(BL) The Villain wants a Divorce!-Chapter 490: A fierce hunter
In the time that Lucian was gone, Gideon had spoken to several of the hired mercenaries, including the head mercenary who Cass had spoken to, and Edgar had tended to Cass, spoken to the Priests, and gotten dinner started. He had politely refused the food from the Priests, using the excuse that he didn’t want to eat the stores that they had brought up.
It made them look good while keeping Cass safe from their blessed food. It was a smart way to handle the Priests and their image.
Cass had to lie down in the tent like an invalid, his head spinning and his breathing heavy. He had no idea that using that much magic would take so much out of him, since he hadn’t felt like this before. He hadn’t felt like this when he was learning how to use his magic with Lucian. He didn’t feel like this when he’d used some light magic in the capital either. He hadn’t felt like this inside of the dungeon at all.
Cass blinked, then felt his mood sour significantly as he came to a sudden, annoying realisation.
He didn’t like realising that the reason that he hadn’t felt so bad using magic in the dungeon was because he was a demon. The others? It was pretty obvious. He’d been using light magic in the capital, he hadn’t used magic to the level that he’d used here back there, so that example meant nothing. The one back at the mansion?
He was in the forest, and Lucian was guiding him. He would have kept an eye on how much magic he was using, and there was a chance that his fairy blood was playing into that.
Either way, it was a bitter pill to swallow to think that being inside of the dungeon had made magic easier for him to perform. Things might be different now that he had been blessed by the gods more, and had interacted with them more. Cass was just more exhausted as he realised that until he heard Lucian come back.
It was obvious that it was Lucian because of the footsteps that Cass felt against the ground, and how the rest of the group reacted to him. They were welcoming, loud, a trail of people greeting him. All while the ground shook beneath his feet. His footsteps far too heavy for the human body that was walking around.
Cass’ face was facing the open doorway out of the tent so he was able to see Lucian move towards them. He had a fresh kill over his shoulder, and what looked like...a flask or something in his other hand as well. He was chatting to others as he approached, smiling at them easily.
When he caught Cass staring at him, his expression shifted slightly. Cass didn’t like how it closed off, like he was worried that Cass was going to judge him or something. Cass frowned as Lucian paused to hand off the animal to Gideon, a boar, and then Lucian waved his hand and the smell of blood was gone from him and his clothes. He approached, clearing his throat, looking relatively nervous.
Cass watched him from where he was on his back, Edgar nearby. Cass wasn’t sure who he was there to observe. Him, or Lucian in case someone got upset?
"Cass. I brought you food." Lucian said nervously. "I made sure it was super fresh, and I got a lot. I was thinking, um, maybe having a store would be good? Do you think that it would help if you kept it in one of the bags?" Lucian asked and Cass’ gaze slid to the fresh kill that Gideon was making short work of with a short knife.
Cass sighed.
"I think I’d rather leave it for the others because we don’t have any fresh vegetables to go with it." Cass told him. Lucian remained where he was, unmoving and Cass slid his gaze back to Lucian’s orange eyes. It appeared that Lucian was a little confused himself. He calmly passed over the flask, pressing it into Cass’ hands.
"Sweetness," Lucian started quietly, "I wasn’t talking about the boar. I don’t think you’d want to share this with others." He shook the flask and Cass felt his eyes widen at the sloshing sound inside.
Cass’ brain felt like it broke for a moment as he processed what he was hearing.
"I-Is that all-" Cass stuttered over his question and Lucian gave a gruff nod.
"I’m sorry. That’s what delayed me." Lucian looked a little grim. "Aiming with two is a little harder when faced with such a tiny hole. I had to get...creative." Lucian at least kept his voice quiet while Cass thought he was going to die. Lucian shook the flask again and Cass heard how full the flask was again. It was over halfway full of...of cum.
"Just yours?" Cass asked, his mind simply having a hard time comprehending what was going on. Lucian nodded.
"Just mine." Lucian caught the way that Cass was staring at the flask in disbelief and smirked. "Sweetness, you drink more than this in an hour of your heat. I promise, this isn’t a lot, I just didn’t have as much...encouragement as I usually do. I made this to help supplement your magic loss. Do you think it will help? Do you need more? Or is this enough for now?" Cass didn’t know if he wanted to laugh hysterically or not.
The man was...certainly taking care of him, that was for sure.
"I don’t know." Cass admitted quietly. "I haven’t used this much magic before outside of a dungeon. I’m coming to realise I was getting a significant magic boost inside of the dungeons, so I’m uncertain." Cass flushed, his gaze moving from the crouching Lucian and the flask up to Edgar. "I also...need some help sitting up to drink." He muttered, embarrassed. Lucian grinned.
"No worries there. I can help you." Lucian said, shifting closer to slide his hand under Cass’ neck and shoulders, gently raising him up before he realised he still had the cap on the flask. Reaching down, he used his teeth to open it, then carefully lowered the opening to Cass’ lips.
It should have grossed him out when it touched his lips. Hell, the smell should have made his stomach roll. Instead, Cass, Lucian and Edgar heard Cass’ stomach rumble as soon as he caught a whiff of the contents of the flask.
Edgar wasn’t able to keep it together, bending in half as he laughed. He at least took a few steps away to do so, saving Cass some embarrassment as Lucian’s grin grew.
"Hungry, huh?" Lucian teased and Cass felt his face burn. He didn’t say anything, letting the man tilt the flask back further. The texture was always to be desired, but the flavour?
Yeah, Cass was man enough to admit that he liked it. Lucian’s had always been on the sweeter side, kind of like...iced tea? The powdered stuff. Sweet, with a little tang and your teeth felt a little strange after. Fuzzy. That was what Lucian’s cum tasted like to Cass.
Cass took a few mouthfuls, swallowing eagerly until he caught the way that Lucian was watching him. With open pride, possessiveness, and a small trail of smoke leaving his nostrils. Cass forced himself to stop drinking, knowing that even if he did drink it all, what good would it do him in figuring out how much would restore him?
Cass licked his lips, turning his head to the side slightly in the universal sign that he wanted to stop. Lucian raised the flask up, his hand supporting him still from below.
"How was it?" Lucian asked softly and Cass let out a shaky breath. It was frustrating, especially since he was already facing his demonic side today, but even though he had drunk some of Edgar’s supply of blood...Lucian’s cum was better for him. Cass could almost feel his body become invigorated just from the few sips. Not even a full minute had passed since it had touched his lips.
He was a damn sex demon, alright.
"Thank you for doing this." Cass muttered. "However, next time you don’t need to go to such lengths." Cass told him. Lucian began to frown, his expression souring as Cass’ warmed. "You can just stay here." Cass continued, and Lucian’s sour expression froze, and then smoothed out into a smile. He bent, pressing a soft kiss against Cass’ temple.
"You’re too sweet. Offering material to help?" Lucian teased and Cass scowled, his face warm.
"No! It’s just...It’s better to not worry if you’re safe or not. Not with your own issues coming close." Cass muttered, annoyed. Lucian’s expression softened further.
"Ah. You’re right. Sorry Cass. I will do my best not to worry you again." Lucian spoke softly, but Cass could feel the way that the man was fucking purring. Cass knew he wasn’t making fun of him, but he was even more embarrassed.
"Lucy, Gideon needs your help cutting the boar." Edgar called. "I can’t." Edgar said before Lucian could complain. Lucian scowled.
"Gods above. Alright! I’ll go help." He muttered. He turned back to Cass. "Rest more, Cass. Take your time. What time did you want to leave in the morning?" Lucian asked and Cass sighed.
"Early, if possible." Cass muttered. "After we’ve made sure the surrounding waters aren’t a murder pit." Cass clarified and Lucian grinned.
"There will be no murder pits with me and you around, hmm? Have you forgotten that your affinity has shifted to water? I think you’ll be surprised by how much the water will speak to you in this dungeon." Lucian told him and Cass frowned.
He didn’t want to hear that. He didn’t want another dungeon to speak to him, ever again.
The last one had made him spill too much of himself, he didn’t want to think what this one would do to him.
Cass remained where he was, watching the group move around and interact, and had to admit. Okay. What they had done was wrong, but seeing how they were able to work together so well after talking it through with each other...
Cass was glad that they had. Cass was worried that they wouldn’t have been able to get along in the dungeon, but they had clearly worked out some of their differences. Lucian and Gideon were working side by side to dismantle the boar, Edgar was tending to everything else and Cass...lay on his back watching all of them work.
Someone else came by and started a fire for them, helping Edgar and the other two in their prep. Cass sighed. He had every right to get mad at them, but then again, there was probably a reason why they had to sneak around behind the heroes back to chat. Was it a quirk of this world? Was a quirk about Fiona as a hero in particular? The men who were love interests had to have heart to hearts as men?
Was that why Cassian had always been excluded? Because he was the secret villain and not really attracted to Fiona?
Cass sighed, his hands resting over his stomach as he felt it rumble, settle, and rumble some more. He wanted more cum, he wanted meat, maybe both at the same time.
This was going to be an interesting dungeon, that was for sure.
