Billionaire's Pleasure-Chapter 127: Uncomfortable
When she looked at him, she raised an eyebrow and observed that he was always smiling. His beauty remained undiminished despite the fact that he was a little older. His goatee and virtually black hair, with only a sliver of gray around the temples, looked great on him. Because she was the daughter of one of his friends, she felt it unusual that he seemed unconcerned about anything.
"Despite what happened, we have to move forward. I mean, if I had a job at this company." She awaited his response.
His breath came out acridly. Once again, I need your immediate attention because it might be a problem. When she turned to face him, she felt a tingling sensation in her body. He was confident that she had the same thoughts as him. She stood up and decided to hunt for a new place to wait for her father, who had not arrived. It was time for her to pack up her possessions and get out of the house.
In order to get in front of her, he climbed on his feet and walked across the room. He’s going to remain here for a while. At the very least, join me for lunch.
When he went closer and closer to her, her body became more and more enthralled by the sensation. But instead of touching her, he made his way toward the door. Assuming that lunch wouldn’t be dangerous, she nodded. When we entered a public place, the atmosphere completely changed. As he discussed business, his demeanor moved and transformed, and he had no problem adopting a corporate persona. The more he spoke, the more she became enamored with him, and she began to ask him questions.
"As a result, we’re eager to do business with every company we come across." He grinned at her as the food was delivered. She frowned at him. "As far as I’m concerned, there has to be a more efficient and elegant way of doing things."
"As well as’?"
"Having someone who enters the room and is kind to everyone is a good idea." She drank a lot of alcohol.
"Instead of just one individual stealing from another, there is a cooperative partnership." He sank back into his seat and relaxed. She was able to sense the mounting tension as she watched them.
"Sia, you’re stunning. I’m baffled as to how you haven’t been married and started a family by now."
"Is it something you’d like, Ray? Yes, I am meant to be married and have children."
When she noticed that his demeanor had changed, she figured out that she had offended him.
"However, if you’d like me to take their position, I’d be happy to do so." When she realized her words had a double meaning, she blushed a lot.
While I still find Sia’s blushing annoying, I can’t stand it anymore. The waiter interrupted after they looked at each other for a long time, intensely.
He walked with her back to the car, which was tucked away in an alcove. Her mind had wandered again, and she was once again commuting. He touched her lower back with the palms of his hands and she was startled.
"Sia, I vow to be a gentleman and not harm you." When he came to a halt in front of the car, he stroked back a flyaway hair from her brow.
She gave him a squint as she surveyed the scene. "Although I’m not sure how you could hurt me, Ray, I know you would not. It’s only because of you that I’m prone to irrational behavior."
During the scorching kiss, her body reacted in ways she couldn’t have predicted. Her hair swirled around her fingers as he rubbed the length of his body against hers. During the kiss, both parties were eager to feel each other, but he ultimately drew back.
"Let me think about this for a moment: You are the daughter of a friend of mine, and I am old enough to be your father. We can’t do this. Basically, that wouldn’t work." He screamed and slammed his hands on the ground.
When he turned her down, she felt as if she were being suffocated by bitterness. "Ray, I promise I won’t be a distraction at work or outside."
The ride back was almost unpleasant in the weird silence that engulfed them. She could feel his gaze on her all the time, but she clung to his firm convictions about what he could and could not do with her. As soon as they returned to the area, she went into the building, leaving him outside. Until she was pulled into a vacant office space by his elbow, she had been able to completely ignore him.
"Sia, what’s going on? You appear to be well, yet once I kiss you, you become enraged!?"
Reg, I don’t hate you. Her arm was withdrawn. "Honestly, I’m not sure what I’m even doing here. Although we spent the night together, we can no longer remain in the same room without fighting or bumping into each other."
"What else do you have to say, Ray? Did you have sex with me the night before? Was it really necessary to get up in the night and touch me, then order a breakfast delivery so you could get away?"
" Nobody has done anything wrong, and if my memory serves me correctly, you were allowed to stay the night."
Despite the fact that she knew he was correct, his comments had an impact on her. His gaze fell on hers with a gasp.
"You’re absolutely correct in every way. I don’t know what I expected. Ray, I’m truly sorry." She returned to the stairwell after sneaking out of the room to wait for her father somewhere else in the building.
When he finally arrived, she was sitting in the lobby reading. As he beamed at her, she stood up and joined him. Because he was a decent guy, moving back was the best decision she could have made.
"Sia, what are you craving right now?"
"No worries; I’ll cook when we get home."
"I’m very sorry... Because Raymond told me you got the job, we’re going out to dinner tonight." He smiled at her.
Whether it was from the thought of working with him or from the fact that she would see him again the following day, she felt sick to her stomach.
