while. The egg felt warm like his embrace.

" Who are you?" She heard a voice behind her. She knew who it was but she did not care.

Her will covered the entire cave, she used it to gather the life essence, while it was not as pure as the life drops Ved’s mage can create.

It was still powerful enough to grow these plants in this cave. The life essence became a green drop in her hand.

Then she took the seeds of multiple plants here while ignoring the village chief who was barking at her.

She knew what this fool had done, his village could’ve prospered but he chose to invite others here in the end.

The village chief drew his saber and was about to attack when his body froze. No matter how hard he tried he couldn’t move.

Fear gripped his heart, he knew this woman was way above him, probably at a golden core realm.

Naledi found the cultivation system here ridiculous. At rank 3 they condensed their essence to a core.

However this actually limited the volume of the essence they can contain which weakened them instead.

It was also baffling that they needed to do that when the original cultivation system was so perfect.

They still needed vessels to cultivate yet tried to draw their system away from vessels, it was as if they were trying to be independent of them.

She shook her head at their foolishness, her body disappeared leaving the old village chief there sweating bullet.

He tried to remember the person who was here but he failed. He couldn’t even remember if they were a man or woman.

If Ved was here he could’ve done this even easier than she could. The dog bowed its head to her.

She took it and flew back then sneaked into the village under the cover of the night. Before going into the house she planted the fruits in the backward.

Then she knocked, when the boy opened the door and saw the dog, his face turned red with excitement.

He tried to hide it but Naledi easily saw through the thought of a child. Even this boy’s parents were mere children to her.

" This is for you, for the apple?" The boy started shaking with excitement.

" Muyang ren, what do we say?" His mother admonished him, Muyang bowed towards Naledi.

" Thank you Lanse Yaoiji." This is what they called her since she didn’t give them her name.

She smiled softly but didn’t say anything, she sent her will to the demonic dog to behave , she made it hide its power.

It is to reveal itself only to protect this boy and what he holds dear. After that, they ate then she told them she was leaving, they were disappointed but sent her off with a goodbye.

She could already feel some fools coming this way. She didn’t want to end up killing one of them by mistake when they piss her off because she was they will.
