That night, at exactly 9:00 p.m., Arcane drove his car with Julian, heading to the meeting point indicated by Marshal.

As they were about to arrive, Julian immediately hid, making sure he wasn’t visible from the outside. Arcane then got out of the car and surveyed their surroundings.

The place was so quiet, near an abandoned warehouse in the corner of the city. There, he waited for the others to arrive, preparing himself for what was about to happen to him.

It didn’t take long for Ryan and the others to arrive, along with Marshal and Hans. Each of them carried their own weapons, such as wooden blocks and iron pipes. Arcane knew that this must have been Ryan’s plan to have them bring these items.

However, it turned out that not only Hans and Marshal would be his accomplices, he had also hired three thugs to help him.

’I have to pretend I don’t know about this. I’m sure they’ve also prepared what we discussed earlier,’ he thought at that moment.

"What the hell is this? Why did you guys come here and even bring things like that?" Arcane asked them.

Ryan walked closer and stood right in front of him. "I didn’t expect you to fall into the trap we set. I knew you would listen to what they said."

Looking at his face, Arcane felt so angry, remembering what had happened a few days ago when Ryan tried to r*pe Julian.

"So this was your plan? Are you trying to get revenge for what I did to you? But it was all your own fault," Arcane replied.

"My fault?" Ryan laughed and turned to Marshall and Hans, who were standing behind him. "This is all your fault! You’ve been torturing Julian all this time, manipulating him with your words!"

Arcane’s eyes narrowed sharply when Ryan said that he had been manipulating Julian all this time. Of course, he had heard all this at Marshall’s house when Ryan talked about it with his two friends.

"Manipulating him? Do you think I’m someone like you who likes to manipulate others?"

"You call me a manipulator? You’re the one who is. You manipulated Julian’s mind, making him believe that you loved him. When in reality, you were just taking advantage of him!" Ryan pointed at his face with the wooden block he was holding.

Marshal finally spoke up, as if he agreed with Ryan’s statement that Arcane was only using Julian. He said that he was unhappy with this situation because Julian was his cousin and family.

Feeling dissatisfied with Arcane’s behavior towards Julian, Hans also helped out, making this scenario seem more real by supporting what Ryan said.

Arcane felt like he was being attacked from all sides, but he knew that Marshal and Hans were on his side. Seeing Arcane cornered, Ryan was very satisfied and wanted to get rid of him immediately so he could get Julian.

"Now you better admit your mistake before we get rid of you. No one will be able to help you here. This place is always quiet and rarely passed by other people!"

Julian, who was hiding in the car, felt so annoyed by Ryan’s threatening words. He held his baseball bat tightly, as if he couldn’t wait to smash the man’s face. But he knew he had to follow the instructions before doing so.

"Why should I admit to something I never even did? You’re the one who made a mistake by lying to them about what really happened," replied the red haired man, clenching his fists tightly.

However, Ryan, who thought their two friends were on his side, could only laugh while pointing at Arcane again. As if it were a warning that Arcane’s words would not be heard by them.

Without saying another word, he attacked Arcane with the wood in his hand. Marshal and Hans were shocked that Ryan suddenly attacked without warning. He was followed by three thugs he had paid.

Fortunately, Arcane managed to dodge the blow and kicked the man’s body, sending him crashing to the ground. While Ryan wasn’t looking, he signaled to Marshal and Hans not to reveal their plan just yet.

He wanted to vent his frustration over what he had done to Julian. He also had to fight the other three thugs who had joined the attack. Although he always appeared calm and cold, Arcane was able to fight them off.

"Damn it!" He hit the ground in frustration after being kicked by Arcane. His eyes narrowed as he turned to Arcane and looked at him with hatred.

"I will get rid of you! Someone like you doesn’t deserve Julian, let alone keep him!"

"Because you want him? Because you’re after my husband, that’s why you want to get rid of me?" Arcane asked him, pausing briefly before continuing.

"I will never let anyone take what is mine. I would rather lose myself than lose him!"

According to Arcane, Julian is someone very precious to him right now. After he lost his loved one, his mother. Julian is like another person he can trust and love. He doesn’t consider him a replacement for his mother, or even a second mother.

He considers Julian someone he can share his feelings and warmth with. Sharing love by loving him and feeling love from him.

And he doesn’t want to lose someone like him.

For the second time, a fight broke out between Ryan and Arcane. When Ryan was about to punch him in the face, Arcane dodged by lowering his body and then kicked the man’s leg, causing him to fall.

"FUCK! MARSHAL! HANS! HELP ME QUICKLY! WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE!? DIDN’T WE AGREE TO ELIMINATE HIM?!" Ryan yelled at them so loudly, feeling frustrated that he couldn’t defeat Arcane. Even though he was already using the weapon in his hand.

That’s when Arcane said something that made him even more angry.

"You can’t fight me alone? You even need Marshal and Hans to help you. This proves why people prefer me over you, who can’t do anything alone. You’re just a spoiled brat who always hides behind your father’s name!"

Those words pierced Ryan’s heart, because what Arcane said was true. He had always hidden behind his father’s power, which allowed him to have whatever he wanted.

He didn’t even have to work hard to get it all, because he could get it just by saying a few words.

But when they started looking at Arcane, he felt so jealous because that man was getting more attention than him, just because he was a hard worker.

’I can get anything I want. I have a lot of money and power. But why do they prefer him! Especially Julian... How dare he reject me!’

The anger inside him reached its peak, and he slowly stood up from his current position, gripping the wood tightly.

"SHUT UP! I’LL KILL YOU!"
