The green haired man chuckled, and then they both fell fast asleep.

The next day, Julian woke up from his sleep, not because of the sunlight or the morning alarm. But because of a small hand patting his cheek.

"Julian, wake up!" Amanda’s cute voice woke him up.

Not only Julian, but Arcane also woke up when he heard her voice. They were greeted in the morning with her sweet and warm smile, who immediately hugged them both innocently.

"Hey, have you been awake for a while?" Julian asked as he lifted her onto his lap.

"Yes, yes!" she replied happily. "Morning!"

"Morning, Amanda..." Julian nuzzled her cheek while Arcane ruffled Amanda’s hair.

On that bright morning, they went to the kitchen to make breakfast. Amanda asked for pancakes, so Arcane made them for her. It wasn’t too difficult to make before he had to get ready to go teach.

Since they didn’t have any syrup, Julian offered honey on Amanda’s pancakes. The little girl nodded in agreement and ate her warm pancakes with sweet honey.

A warm feeling filled them that morning, it felt so different when there was such an innocent little soul with them now. She was like an angel who came to visit to make their day better.

"Eat a lot, there are plenty of pancakes for you," Julian said as he wiped the remaining honey from her mouth.

"Okay! This is so delicious!" she replied with her mouth full.

Arcane shook his head slowly. "Don’t talk with your mouth full like that. You might choke."

He then turned to his husband. "I’ll make sandwiches for both of you later. Don’t buy her anything random."

"Okay, I understand!" Julian nodded his head. He would help Arcane make the sandwiches.

Amanda watched Julian and Arcane make the sandwiches together. As Julian helped flip the fried chicken in the pan, Arcane hugged him from behind, wrapping his arms around his waist.

"The night went by so fast. I haven’t finished hugging my husband, but now I have to go to work," he whispered.

"Huh? What’s that? Hehe... Anyway, you can hug me when you get home from work, right?" Julian replied with a chuckle.

Too busy with their romance, they didn’t notice someone getting up from her seat and walking towards them.

"I want to help too!" she said enthusiastically, grabbing the bowl of flour on the kitchen counter.

Julian, who was too late to react, didn’t have time to pull the bowl away from Amanda’s hands, and it spilled onto her face. The two grown men were shocked to see her face turn white from the flour.

"Ah, Amanda!"

"Hacchiii-!" She sneezed, sending flour flying from her face.

"Hey, are you okay?" Arcane immediately approached her, taking a tissue.

Thinking that Amanda would cry, she instead laughed when the flour hit her face. She giggled as if it were something funny, even though her face, hair, and body were covered in flour.

"Hehehe..." She sat on the floor and played with the flour.

Julian, who was watching her, immediately laughed and knelt down to ruffle her hair. "You’re so adorable."

Her small hand touched Julian’s cheek, getting it covered in flour too. They laughed together, while Arcane could only smile and shake his head. Like a father watching his daughter and husband make themselves even dirtier.

He then turned off the stove after finishing cooking and turned back to them.

"Very good, you two. Now the floor is so dirty, so who’s going to clean it up, hm?" asked Arcane, placing his hands on his hips.

They both turned and answered in unison.

"Arcane! Hehehe..."

He was startled when they pointed at him in unison. He couldn’t help but look annoyed, but instead smiled at them. The man then pushed them to go to the bathroom and clean themselves up while he tidied up what they had done.

From the kitchen, as Arcane was cleaning up the flour scattered on the floor, he heard Julian and Amanda laughing from the bathroom. The little girl’s laughter was the loudest, and it sounded like she was joking around with Julian.

Sure enough, when Arcane followed them into the bathroom, he saw Julian and Amanda playing with soap.

"I told you to clean yourselves up, not play with bubbles. You two are unbelievable," he said with a sigh, but again he smiled at the sight of the two of them.

He then rolled up his sleeves and helped clean Amanda’s hair with shampoo.

After almost 15 minutes in the bathroom, he wrapped a towel around her and carried her out of the bathroom.

Laughing, Amanda ran towards their room with Julian chasing after her.

"Hey, wait for me!" he shouted.

When he reached the room, Julian couldn’t find Amanda anywhere. But he heard her giggling from behind the curtain. He was sure she was playing hide and seek with him.

"Where is she? How could she suddenly disappear and I can’t find her?" he asked, even though he already knew where she was.

He pretended to search until Arcane appeared and signaled him by placing his index finger on his lips. He then pointed to the curtain, where there were two tiny feet at the bottom.

Arcane immediately understood what he meant, and they slowly walked towards the curtain and grabbed the girl from the right and left sides.

"We found you!" they said in unison.

"Aahhh, I’ve been caught! Ehehe..."

The green haired man immediately lifted Amanda’s body and flew her straight to the bed, then changed her clothes.

Seeing how competent Julian was at taking care of Amanda on his own, Arcane could trust him when he went to work later.

At the same time, he also felt that perhaps Julian was already prepared if one day they were to adopt a child.
