Bleach: The Strongest Shinigami-Chapter 246 ⥤ Allow Me to Introduce
Chapter 246 - 246 ⥤ Allow Me to Introduce
12th Division.
S.R.D.I., Spiritual Wave Measurement Lab.
This division specializes in observing spirit waves in both the World of the Living and Soul Society, while serving as the main control room for the monitoring system.
{T/N: I have a slight suspicion that this Spiritual Wave is the Reimyaku (Spiritual Pulse) that each world has, but this wasn't explored much in the story and I can't be certain.}
Kagerōza was one of its members.
His original task was researching the Dangai. After his elimination, Aizen appointed a new division head who holds the position of 3rd Seat.
The appointee is a researcher named Hiō, whose peculiar appearance resembles a sentient, overgrown catfish.
His professional capabilities, however, are remarkable. At this moment, he was intently studying the dense data graphs on the screen, his fingers dancing across the keyboard like butterflies.
Soon, a new image appeared on the screen.
"Anomaly detected. Reiatsu waves very similar to Kagerōza's, located at coordinate point 12138 in South Rukongai's District 64."
"Wait!"
Suddenly, alarmed voices rang out from the measurement division's research room.
"A Menos Grande Reiatsu detected. Spirit Class Rank 6, approaching Rank 5!"
Upon hearing this, Hiō's already pale face contorted, "A Rank 6 Hollow is nearly at peak Gillian level — the patrol units can't handle this. Quick, call the Eleventh Division!"
After the "Captain Clones Incident", the Shinigami had gained a clear understanding of the 11th Division's capabilities.
If one had to choose the most reliable division among the Gotei 13, it would undoubtedly be the 11th Division. Which other division had Seated Officers who could withstand pressure from Captains and defeat two of them?
Even more remarkably, they had Seated Officers who had achieved Bankai!
The catastrophe that had threatened all of Soul Society was swiftly crushed by the 11th Division. Clone Captains and Reigai Lieutenants alike fell before the swords of these fierce warriors.
One unfortunate Captain was even struck down instantly by a young Seated Officer — one who had just graduated from the Academy.
Though these tales seemed far-fetched, people tend to believe the most extraordinary stories.
Since Akira took command of the 11th Division, the Rukongai rebel uprising was instantly quelled, and Hollow invasions decreased significantly.
Their overwhelming might has earned them growing reverence among the Shinigami.
In raw power, the 11th Division now rivals all other divisions combined.
This sparked numerous rumors, and tales of subordinates overthrowing their superiors became common gossip.
According to reliable inside sources, someone was planning to establish a new Gotei 13 in Soul Society.
Many firmly believed this.

South Rukongai District 64.
A green-haired girl in a black Shinigami uniform ran desperately through the sunset.
Behind her, several gorilla-like figures moved with ground-shaking steps, hurling debris with each movement as rolling clouds of dust billowed in their wake.
Nozomi Kujō bit her lip, her face twisted with frustration.
She had finally escaped Kagerōza's pursuit and learned of his elimination. Her plan had been simple: return to Seireitei and reveal everything she knew.
But when it rains, it pours. Of all times to encounter a Hollow invasion!
Without her Zanpakutō and with her Reiatsu nearly depleted, she was powerless against the Hollow group. All she could do was run.
As she rushed through the forest, her foot caught on a vine, sending her crashing to the ground.
The Hollow group instantly surrounded her, and despair washed over her pale face.
Is this where my life ends?
It's so frustrating. I haven't seen the wider world yet, haven't made more friends, haven't even fallen in love...
"ROAR!"
The Hollow group bellowed excitedly at the sight of their cornered prey.
Such delicious prey was rarely seen in Hueco Mundo!
The front-most Hollows extended their massive hands, ready to tear apart the fallen girl and divide her soul among themselves.
However, at that moment, a voice rang out...
"Call forth the Twilight..."

Wind erupted from nowhere, transforming instantly into a devouring maelstrom. The violent gales, filled with countless invisible blades, crashed down upon the Hollow group.
In an instant, several Hollows were torn into tiny particles of Reishi, vanishing into the air without even a cry. The others tried to flee but were swept away by the powerful winds.
Nozomi watched in amazement, tracing the Reiatsu to its source.
There stood a purple-haired girl about her age, gripping a monk's staff-like weapon as tangible Reiatsu swirled around her.
Without question, she had unleashed that tornado-like attack.
Just as Nozomi thought she would finish off the remaining Hollows, the girl sealed her Shikai, returning her Zanpakutō to its normal state.
Before Nozomi could warn her, rustling sounds came from the surrounding forest. A group of muscular men emerged, gathering around the purple-haired girl like stars around the moon.
Noticing Nozomi's surprised look, the girl puffed out her chest and flashed the 11th Division's signature smile, calling out:
"Boys, clean up the battlefield! Don't let a single one of these Hollows that invaded Soul Society escape! These idiots have no idea whose territory this is!"
"Yes!"
The burly men revealed fierce grins that would make even Hollows tremble, swinging their Zanpakutō as they charged at the Hollow group.
Sheathing her Zanpakutō, the purple-haired girl approached Nozomi with a gentle smile.
"Are you hurt?"
Nozomi startled before quickly shaking her head, "No, I'm fine. Thank you for your help. Are you Shinigami from Seireitei?"
Though their black Shinigami uniforms clearly marked their identity, their unbridled roughness made her uncertain.
"The genuine article!" The purple-haired girl thumped her chest, flashing a hearty smile that seemed borrowed from somewhere, "Eleventh Division, Tenth Seat, Senna Shizuku, pleased to meet you!"
{T/N: For some reason I don't know, maybe because it's a movie and everything, the real name Akane Shizuku was changed to Senna. And since we've already established her first name, I'll take Shizuku as the surname, it's better than Akane.}
Nozomi: "?"
Her dust-covered face betrayed her confusion.
She had just witnessed this person release their Shikai — a tornado that had destroyed the underbrush and instantly killed several powerful Hollows.
With such strength, shouldn't she be a high-ranking Seated Officer? Yet she was only Tenth Seat?!
Could the 11th Division have so many powerful members that they could afford to place Shikai-wielding Shinigami in mid-ranking positions?
Sensing the other girl's approachable nature, Nozomi hesitated briefly before voicing her doubts.
"About that..." Senna smiled candidly, "To be honest, the Eleventh Division doesn't follow seniority. Here, strength does the talking — whoever's stronger ranks higher. I'm Tenth Seat because I just graduated from the Shin'ō Academy, and my power truly isn't comparable to the others."
Hearing this, Nozomi drew in a sharp breath, her expression betraying deep shock.
Having spent many years in the World of the Living, she had lost touch with Soul Society's developments. She had only returned because of Kagerōza's Reigai pursuing her.
Never had she imagined that in just a few decades, the Soul Society she knew could change so dramatically.
Who was this 11th Division Captain, capable of gathering such powerful warriors under their command?
Senna, reading her confusion, showed a warm smile and stepped closer to the young woman.
"Friend, may I take a moment of your time? I'd like to introduce you to our great leader and savior... Lord Akira Kisaragi!"

Senna's first campaign was a great success — they suffered no casualties and successfully retrieved Nozomi Kujō, who was Ōko Yushima's other half and Kagerōza Inaba's opposite.
Though the green-haired girl's gaze toward him seemed somewhat off, the broad-minded Akira chose not to dwell on it. After questioning her, he handed her over to Mayuri.
Of course, it was just a routine examination to prevent any uncontrollable accidents that might arise from methods Kagerōza had potentially stored in Nozomi's soul.
Things progressed smoothly, and she checked out fine.
However, Mayuri became fascinated with the technology of splitting souls into independent entities. He immediately retrieved all research projects related to "Kagerōza Inaba" from the 12th Division's database.
Within half an hour, he had cracked through the research materials and obtained the data. As he delved deeper, his eyes lit up with excitement.
Soon, under Akira's puzzled gaze, Mayuri let out a maniacal laugh.
"Kehehehe! Oh, Captain, I've done it!"
Before Akira could ask anything, the madman grabbed him and rushed outside.
After some pushing and pulling, they arrived at a laboratory sealed with multiple Bakudō and black technology.
Upon entering, they found several large oval containers filled with green liquid and embryo-like entities. From left to right, the embryos grew increasingly complete, eventually taking the form of infants.
Yet all the organisms in the containers shared one trait — they were lifeless. Failed products.
Only then did Mayuri begin explaining his discovery.
Ōko Yushima's soul splitting technique resembled the Artificial Soul technology (Gikon). The key difference was that one split an existing soul, while the other created souls from nothing.
Though Kirio's technology was more sophisticated, Ōko's technique had its own advantages.
Through these similarities, Mayuri had developed new ideas for the latest Project Nemuri experiment.
"So, what does this have to do with me?" Akira shrugged self-consciously, "When it comes to theoretical knowledge, I'm not even as good as Sajin. Expecting my help would be foolish."
Mayuri's maniacal smile widened, "Captain, you're the final insurance. Don't forget, Project Nemuri is about creating souls!"
Akira scratched his head, not quite understanding.
Still, if his subordinate needed help, lending a hand wouldn't hurt. It's not like he had anything else to do.
Soon, Mayuri summoned many researchers from the 12th Division.
What puzzled Akira was that Mayuri didn't call for Aizen or Kisuke, despite their scientific expertise. Perhaps it was scientific pride.
Watching Mayuri busy himself with the precise equipment, Akira smiled and settled into a more comfortable position on the soft sofa.
These matters were beyond him. All he needed to do was provide his trust.

Another day.
In the dark passage, a flat and spacious Reishi road stretched out, extending beyond sight. Since this wasn't the Dangai, there were no Kōtotsu to worry about.
Two figures flash-stepped through it, changing positions almost every second, their speed surpassing ninety-nine percent of Soul Society's Captains.
"I'm serious, Sōsuke, you don't need to come along." Akira sighed helplessly, "Don't you trust me? With my wisdom and ability, there's no way I could mess up such a simple task!"
Aizen glanced at the shameless individual from the corner of his eye and calmly explained, "It's just to prevent any accidents. Besides, I need some Hell's phosphorus for several experiments."
Hearing this, Akira stopped arguing.
Soon, they reached the end of the passage and leaped down from the fractured space.
What met their eyes was a world similar to Hueco Mundo. Endless black sand swirled and howled in the raging wind.
In the distance, several powerful Reiatsu rose to the sky, crossing each other amid deafening battle cries.
Due to the collapse of Hell's First Level, this place lacked Hell's jurisdiction — the formidable Kushanāda. Extreme chaos played out at every moment.
Without hesitation, Aizen took out a prepared container. When it opened, a fresh, still-beating heart floated out.
Black patterns appeared on the heart. It was Mimihagi's power of Stillness, specifically used to halt the Soul King's Heart's abilities. The abilities weren't important; stabilizing Hell's state only required abundant Soul King power.
As the heart merged with the world, the extreme environment began to settle. Looking at the gradually calming sandstorm, a thoughtful look flashed in Akira's eyes.
Just as he was thinking, Aizen finished collecting the phosphorus and immediately opened a passage. To prevent any unexpected developments, he grabbed the other person's collar and left Hell.
Only after successfully returning to the underground laboratory in the Junrinan district did Aizen finally breathe a sigh of relief.
You couldn't blame him for being so cautious. A certain someone's ability to cause trouble was simply too ridiculous. Who knew what unexpected events might occur?
After safely storing the collected phosphorus, Aizen looked at Akira seriously.
"Akira, if I remember correctly, the Sternritter still has vacant positions, right?"
