[BL] Mr. Romano Contracted Husband-Chapter 41: He Wants To Know More
Julian was drawing in one of his students’ books, who was having difficulty creating one of the drawing models. He helped her create a simple base pose for her to follow.
"You can shape it with a cylinder like this, then..."
While he was teaching, one of the students called his name, and he turned toward the door.
"Mr. Julian! Mr. Bernard is looking for you," said the student, causing him to immediately turn toward the door.
He saw a man with white hair and blue eyes standing right in front of the door watching him. Julian then asked his students to continue their practice while he talked to Kyle for a moment.
Julian walked towards the door and spoke to him. "What’s up? Do you need something?"
At first, Kyle was hesitant to speak, so he asked Julian to move away from the door so that the students couldn’t hear them.
"Actually, there’s nothing too important to talk about. I’m just curious about you. We don’t meet as often as we do with other teachers," he said.
He agreed with that. Considering he was only a temporary teacher and wasn’t at school every day. Especially since he only came to teaching the students after school.
They talked and discussed several things about the students at the school. From the conversation, Julian learned that Kyle was a fairly active teacher even though he was very shy. Arcane had told him about Kyle, and Julian thought that maybe they were good friends.
’No wonder. He seems nice and gentle, and if I remember correctly, he’s married to a man, right? Hmm, I can see he’s the type of good husband,’ he thought at the time.
Unlike Kyle, he admitted that Julian was a good person and it was no wonder why Arcane chose him. But that became a comparison between himself and Julian.
He compared himself to the man in front of him. What exactly made Arcane really interested in Julian, but never seemed interested in him?
He knew that maybe this was influenced by the fact that Arcane was married. Maybe they were happy because that was his plan, to never look at anyone other than his husband.
"You seem very happy with Arcane. Well no wonder, he is really good man," said Kyle, who wanted to know Julian’s reaction.
Julian, hearing this, nodded his head agree with that. He felt happy and grateful to have met Arcane, who understood him so well. Even when he made mistakes, Arcane would try to guide him back so he wouldn’t make the same mistake again.
"I feel that my life and Arcane are very happy. I wouldn’t have made it this far without him." A warm smile appeared on his face, but Julian immediately realized how silly his words were.
"I’m sorry, I said something I shouldn’t have. I’m sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable," he continued.
Kyle waved his hand in front of his face. "It’s okay. Besides, I was the one who asked. Whatever your answer is, I don’t mind."
That answer made Kyle feel even more jealous and envious because Ethan didn’t treat him that way. If he made even the slightest mistake, his husband would immediately scold him and refuse to talk to him for quite a long time.
’Ethan would definitely ignore me if I accidentally said something that upset him. He would say that I didn’t respect him at all.’ His eyes drooped as he thought about it.
But hearing that answer, if only Kyle received the same treatment as Julian, he would surely feel happy too. He could definitely become even better than he is now.
However, at that moment, he immediately tried to remind himself that what he was thinking was wrong. He shouldn’t compare himself to Julian or compare Ethan to Arcane.
’But... At that time, he took away the food I made for him. Until now, he hasn’t said anything else about the lunch I made for him,’ thought the language teacher.
Little did he know that Arcane had taken his food home to eat with his husband. This made him a little lost in thought, until Julian waved his hand in front of his face.
"What’s wrong, Kyle? Did I say something wrong? You suddenly started daydreaming like that," he asked in surprise.
"Oh, sorry. It’s nothing. Well, I have to go. I just remembered I have to go shopping for dinner," said Kyle.
"Sure. See you later!"
Seeing the white haired man walking away, Julian intended to return to class when suddenly the principal arrived. He look at him and staring at his face.
"It seems that the students are very well behaved in your class," said Principal Donald Stamford.
"That’s right. They seem well-behaved and, fortunately, very easy to manage. Maybe it’s because they are teenage girls, so they are easier to manage than teenage boys," replied Julian.
He knew this very well because he himself had been very rebellious and difficult to manage when he was a teenager. He even sometimes caused trouble in class with his male friends. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
The principal nodded his head, satisfied with that. Especially with Julian’s performance after working for 1 month. But there were still 2 months left to work, and he was sure Julian could handle it.
"Well then, I have to get back to my office. We’ll talk again another time." Donald smiled warmly at Julian before walking away.
That warm, subtle smile reminded him of Arcane. Although their faces weren’t very similar, Julian, who had seen his husband’s smile many times, could sense the same aura between the principal and Arcane.
Considering that they were actually father and son, even though Donald didn’t know that fact.
’After finding out that Arcane was his son, I felt that they really looked alike. I hope everything will go well.’
Honestly, Julian hoped that Arcane could tell his father the truth that he was his son, whom he had never known.
Even if the result might be that Donald doesn’t believe him. But Julian is sure there are many things that can prove it, including the letters and photos Arcane’s mother left behind.
"Should I... help him with this?"
