"All right, Luxoria fans," she said, spinning once mid-air with a grin.

Below, the stage lights flared on.

From the far side of the arena, the gate opened.

A tall tamer walked onto the stage, wearing a long gray cloak and heavy armor.

Beside him, his Vornis stomped out slowly.

The crowd leaned in, and the cameras zoomed close.

Fiona's eyes narrowed behind her visor.

The Vornis… looked almost exactly like the base version.

Same steel lion form, same sharp claws, same shape.

The only difference?

It had a few added weapons bolted onto its shoulders.

Two small cannons and a sharpened tail extension.

Fiona tilted her head.

"Hmmm…"

The Vornis roared once, then stood in place, posing.

The crowd clapped politely.

"Nice entrance," Fiona said calmly, floating lower.

"But let's be honest…"

"It's still a little too close to the original."

She gave a small wave to the crowd as she walked forward.

Right beside her came something unexpected.

A Vornis, but not like the last one.

This one was pink.

The armor plates shimmered with a soft rose hue.

Its mane looked almost like silk threads, glowing gently as it moved.

Small ribbons of light floated behind its legs like decorative streamers.

Its eyes sparkled with a crystal-like shine.

The crowd gasped.

Even Fiona's eyes widened a little. "Ohhh—now this is different."

She turned toward the glowing arena gate.

"Let's not waste time and get ready for contestant number three!"

The gate slowly opened, revealing the third contestant.
