Black Online-Chapter 119: Sports Bar
"It’s looking a lot cleaner!"
Chaewon said as she put down the broom and dustpan.
While there was nothing they could do about the stains on the floors and walls, which were pretty much permanent, they had managed to get rid of all the clutter and dust.
Clothes were neatly folded and put away in the drawers, and they moved the furniture slightly to give place more space.
"Whew."
Fang Raon washed his hands in the sink, then wiped the sweat off his forehead, and looked at the now clean and organized room with a sense of satisfaction.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
At that moment, the wall shook as it sounded like someone was punching it with bare knuckles.
"Ahhh~ Ahhh~ Ahhh~"
And following that, very seductive and loud moans pierced through the thin walls that had zero soundproofing.
"Oh..."
Chaewon’s cheeks turned bright red, and she looked at Fang Raon with an awkward smile.
"...Home sweet home... Want to go somewhere?"
Fang Raon asked with a wry smile.
"...Yes, I’d love to."
Chaewon said with a smile.
He took his keys, turned off the lights, stepped out of the apartment with Chaewon, and headed to the elevator.
"There is a nice place near my place. It is a sports bar, and they also serve food and drinks."
Chaewon said as she looked at over three hundred buttons on the elevator.
"Alright, let’s go there."
Fang Raon said with a smile.
With a nod, Chaewon pressed the 98th floor button, and the elevator slowly moved up the Megaworld Apartment.
It stopped a couple of times, taking new passengers, before finally reaching the 98th floor.
They stepped out, and after a moment of walking across the 98th floor, they arrived at a sports bar on the far end of the building.
"...This floor is neat."
Fang Raon said as he looked around in awe.
"Mmh, I’ve lived all my life on this floor with my mother."
Chaewon said with a smile.
They then entered the sports bar, and since it was only 1 P.M., there weren’t a lot of customers around.
They sat down at one of the empty tables, and there were some games going in the televisions that were mounted in the walls.
The sports bar gave off a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. It had wooden floors, a ceiling, and walls, giving it a rustic feel that was welcoming.
The dim lighting gave off an amiable vibe, and it was easy to guess that this place was quite popular.
Whenever there were any big games going on, the sports bar would be packed to the brim.
"Are you sure that you don’t need to rush to work? I wouldn’t want to get you in any trouble."
Fang Raon asked.
"Mmh, I took a day’s leave for today."
Chaewon said with a smile.
In that moment, a waitress walked over to them with a menu in hand and smiled gently at the two of them.
"What may I get you both?"
She asked.
"I’ll have a water and french fries, please~"
Chaewon said.
"I’ll get water and a chicken basket, please."
Fang Raon said, and the waitress wrote it down and headed to the back to submit their order to the kitchen.
"Do you think we look like a couple to her?"
Chaewon asked with a shy smile.
"Ahaha... Probably..."
Fang Raon scratched his cheek and averted his gaze from Chaewon.
When he was blind, he always thought that he was probably garnering some attention from bystanders.
However, he really didn’t care since he wasn’t sure.
Now, when they were walking over to the sports bar, he was able to see a lot of people staring at them.
It made him feel self-conscious and uncomfortable.
Of course, he believed that they were most likely staring at Chaewon since she was so attractive, but still.
’They probably also thought we were a couple, and that I am completely out of her league, sigh...’
Fang Raon thought.
"It does feel like a date, doesn’t it?"
Chaewon asked with a smile.
"Mmh, I wouldn’t know. Never been on one."
Fang Raon said with a wry smile.
"Me neither."
Chaewon giggled.
"Really? There hasn’t been anyone you’ve been with? How is that possible?"
Fang Raon asked curiously.
He thought that there was a small chance that she was seeing anyone because of all the things that they had done and since she was always working.
However, he thought that she must’ve been with someone back in school because of how attractive she was.
"Nope~"
Chaewon replied with a smile.
In that moment, the waitress came with water and told them to "enjoy, and the food will be out shortly" before heading back.
"Oh..."
Fang Raon murmured.
"I feel very lonely now that you’ll be gone..."
Chaewon traced her finger around the edges of the glass cup and looked at her own reflection in the water.
"...Can I get your number? You’re my only friend over here, so I would hate to lose touch with you."
Fang Raon said.
"Ah... For sure!"
Chaewon smiled, took out her phone, and swapped numbers with Fang Raon, and saw his number appear on her phone.
She quickly added a name for him.
[Raon <3]
And then saved it and made the number "important" so it would appear at the top of her number contacts list.
"I’ll call you every day. You better answer."
Chaewon said with a serious expression, but that serious expression quickly turned playful, and she smiled.
"Every day...? Really?"
Fang Raon asked with a chuckle.
"Yeah, you might become tired of my voice."
Chaewon said with a smile.
"...I doubt it."
Fang Raon whispered under his breath, and even though he wasn’t loud, she was still able to hear him.
Chaewon cupped her chin, looked at him with a smile, and moved her foot under the table and tapped it against his leg in response.
’This mood...’
Fang Raon gulped.
"Here’s your food!"
In that moment, the waitress came over with the french fries and chicken bucket and placed it in front of them.
The french fries were inside a red basket, steaming hot and crispy, and the chicken bucket was in a boat-shaped bucket with french fries accompanying the chicken.
"Shall we eat?"
Chaewon asked.
"Yup."
Fang Raon said, tasted one of the french fries, and then turned his gaze to one of the televisions.
It was showing one of the replays of last night’s Hard Football matches, but that was fine, as they didn’t know the outcome of the match.
They kept eating, drinking, talking about the match, and enjoying each other’s company until they finished the food.
