Many eminents and reverends from august and sacred houses witnessed the sight and shook their heads in resignation, immensely looking down on House Qitian. "If your sister and wife can heavily wound the valley lord, they'll make your path ahead much easier! Nobody but the valley lord is your greatest threat right now," the old patriarch reminded his son.

"I got it," Suishen Ranxing coldly said. He was fighting Qitian Muyu, the second strongest in House Qitian. Qitian Muyu had always had an edge over him, but this time around, he couldn't escape Suishen Ranxing no matter how hard he tried.

"Suishen Ranxing, is your house trying to dominate?" Qitian Muyu angrily said, staring at him.

"What? Are we not allowed to?" Suishen Ranxing said.

"If House Qitian and House Yumo are weakened, do you think you alone will be able to keep all of Myriadpath Valley under your rule?"

"I suppose you'll have to see for yourself... if you're lucky enough to survive, that is." Suishen Ranxing's eyes were filled with unshakeable determination.

Qitian Muyu furrowed his brow when he noticed that his foe had a conviction that was totally different from before. He seemed to have a sovereign air about him, appearing much more terrifying than the vengeance-filled Yumo Diyan. As he thought that, he suddenly heard shocked cries coming from the crowd. Suishen Jiguang and Suishen Xiyue's fight against the tensource beast had reached its climax.

"Go! You can't even take care of yourself now, let alone your dad!" his ninesource beast kirin cried.

"Fine!" Qitian Muyu used his most potent escape technique. The battle still continued moving in the direction of Qitian Cave as more and more Qitians managed to flee there. The tensource beast, who couldn't flee even if it wanted to, became the center of attention of the battlefield, its roars bright and clear.
