The advancement of a Transcendent’s profession level has several major thresholds. The first is Level 20, breaking through the bottleneck leads to becoming a legendary figure. The second is Level 30, which is the start of the Path of Myth; a strength possessed by the legendary heroes. Without the ordained fate and mastery of the corresponding Domain Law, it’s nearly impossible for one to rise above 30 or have the qualification to become an Ascender. So for those at legendary level with ordained fate, Level 30 isn’t really a threshold; it’s just a matter of how high the upper limit of their Law Power is and if they can expedite the advancement process.

Without Domain Law, one cannot start the Path of Myth nor become an Ascender, nor have the chance to condense Divine Position and initiate Divine Investiture ceremonies.

The genuine threshold bottlenecks for a Transcendent are really two major barriers: one at Level 20, breaking through marks becoming legendary, and another at Level 40, the limit of a mortal, where professional level can no longer advance, necessitating the condensation of Divine Format level.

In other words, once Shawn advances to ’Level 5 Arcanist/Level 5 Mind Scholar/Level 10 Arcane Spirit Master/Level 20 Great Aoling Master’, he has already reached the mortal limit, with professional level hardly having room to continue advancing.

At this point, he will need to append a ’Level 5 Knowledge Demigod’, or ’Level 5 Wilderness Demigod’, or perhaps ’Level 5 Devil Duke’.

But this isn’t at the Extraordinary Level anymore; this is the Divine Format level.

The upper limit for Demigod Divine Format level is 5.

Typically, Divine Spirits with weak divine power have Divine Format levels around 5, so Demigods aren’t much different from feeble Divine Spirits. In the Bizarre Realm, mastering the Divine Format level has virtually no threshold; even if you have just advanced to Level 20 becoming legendary, as long as you can face the Old Era directly in challenges, you can still attain Divine Format level.

No matter your professional level, as long as you defeat the Old Era, you can condense Divine Format level.

Of course, failing means death.

The legacy of the Dark Era has already been divided, and it’s impossible for anyone to inherit nameless individuals’ Divine Format levels like those Death Demigods did.
