Birthing Legends: My Womb Creates SSS Monsters-Chapter 74: Dyralfa vs Mother: No Holding Back — Part 3.
Maddy dropped into a defensive stance, her motherly instinct briefly overtaking her battle thrill. She stared at the severed limb in shock.
"I—I’m sorry, Dyralfa! I went too far... oh god, I just cut off her tail! I’m a horrible mother!"
Dyralfa didn’t flinch. Her eyes glinted with amusement and steel.
"Don’t apologize, Mother. You’re not horrible! Those tails just grow back—I am part lizard, right? In fact... that was part of my strategy. You just fell right into it!"
Suddenly, the severed tail on the floor didn’t stay inert. Thanks to Rapid Cellular Growth and her Autonomous Limb Reflex, it didn’t just twitch—it hunted. Mineral spikes sprouted along its length, and it slithered like a possessed serpent, moving with deadly Serpentine Locomotion.
"Oh, right... I got carried away. I dislimbed my own daughter and forgot... she is part lizard. Old age and motherly love at its finest!"
Within seconds, the rogue tail coiled around her ankles like iron cables. Its Constricting Strength tightened relentlessly, making her Divine Light Armor hiss and pop.
"WHAT THE—!?"
She struggled, but the strength was overwhelming.
"This severed tail... it’s like it has its own brain! I’m fighting two opponents at once!"
Arach shouted from the sidelines, eyes wide with awe.
"She’s using the lizard’s autotomy as a tactical ambush! Mother is snared!"
Sephiran doubled over, clutching his stomach as laughter shook him.
"Hahaha! Sister’s tail is acting on its own! This is too funny! I can’t—!"
With Maddy’s movement locked, Dyralfa didn’t hesitate. She threw a massive, blood red fist—Demonic Blood Art: Agony Scale, straight into Maddy’s chest.
BOOM!
The hit was clean. Maddy was sent skidding back, her divine breastplate shattered, her ego soaring alongside her daughter’s. Dyralfa stood tall, her severed stump already beginning to bubble with regeneration, a predatory smirk on her face.
Dyralfa panted, her voice full of pride.
"I told you, Mother... I wasn’t born to break!"
Maddy sat up, rubbing her sore chest, and then she began to laugh. A deep, rich, genuine laugh of a mother who realized she had just birthed a goddess of war.
"Hahaha! You trapped me with your own tail?! You clever, beautiful monster!"
Maddy stood up, her aura turning from golden to a fierce, prismatic white.
"Feeling proud of yourself, huh? You think a single hit means you’ve won?" 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
With a wave of her hand, the severed tail coiled around her legs disintegrated into ash, consumed by the rising heat of her mana.
"I was only testing your limits, Dyralfa. And yes... your ego soared, born of an alpha but that’s exactly what I need in a daughter meant to shield her siblings."
A small, proud smile touched her lips.
"Now I’ve seen how you can fight with your own body... This is it, Dyralfa. I won’t hold back, and yes, even if I cut a limb, you’ve proven it will just grow back."
"S-stop spitting words, Mother... let’s... get back to fighting..."
The atmosphere in the Gym shifted, as Maddy abandoned her motherly restraint. The prismatic white light radiating from her was so intense that the walls began to glow with Bioluminescence, reflecting her overwhelming power.
For the first time, Dyralfa felt a flicker of nervousness as her mother’s aura surged with raw, overwhelming power.
"S-stop talking, Mother! Let’s just fight!"
Her Thermal Awareness screamed warnings through her senses. The woman in front of her no longer felt like a simple opponent—she felt like an unstoppable force of nature.
Then Maddy moved.
Using Improved Reflexes and High Speed Flight, she lunged forward with explosive speed, her body shooting across the arena like a fang launched from a bow—no wings, just pure momentum.
Dyralfa reacted instantly. She braced herself, activating every hardening trait she possessed. Mineral plating, draconic scales, and bulwark armor fused together, locking her body into a single, impenetrable shell.
"Absolute Light Manipulation: Divine Armament—Twin Swords!"
The radiant shield around Maddy shattered into particles of light and reshaped itself into two blades, one in each hand. Twin swords of solidified radiance hummed with divine energy as lightning crackled along their edges.
She was no longer defending. She had shifted fully into offense.
Maddy surged forward, her blades descending in a relentless storm. Each strike crashed down with the force of an orbital bombardment, arcs of lightning exploding across the arena floor with every impact.
Dyralfa reacted instantly. Her Shield Limbs snapped up, thick armored plates crossing in front of her body as she absorbed the incoming blows. The arena rang with violent clangs of steel against crystalized armor.
"I can take it!"
Dyralfa roared, digging her claws deeper into the floor as the impacts drove her back inch by inch.
"I don’t break!"
Her muscles swelled again as Demonic Blood Art: Agony Scales flared across her body, the crimson glow burning beneath her fractured armor.
"You don’t break? Yes you cannot, but with me... those armors Ive given you was just a piece of paper for me."
Maddy’s voice resonated with Divine Voice, the vibration itself causing Dyralfa’s armor to develop micro fractures. She closed the distance in a millisecond. She activated Spark Spider – Kinetic Battery, releasing all the movement energy she’d stored into a single point. Her palm struck Dyralfa’s chest.
CRACK BOOM!
A massive Static Discharge surged through Dyralfa’s body. Because her mineralized physiology was highly conductive, the current didn’t stop at her armor. It raced through every nerve in her body, bypassing the thick plates of drake scales and carapace. Electricity exploded through her system like a storm trapped under skin.
Dyralfa’s massive frame convulsed.
Her Seismic Anchor shattered as her claws tore free from the floor, the force finally lifting the six-million-Might daughter off her feet. Smoke curled from the gaps in her armor. Her muscles twitched uncontrollably as the last arcs of lightning crawled across her body.
Yet even through the spasms, Dyralfa forced out a breathless laugh.
"I... I am done... Mother..."
Her voice trembled, but pride still burned in her slit pupils.
"You are... amazing."
