Chapter 125: Extended

Sia’s gaze rested on her reflection for a while longer as she stepped back. Just as the green eyes’ clarity and sharpness were highlighted by the dark lashes framing them, so was her pale complexion. Her auburn locks, which fell in soft curls about her shoulders, caught her eye as she shifted her gaze to her attire. To make sure she had everything in its proper place, she scrunched up her nose and took a quick peek behind the dress. Although the outfit complimented her curvy figure, she bit her lip and concentrated on how she felt rather than her appearance. At 24, she had been extremely sheltered. Despite the fact that she had only had a few interactions where she had to put up with a person who wasn’t interested in her, she was able to put up with him. With the help of her girlfriend, she was hoping to finally shed the last of her virginity on their date tonight.

She made a final turn before deciding to give up. "It’s all I’ve got," she proclaimed as she marched into her father’s living room, brushing her hair back behind her ears. Ally and she had played in the living room for 14 years with no idea what the future contained, and it seemed like only yesterday. At this point, she had been back home for a full week. When her parents sat her down in that room, they also informed her that they were divorcing. Now that I think about it, it all adds up. They were two very distinct individuals. At times, this was helpful; at others, it caused drift, which may be frustrating for someone who wants to take part in life but is restricted. At this same moment, her mother was somewhere in Europe’s Alps. She’d always wanted to see the world, and now she was finally doing it. Her father, on the other hand, was content to be at home with the family while he was at work. When she was younger, she had gone with her mother, but as time went on, she became tired of being alone when her mother was away and went to school instead. During her time at the school, she learned more about herself and how men were. After that, she got in touch with her father, who was happy to have her back in the house. He told her again and over that there was room for her, but she wanted to go and make her own mark. After hearing the trumpet, she stepped outside to see what was going on.

It was as if they had known one other for a long time when she got in Ally’s car and said, "Bye Dad."

"So what’s the plan for tonight?" Ally asked with a steady tap on the steering wheel.

"What I want to do is to live a basic life and then go on an adventure. Let me know where you’d like to go, and I’ll go with you."

"As far as I can see, you’re giving it away for free, Sia."

"At this point, it’s nothing more than a distinguishing feature. Do you believe that I’m right?"

A smoke-filled waterfront pub was full of people who were clearly regulars, so they pulled up. In pairs, they walked around the room to get a sense of how big it was. There was the usual mix of people, many of whom were already drunk. As soon as she observed a dark-haired man staring at her, Sia shoved Ally.

Leaning forward to take a sip from her beer, Ally blinked quickly as he approached. "It’s Max, of course," she said. Moving with ease, he smiled and spoke to her with an open mouth.

"Well, how are you and your two beautiful companions?"

"Max, how are you feeling today? I haven’t seen you for a long time now, I’m sorry."

Then he remarked, "Just got back. Want to speak for a while." He offered his hand to her.

Then she nodded and immediately started off on foot with Max, whom she had just glanced at. Formerly a football star and hometown idol, he became disoriented and returned to his hometown to attempt and reassemble the pieces of who he once was. Sia was well aware that nothing would stop Ally from hanging out with Max right now due to her long-standing obsession on him since elementary school.

Sia returned to the area and observed something new: a head. He was getting on in years, yet he still had a youthful appearance, save for a few gray hairs on his brow How intently he watched her was the most essential factor. Whether someone was close, she spied on them with her sneaky eye to see if anyone else was in danger. She gave him a second look, this time with a smile on her face.

Despite his age, he was still handsome and dressed impeccably in a suit. The bartender quickly served him another drink after he made a finger gesture. The power virtually oozed from him as he looked to try his best to ignore a woman who was standing nearby. After taking a few long breaths to calm her racing heart, she arose and walked over to him.

Who better to help her than someone who has a little bit of experience? As she approached him, she walked cautiously, aware that his gaze was fixed on her. She flung her hair over one shoulder and ordered a drink while she tried to appear uninterested. His gaze ran over her body before rising again, making her feel as though she were being caressed by him. When the bartender brought her drink, she saw him do it again.

"The drink has been taken care of miss," he smirked at her. Her jaw dropped when she saw him for the first time in a long time. His eyes were a rich shade of blue. A warm smile spread across her face, as she drank a little more.

"Thank you for the beverage."

"As far as I’m concerned, It’s all mine."

She also felt a surge of heat. The surge of adrenaline she felt as he turned to face her was palpable. He took his place in the chair, and she stood as he did, so they were sitting face to face.

Anna’s hand was extended and she said, "I’m Anna." As he took her hand, she could feel his warmth. She was embarrassed to use a fictitious name, but she didn’t want to give too much away. After all, the whole point of all of this was to assist her in losing her virginity.
