Evangeline's eyes fluttered open, looking at the blurry white ceiling. "I need to go to the washroom..." she said, her eyes pleading.

Nate rolled his eyes and sighed. "Seriously?" he thought, feeling the weight of the situation. What am I capable of? But now, what the hell am I doing? babysitting and pampering her? He sighed, shaking his head, but quickly pushed the frustration aside. Okay, Nate, you can do this. Just a mission...

With a patient exhale, he carefully helped her up, his hands surprisingly gentle as he guided her toward the luxurious bathroom. "Hey, you okay there? " he asked after a long wait, confirming she hadn't lost her balance.

"Yeah... I just took a little nap," she murmured while pressing the flushing mechanism. She walked unsteadily, pulled out the handle of the door, and came outside.

"You took a long time," he whispered, watching her unsteady condition. "Don't be a stubborn kid and go and sleep on my bed. I am leaving, " he said and turned towards the entrance.

Evangeline felt still dazed, accidentally stepped on the wrong foot, and wrapped her arms around him in a surprisingly tight hug. Without warning, she collapsed onto the bed, pulling him down with her.

" Shit! I don't know how to deal with a drunken girl," Nate muttered in a low voice. "It's not as easy as handling my company files, that's for sure. "

Nate moved her, slowly pushing her aside. He stood from his bed and took a deep breath, adjusting his shirt. Eve lay peacefully asleep on Nate's bed, her breathing steady, her features calm and unguarded. Nate glanced at Eve, his thoughts conflicting. "Even though you're naive, you've got a really poor past, I think..." He shook his head, pushing the thought aside. What am I doing? It's just my mission, that's all.

Nate stood nearby, his phone in hand, the screen illuminating his face as he adjusted the angle. He quietly snapped a few photos, capturing her vulnerability with deliberate shots. His unreadable expression mixed focus with something darker.

After a moment, he opened his messaging app and selected a contact, Dad's Assistant, Nick. He attached the photos without hesitating, and he proudly said, "I'm already in the process, Dad."

His thumb hovered over the send button. A smirk played on his lips before he pressed it. The message is sent, and the screen displays a small checkmark as confirmation.

Outside, the wind was heavy, Thunder and lightning flashing and booming, and Rain lashing against the grimy glass of the phone booth. The street was silent.

Inside a booth, a slight figure swallowed by a dark hoodie dialed a number quickly, covering with black gloves. Her breath was steady and clear, and a single drop traced a path through the raindrops clinging to the glass.

As the phone rang, A huge palm grabbed the phone from the wooden cupboard, The streetlamp cast harsh shadows across the scar on his left jaw.

"Papa," she whispered, her voice mixed with the outside rain sound, "Finally, they met each other. Now the game is going to be interesting and fun."

A brief silence followed at each end, the sound of rain the only thing audible. "Good job," a voice replied in the dark, and a dragon tattoo on his forearm was visible in the outside lamp. "Our lives became hell because of them. We don't have to target them; we target their happiness."

A girl nodded, gripping the phone tightly, "I know, Papa. I am going to get Daisy again- A Little gift for my friend," she said with venom in her eyes.

"Be careful, Zoey, I will be in 6 months," he said and added before cutting off the call, "Take care."

"You too, Grandpa," Zoey said, ending the call, placing the phone down, and removing her hoodie. Her mind was racing with Evangeline's incident today, watching her phone screen, tracking Evangeline's location. Evangeline stepped into the hallway the signal blinking on Zoey's phone.

Zoey started to cry when the red dot remained in the same place. She hugged Luna's shoulder, a sob escaping. " I knew, but I love him. It's not my fault..." The words were a lie she told, her voice trembling, but a smirk appeared across her lips.

Another incident flashed back. Zoey, wearing a red bikini dress, cold water, hot weather casually swimming, asked, watching Evangeline from the side, "how long you and Aaron knew each other."

Evangeline was watching Aaron, who casually chatting with his friends. "I don't know; we've known since childhood," she said, her smile lit up in water reflection.

Then, Zoey cried on Evangeline's shoulder, holding a crumpled paper, "I am the unluckiest person ever. Even I can't afford a small thing in this world," she hissed as a broken girl.

Evangeline held her hands and said, "You have me, Zoey. Don't hesitate to ask anything, mine is now yours."

At Lisa's house party, while Juliet was drinking her shot, everyone cheered, "Drink... drink..." with all eyes on her. But Zoey used her chance to mix the drug in a nearby placed 7th glass.

After reaching Zoey's house, Luna carefully placed her in her bed, said, "Good night, Zoey," and left her room. After a brief moment, watching a Luna car leaving from her gate, she immediately removes her dress and changes into a black hoodie and White sneakers.

"Game starts now," she murmured, a chilling promise. a smirking remained wasn't playful; it was predatory.

Eve opened her eyes, blinking against the soft sunlight streaming through the glass window of the unfamiliar room. The ceiling looked different, and the surroundings felt cozy yet modest, unlike the rich interior she was used to. Confused, she sat up and rubbed her temples, glancing around. Everything was neat and perfect.

"Where am I? she muttered. I should be in my room..."

The door opened with a broken silence, and Nate walked in, casually holding a steaming cup of coffee, the strong aroma spread over the room. "Well, well, look who finally woke up," he said with a smirk on his face. "Coffee? Or do you want to ask me a hundred questions first?"

Eve glared at him, who was standing without a shirt with his fit muscular body only just covered by pants. "What... What the hell are you doing here?" her words trembling, watching his half-naked body." And where am I?"

Nate leaned against the doorframe, sipping his coffee. "Huh! Relax, Evangeline. You're in my room."

She still looked confused, staring at him without taking her eyes off his body.

"Don't tell me you don't remember anything from last night."
