Billionaire's Long Journey of Chasing His Love-Chapter 83 - 078 Yi Luowa, Don’t Think About Him!
Chapter 83 - 078 Yi Luowa, Don't Think About Him!
Tong Airui gave her a deep look, "I'll head back now, but try not to disturb Second Uncle for too long."
"Don't let the door hit you on the way out!" Yi Luowa watched him leave before rushing to the hospital bed. She grabbed Yi Weiyang's hand and asked indignantly, "What are you doing?! You handed me over to him without even asking for my consent!"
"You don't like him?" Yi Weiyang looked at her suspiciously.
"Absolutely not!" Yi Luowa pouted and said, "He's all polite and sweet in front of you, but behind your back, he's downright mean to me!"
Yi Weiyang furrowed his brows slightly. "Then who kissed your neck?"
Yi Luowa quickly tugged on her scarf to cover the marks on her neck. "It wasn't a kiss—it was a dog bite."
Yi Weiyang glanced at her irritably. "He has three broken ribs. If you didn't want him to kiss you, how could he even have touched you?"
Yi Luowa covered her face, peeking at Second Uncle through her fingers. Seeing him staring back at her, she quickly closed the gaps and mumbled, "I was ambushed! Ugh, stop asking about it—it's too embarrassing!"
Yi Weiyang sighed. "Luowa, you've already done what shouldn't have been done. Second Uncle had to have a proper talk with Airui. Otherwise, you're the one who gets the short end of the stick."
Yi Luowa instantly flared up, dropping her hands and staring fixedly at Yi Weiyang. "What did we even do that 'shouldn't have been done'? What did Tong Airui tell you? I'm so angry—I'm going to find him!"
"Luowa, he didn't say anything to me. I figured it out myself," Yi Weiyang gestured for Aunt Li to step outside and guard the door.
After Aunt Li left, Yi Luowa whispered in frustration, "Second Uncle, what exactly did you 'figure out'? If you don't explain it clearly today, I'll pester you until you give in!"
Second Uncle's gaze fell on Yi Luowa's pants. "When you left, you were wearing sky-blue pants. When you returned, you'd swapped them for black ones. Plus, Airui's clothes are in your bag... Luowa, you're an adult now. There are some things I won't interfere too much in, but since you're a girl, Second Uncle has to take a stand."
Yi Luowa's mouth twitched fiercely. "Second Uncle! What kind of nonsense is this?! We really didn't do anything... Ugh, how am I supposed to explain this?"
"No need to explain. Second Uncle understands. I can see that Airui really likes you. When you two ate together, I watched for a while—when he sneaks glances at you, his eyes are filled with affection. Since he treats you well, you should be kinder to him, and stop acting like a little child..."
Before Yi Weiyang could finish, Yi Luowa had already dashed to the door. She clutched Aunt Li's shoulder and whispered a few words into her ear.
Aunt Li couldn't help but laugh, "Alright, I'll help explain this to Second Master. But what about the kiss marks on your neck? How are we supposed to explain those?"
Yi Luowa pouted, "Think whatever you want; I'm not dealing with you anymore! I'm heading back to my own hospital room."
Aunt Li laughed again at her response.
Yi Luowa pursed her lips and stormed off to her room, fuming. She could swear that everything today had been Tong Airui's deliberate plan. He had wanted her to go to Xiawu with him, she hadn't agreed, so he exploited Second Uncle instead.
Well, now it was done—she couldn't clear her name even if she jumped into the Yellow River. It was time to handle him! She had to deal with this!
Yuan Hang saw her angry face and immediately guessed she was here to settle accounts with his master. He pointed toward the inside of the room and whispered, "Fourth Master is on a call with his mother."
Yi Luowa glanced toward Tong Airui's hospital room and said furiously, "After he finishes the call, tell him to come to my room. I have something to say to him."
"Got it," Yuan Hang agreed readily.
Yi Luowa returned to her hospital room, changed into her patient gown, applied ointment to the wounds on her forehead and leg, and, once she'd finished fussing about, there was still no sign of Tong Airui.
She checked the time—it was already nine o'clock. That guy was clearly not coming over. Huffing in frustration, she locked the door, drew the curtains, and muttered, "Coward! Afraid to face the heat, huh? You might dodge today, but you won't get past tomorrow. Just wait and see how I handle you then!"
Mumbling to herself, Yi Luowa climbed into bed. As she closed her eyes, images of Tong Airui's forceful kiss flashed through her mind, her heart racing. The young woman blushed furiously, muttering in frustration, "Yi Luowa, have you lost all shame?! If you dare think about him again, I'll punish you myself!"
"Yi Luowa, just go to sleep!"
"Yi Luowa, stop thinking about him!"
"Oh come on, Yi Luowa—are you trying to drive me mad?!"
She rolled around on the bed, clutching the blanket tightly. Only after who knows how long did she finally stop berating herself. Exhaustion overtook her, and she fell asleep. Then, Yi Luowa dreamt of being in a small boat. At first, she rowed smoothly, but inexplicably, the vessel started to sink. As water was about to reach her, Yi Luowa woke up in fright.
"Ah—mmm!" She turned to see someone lying next to her. Before she could make out his face, he silenced her with a kiss.
The familiar scent brought her heart back to a steady rhythm.
"Damn these injuries, how long will it take before I heal!" Tong Airui grumbled. Despite his broken ribs aching faintly, he moved away from her lips reluctantly and collapsed back onto the bed, frustrated.
"I locked the door—how did you get in?" Yi Luowa turned her head to look at him.
"That lousy lock wouldn't stop me," Tong Airui replied, turning to look at her too.
Their eyes met, and both burst out laughing.
